A few moments after Xu Yue exited the room she suddenly appeared inside of an empty small world.

Without any warning, Xu Yue's body suddenly began increasing in size, before quickly becoming incomparably huge.

After sitting cross-legged in the middle of the empty small world, Xu Yue began looking inwards, at her body.

"That's pretty good," mumbled Xu Yue as she looked at how her body was regenerating itself.

Under the effects of whatever pills Xu Lanfeng had given her, the regenerative properties of Xu Yue's body seemed to have increased to an extremely abnormal degree.

Every single second, extremely deep and well-hidden injuries still present on Xu Yue's body appeared before being completely healed.

Suddenly, Xu Yue wanted to try to speed up the speed of her healing and began actively helping her body heal itself.

But just as she began doing that, Xu Yue suddenly spit out a mouthful of blood, this single mouthful of blood from Xu Yue's enourmous body showered an entire continent that was sitting below her.

"It's best if I don't do that again," mumbled Xu Yue, deciding to let her body do it's thing and let it heal on its own.

As such, Xu Yue closed her eyes and began waiting for her body to be healed enough so that she wouldn't have any issues cultivating, deciding not to go out as to allow it to rest a bit as well.

Several years later,

As Xu Yue was sitting crosslegged, suddenly the sword at her waist, which had been silent until now suddenly lit up in a flash of light.

...

After being confused for an unknown amount of time, suddenly's Yan Yuan's mind felt clear for the first time in over a decade.

"Something interfered with me," mumbled Yan Yuan as memories from the past decade suddenly began to enter his mind, causing fury to begin boiling in Yan Yuan.

"He must have prepared something to specially deal with me," thought Yan Yuan as more and more fury began boiling in him.

Compared to Xu Yue, Yan Yuan's vision was very good, and as soon as he reviewed his memories, he immediately knew of the True Immortal.

But even though he was furious, Yan Yuan still couldn't help but sigh at the attacker's cautiousness.

"Even if he hadn't sealed me, with her current weak power I still can protect her against an actual True Immortal," mumbled Yan Yuan as he suddenly realized that he had missed something.

"Who was the one that killed that immortal?" thought Yan Yuan as he began searching his memories, but as he did so, he immediately realized something, causing a chill to appear in it's heart.

"My memories were altered," thought Yan Yuan as some sweat actually formed on the metal sword from just how deep of a fear he was feeling right now.

"To be able to destroy memories of mine, that being is at least a Rank 6 true immortal," thought Yan Yuan as he suddenly turned his attention to something else.

Looking at his temporary weider, who was looking at him right now, Yan Yuan couldn't help but sigh.

...

Suddenly, just as Xu Yue was staring at her now glowing sword, an old man suddenly appeared next to her.

Looking at the old man, Xu Yue couldn't help but immediately ask something.

"So are you the artifact spirit of my sword?" asked Xu Yue as she looked at the old man who had just appeared in front of her with some anger in her.

"Yes, that is true, I am its artifact spirit, as you may have guessed," said Yan Yuan as he looked at Xu Yue with some embarrassment on his face.

"Then shouldn't an artifact spirit of a sword like you at least try to protect it's wielder?" asked Xu Yue as she stared at the old man in front of her with a cold expression, with her former anger having disappeared.

"Sadly, it seemed as if the attacker knew about me and prepared accordingly, he seemed to have prepared something to specifically deal with me, otherwise I could have helped you," said Yan Yuan as he looked at Xu Yue with a helpless expression.

Hearing what Yan Yuan said, Xu Yue couldn't help but frown.

"So you know about the attacker?" asked Xu Yue as she looked at Yan Yuan, upon hearing his explanation, and seeing his helplessness, even some of her past coldness disappeared, but even so, she still stared at him.

"Well you don't have to worry about him, he's already dead, killed by the same being that presumably helped you defend against the attack," said Yan Yuan as he took a sip of tea, from a cup that had conveniently appeared in front of him.

Upon hearing what Yan Yuan had just said, Xu Yue's eyes couldn't help but light up.

"So you know saved me?" asked Xu Yue.

"No, sadly, it seemed as though that being erased itself from my memories, but even so, you shouldn't have to worry about it," said Yan Yuan as he took another cup of tea.

As she heard that, a meeting she had just before entering seclusion appeared in her mind.

The moment Xu Yue even just thought about mentioning the being that looked almost exactly like her, an extremely oppressive feeling emerged in her mind as her intuition desperately warned her not do such a foolish thing.

"Then what about the True Immortal that tried to kill me?" asked Xu Yue as she looked at the old man.

"That being was someone, who for some reason, kept reincarnating an extremely large amount of times so as to not become a True Immortal, until he completed a mission, I really pity him, so foolish," said Yan Yuan as a disdainful look appeared on his face.

Before Xu Yue could say anything, Yan Yuan continued on with his monologue.

"He really thought there was no side effect to doing such a thing, I wonder how he felt like, when after accumulating for countless eons, he was still so weak, or maybe he didn't know at all," said Yan Yuan as let out a small laugh.
