Library of Heaven

Hearing what the system had said, a deep frown appeared on Ling Fan's face.

"So they can discover you?" asked Ling Fan as he increased the speed of the flying treasure, wanting to go as far away from the sword region as possible.

"No, but you don't want to meet them," said the System, causing Ling Fan's frown to deepen once again.

"Hopefully we don't meet them," mumbled Ling Fan as he looked over the horizon.

Inside the Origin Sword Sect,

A smile appeared on Xu Yue's face as she meditated inside of her cave abode, as she opened her eyes, Xu Yue looked to the sky before letting out a laugh.

As she closed her eyes once again, a transformation began taking place inside of Xu Yue, her Boundless sword Dao began rapidly gathering next to her soul.

As the Dao became more and more condensed, it slowly began transforming, at first it became a blank sphere, but as time passed details began appearing on it as it slowly began transforming into a seed.

The moment the final transformation into a seed took place, it began affecting Xu Yue herself, but as she continued feeling the effects of the transformation, something became clear to Xu Yue.

"I need a stronger physical body," mumbled Xu Yue as she gripped the air before her, even though her body was immensely powerful, it completely paled in comparison with her soul and Dao.

"Can't have any weakness," mumbled Xu Yue as an unknown determination appeared in her eyes.

"Let's see what body-refining scriptures the sect has," mumbled Xu Yue as she instantly appeared inside of the sect library, the moment she appeared there, Xu Yue took out an ornate purple token, causing the formation that prepared to attack her back down.

"Hopefully I find some things that can help me," thought Xu Yue as she appeared in the Body Refining Section of the library.

After this, Xu Yue began looking through the library, searching for a suitable method for her to use, starting from the weakest Earth Level techniques and working upwards.

Xu Yue read every single technique, from the weakest to the most powerful, in hopes of find one that suited her.

As such several months had passed since Xu Yue had entered the sect library, having read every single body refining technique, Xu Yue prepared to go back to her cave abode and begin experimenting.

But as she did so, a certain door inside of the sect library suddenly opened in front of her, causing Xu Yue to narrow her eyes.

The moment the door appeared, Xu Yue sent a message through the token in her possession, alerting the sect of it's existence, but surprisingly, the response was not anything negative.

Walking into the door, Xu Yue suddenly found herself inside of a corridor, the moment she entered the corridor, a distant memory suddenly appeared in her mind.

"The Library of Heaven," mumbled Xu Yue as she continued walking through the corridor, eventually arriving at a door.

The Library of Heaven was first created by an extremely ancient immortal who had ascended using the Dao of Knowledge.

As the tale said, during his lifetime, the immortal encountered countless amounts of knowledge that would have been lost to the world if not for the fact that he had encountered it, as such, when he became immortal, he used his every last resource and managed to create this library, over the years all other Immortal who comprehended the Knowledge Dao continued improving the library, causing it to become overwhelmingly powerful.

As such, inside of the Library, not even immortals can use their powers, of course, if anyone feels they are in danger they can use them and be kicked out, but if they try to harm or restrict others, their fate would not be good.

Even though it is one of the most powerful immortal artifacts in existence, the library only has two functions, Record Knowledge, and give Knowledge.

Every single time a piece of Knowledge was about to be lost in the Three Thousand Regions, it will be picked up by the library, preserving it for all eternity.

And, when someone's desire for Knowledge reaches an extreme, the library will sense it opening it's gate to them, of course, there is a price, every single technique that is created inside of the library must be passed on inside it for future generations.

"Is my desire for body refining techniques so great," mumbled Xu Yue as she gazed at the being sitting crosslegged in front of her.

One moment the being seemed half dead, while in another it would suddenly become extremely young, human, beast, demon, spirit, the being would transform in all of them at extremely terrifying speeds.

"Junior Xu Yue greets senior," said Xu Yue before passing the being and entering the library itself.

At first, Xu Yue wanted to first go to the Body refining section, but when she saw a sign her eyes seemed to be glued to it.

Fate and Divination

Walking through the labyrinth that was the Fate section, Xu Yue would sometimes stop and reach out for certain books, hoping to find one that interested her.

As Xu Yue turned around a corner, she suddenly saw a tiny figure in the distance, not paying much attention to the figure, Xu Yue continued looking through books and jade slips.

Near Xu Yue,

The androgynous figure's eyes stopped looking at the book slightly looking at the incoming Xu Yue.

"This is quite the surprise," mumbled the androgynous figure, as a jade slip from several Li in the distance and floated to her hands.

"This is what you should be searching for," said the androgynous figure as it handed the jade slip over to Xu Yue.

Xu Yue frowned as she looked at the jade slip in her hands, as she looked into it, a wary expression suddenly appeared on her face.

"How do you know I was searching for this?" asked Xu Yueas she looked at the seemingly mortal figure.

"I feel like we are quite similar," said the androgynous figure as it let out a small laugh, causing the frown on Xu Yue's face to deepen.

As soon as it said that, the androgynous figure began leisurely walking away from Xu Yue.

Trying to walk towards the figure, Xu Yue suddenly found that she was locked in place.

"How is this possible, not even immortals should be able to do anything here," mumbled Xu Yue as she felt her movement restricted by an invisible force.

In a secret location,

"Hopefully next time we meet, we can have a good chat," mumbled the androgynous figure as it looked in the distance.

Thoughts swirled in Xu Yue's mind as she thought about the departing figure.

"They can even use their powers inside of here," mumbled Xu Yue as she lightly touched the bookshelf on her side before putting the jade slip into her robe, keeping it with her for now.

"Let's see if can find any suitable body cultivation techniques for me," thought Xu Yue as she exited the Fate and Divination section and went to the Body Refining section.

As she entered it, Xu Yue began looking through the titles of all the books and jade slips in her path, sometimes giving them a light read if she thought they would be useful to her.

Several days later,

"Ancient God Body Refining technique," mumbled Xu Yue as she looked at the small booklet in front of her, opening it, Xu Yue began reading it's contents.

"This technique tries to imitate the Boundless might of the far-gone Ancient Gods," mumbled Xu Yue, reading the first sentence from the booklet.

As she did so, Xu Yue felt as if a flash of lightning had hit her, a single idea suddenly popped up in her mind and did not seem to want to leave.

The moment Xu Yue turned the page, she suddenly found herself looking at two things, a medium-sized shadow and a small dot.

Looking more closely at the dot, Xu Yue sucked in a breath of cold air, after a few moments, Xu Yue completely ignored the world and gazed towards the shadow that clouded it.

Unconsciously, a transformation began taking place in Xu Yue, the size of her body began slowly but gradually increasing causing Xu Yue incredible pain, but that did not seem to bother her, as she was too focused on the shadow in the booklet.

"Power can do anything," mumbled Xu Yue, as a certain ridiculous image appeared in her mind.

A fist struck a dead body with so much force that it came back alive, but at the same time, so little force that no damage had happened to it, as she thought about this Xu Yue coudn't help but think about how ridiculous such a thing was, but for some reason, she knew this had happened.

An unknown amount of time later,

Opening her eyes, Xu Yue felt extremely uncomfortable, she then closed her eyes once again, small clicking sound could be heard from her body at that moment as her bones and internal organs shifted to a more natural state.

"That's better," mumbled Xu Yue, as she let out a full power punch to the wall of the library, but as expected nothing happened except for the fact that a red dot appeared on her wrist.

"I should stretch myself a bit when I get out," thought Xu Yue as she visualized her true body.

Looking at the over twenty-meter-tall giant in front of her, Xu Yue couldn't help but smile, especially when looking at the white star that could be seen on her forehead.

"This place is really restrictive, I should master this and get out," thought Xu Yue as she took out a small jade slip and began reading through it.

Three months later,

"This method really is quite good," mumbled Xu Yue as she got up from the ground, a small smile on her face as she imagined herself fighting with an opponent.

"Can't really measure my strength that well with all these breakthroughs," thought Xu Yue as she stopped trying to measure her strength without testing it in the real world.

At that moment, Xu Yue disappeared from the Library of Heaven, reappearing inside of the sect.

"I need to vent," mumbled Xu Yue as she felt her strength being unsealed, she couldn't help but want to destroy things.

...

Inside a forest,

Several beasts suddenly raised their heads to look in a certain direction, but sadly, they could not escape as a shockwave hit them straight on, completely turning them into dust.

The shockwave continued on, not being stopped by anything in it's path, no forest, no mountain, and especially no beast, turning everything on the continent into dust.

A thirty-meter-tall Xu Yue smiled as she looked at the abyss below her.

"That was a good punch," mumbled Xu Yue as spiritual stones kept disappearing from her storage ring, being devoured by her ravenous body in it's quest to grow.

Actually, at this moment Xu Yue's physical strength had not actually increased that much, as she is still only a one-star Pseudo Ancient God.

Suddenly, a certain realization hit Xu Yue.

"Boundless Dao"

"Boundless Soul"

"Boundless Physical Strenght"

"This is my path," shouted Xu Yue as the entire minor world shook from the force of her shout, causing the fearful Heavenly Dao of this world to hide even more deeply.

As she was about to take out her sword and begin testing it's strength, a giant eye appeared before Xu Yue.

Seeing the eye, Xu Yue bitterly put her sword back in it's sheath.

"It's best to not destroy any more worlds, even if they are the Sect's property," mumbled Xu Yue as she disappeared from the minor world, allowing the world's shivering heavenly dao to come out.

Only after this did the Eye of the Heavenly Dao disappear from the world.

Inside of the Origin Sword Sect,

As she thought about the Eye of the Heavenly Dao, anger boiled inside of Xu Yue, but even so a calm look was still maintained on her face.

"Trying to puppeteer me, damn this Heavenly Dao," thought Xu Yue as memories about her fate entered her mind.

The moment she had comprehended the Dao of Fate, Xu Yue had completely understood most of the Heavenly Dao's schemes, but even though the Heavenly Dao knew about this fact, it's impartiality forbid it from doing anything.

"I wonder how powerful my Heavenly Tribulation will be," mumbled Xu Yue, it was unknown if she truly did not know how powerful the tribulation would be, or rather she merely wanted to childishly taunt the Heavenly Dao.
