As he looked at the slaughter that was taking in place in front of him, Yuan Xing couldn't help but let out a faint sigh.

Thousands of True Immortals were currently battling with masked figures, as well as the bugs that they had under their control.

But even though Yuan Xing knew that he would be able to finish this battle if he took action, Yuan Xing did not do so, as he simply stared at the scene in front of him, waiting for the right moment to strike, and for his opponent to reveal himself.

As a Rank 5 True Immortal, Yuan Xing had come here with a particular target in mind, rather, several targets, all of which he would be able to take out at once.

At a certain moment, one of Yuan Xing's two swords disappeared from his waist, appearing in his hands as Yuan Xing suddenly appeared in the middle of the battlefield, having found his targets.

The moment Yuan Xing appeared, he suddenly slashed out his sword towards four random masked figures, who were currently trying fighting against a few True Immortals.

As soon as Yuan Xing's sword attacked, several dozen Rank 1 and 2 True Immortals, as well as even more Masked Figures suddenly died, as their existences were completely unable to resist Yuan Xing's attack.

No matter what sort of safety measures they took, or what sort of backups they made, all of these things were completely useless in the face of Yuan Xing's overwhelmingly powerful strength, which completely annihilated them from history.

Rather interestingly though, unlike the other fighters, Yuan Xing's five targets did not actually die from his attack, and merely spat out mouthfuls of blood.

But even so, as he stared at this scene, a faint smile appeared on Yuan Xing's face, as only a fraction of a moment later, he let out another strike, which severed the existence of one of his targets into tiny pieces.

A moment later, the four remaining targets suddenly launched a combined attack against Yuan Xing, making him faintly smile at its power.

"Equivalent to Peak Rank 4, I guess you were really Rank 5 and Rank 6 True Immortals before descending..." mumbled Yuan Xing as he suddenly stretched out his fist and caught the attack with his bare hand, as he then used his other hand to slash the existence of the former Rank 6 True Immortal who had descended to the Lower Realm into tiny pieces.

Even though they had some time to recover their strength, and were far more powerful than they had ever been in the lower dimension, right now, none of the three remaining Apostles could hope to match a True Rank 5 True Immortal in battle, as such, only a few moments later, all of them were slaughtered by Yuan Xing, who then proceeded to annihilate the remaining Rank 1 and Rank 2 Apostles.

Although they were on the same time, the moment Yuan Xing took action, the rest of the True Immortals immediately retreated, knowing they would be of no help to the powerful Immortal in the battle that would follow.

'Some of these little guys have some talent,' thought Yuan Xing as he looked at the retreating group of Rank 1 and Rank 2 True Immortals.

Although Yuan Xing could retreat at the moment, he also knew that doing so would spell the doom of those little guys, as the Apostles would not take kindly to the hidden agreement between them being broken.

Most likely, the fact that a Rank 5 True Immortal like Yuan Xing had taken action meant that a Rank 5 Apostle would retaliate.

A being of such power would be able to quickly destroy the group of young immortals, which was not something that Yuan Xing wanted to see, even though exchanging them for the lives of four Rank 5 and one Rank 6 Apostle was quite worth it.

And as Yuan Xing had expected, not long after the group had left, a lone figure had suddenly appeared in front of him, causing him to suddenly become serious.

...

As he looked at the Rank 5 True Immortal in front of him, as well as at the apostle corpses around him, doubt appeared on Wang Chun's face.

"A dignified Rank 5 True Immortal taking part in such a small battle, how shameless," mumbled Wang Chun as he continued staring at the True Immortal in front of him.

Hearing the words of the Apostle, which were most likely aimed at baiting him, Yuan Xing remained silent.

Even though Yuan Xing was confident in himself, he knew better than to underestimate his enemy, and as such, immediately took action.

A fraction of a moment later, Yuan Xing behind the apostle and stabbed his sword towards the latter's chest, causing the apostle to appear a little bit surprised.

If the True Immortal had simply appeared behind him, the Apostle wouldn't have been surprised, but as he looked at the identical clone of the True Immortal, which was stabbing at him from his front, doubt appeared on his face.

No matter how much the Apostle investigated, he could not find which one of the two was the real Immortal, causing him to land into quite a bad situation.

But just as the Apostle was about to dodge both of the strikes, horror appeared on his face as a piece of information was suddenly sent into his mind by his lord.

The moment the Apostle realized who the True Immortal in front of him was, he immediately began fleeing, no longer desiring to fight him in the slightest.

Leaving Yuan Xing and his clone to float speechlessly in the air.

"Annoying..." mumbled one of the Yuan Xing's, before suddenly transforming into a sword and flying to the other's waist.

"Don't worry Fei'er, you'll get to have some more fun in the future, we've just gotten a bit of a reputation right now, we need to a bit more low-key at the moment," said Yuan Xing as he moved his finger along the sharp edge of his Dao Companion, causing blood to fall onto her.
