Hearing Xu Ming's words, Xu Yue faintly smiled, but even so, she did not talk about this topic any further, making Xu Ming not mention it again as well.

As the topic of discussion slowly but surely shifted, Xu Yanmei breathed a silent sigh of relief, knowing that her mother wouldn't be so unreasonable as to steal her daughter's treasures.

"Other than using time to slowly chip away at it, I'm not sure of any ways to go past this bottleneck of yours that wouldn't harm your potential," said Xu Lanfeng as she looked at Xu Yue, causing the latter to nod.

"I figured this would be the case," mumbled Xu Yue as she looked at her ancestor.

"You shouldn't worry too much, with your talent, you will be able to overcome this bottleneck with time, I'm sure of it, you are still very young," said Xu Lanfeng instantly appeared next to Xu Yue.

Hearing Xu Lanfeng's reassuring words, Xu Yue shook her head.

"I'm not worried, I was just slightly curious," said Xu Yue before disappearing from the room.

After Xu Yue left, Xu Lanfeng couldn't help but fall into quite a bit of thought.

'Since she has already reached this level this fast, her ascendance to the True Immortal Realm is all but guaranteed if no outside circumstances interfere in it,' thought Xu Lanfeng as her eyes landed on Xu Yue, who had arrived back in her cave abode.

The 'level' Xu Lanfeng was talking about, did not mean comprehension of the Dao, but rather, something else, something much more incomprehensible.

As she appeared back inside of her cave abode, Xu Yue immediately sat cross-legged on her meditation mat and turned her attention to the outside world.

Right now, Xu Yue wanted to use the power of fate to see what kinds of thing had happened in the outside world, but as soon as she did so, Xu Yue's eyes widened.

The first person Xu Yue had turned her attention was someone who immediately attracted her attention.

"That's quite improbable, changing his fate once again," mumbled Xu Yue as she looked at Dai Jie, who was currently sitting cross-legged inside his cave abode.

Compared to the last time she saw him, at the moment, Dai Jie looked completely different.

"He reached the Minor Transcendence Realm near the end of his lifespan," mumbled Xu Yue as she looked at the old Dai Jie.

But the fact that Dai Jie had reached the Minor Transcendence realm was not the fact that surprised Xu Yue, what surprised Xu Yue was Dai Jie's aura, which had completely morphed since the last time she had seen him.

Not only that, in Xu Yue's eyes, Dai Jie's future had become rather foggy, as if something was restricting her vision of it.

As she searched for the reason for this change, Xu Yue suddenly sensed something within Dai Jie, a certain Dao, which although wasn't his main Dao, seemed to even suppress his main Dao itself.

"The Dao of Time?"

For an unknown number of years, Dai Jie had been sitting inside this cave abode, meditating, but at this very moment, he suddenly opened his eyes.

At this moment, a frown appeared on Dai Jie's face, causing him to suddenly spread out his spiritual sense.

Just a moment ago, Dai Jie had sensed something, but unlike usually, it was not Dai Jie's Dao of Fighting which warned him.

Rather, it was the Dao of Time, which he had somehow managed to comprehend not long after destroying his village.

Even though Dai Jie did not yet know how to properly use the Dao of Time, nor did he know how rare or powerful it was, the Dao of Time was still one of the three most powerful Daos alongside Fate and Space.

As such, Dai Jie carefully hid his comprehension, not allowing anyone to learn of it.

Rather sadly, doing so was quite easy, as Dai Jie no longer had any close acquaintances, after all, all of his previous ones had died from old age.

The moment Dai Jie felt this Dao of his fluctuate, he raised his guard to the highest level possible and began searching for a reason why this had happened.

But even after several months of searching, Dai Jie did not find anything, prompting him to take out a certain treasure from his spatial ring.

The moment Dai Jie opened his spatial ring and looked inside, he suddenly froze, as a horrified look appeared on his face.

As a Minor Transcendence Cultivator, Dai Jie perfectly knew everything that was inside his spatial ring.

Because of this, the moment he opened the ring, Dai Jie discovered the small jade slip placed in a corner of the ring, once which he had not placed there.

"As expected of the Dao of Time, even the sect has only one technique related to it," mumbled Xu Yue as she looked at the jade slip in her hands.

In the past, the Origin Sword Sect had accepted three disciples who had comprehended the Dao of Time.

Even though not a single one of them accomplished much, after three lifetimes of practicing, one of them finally managed to create a Time Technique.

The 'Time Accelerating Formation'.

Sadly though, without someone who knew the Dao of Time, using this Formation was impossible.

Because of this, Xu Yue did not feel any pity giving this formation to Dai Jie, as a sort of investment.
