Enlightenment

As Xu Ming was just about to go to sleep, she suddenly aged an imperceivable amount, but even so, this was enough to jolt her awake.

"What is this?" mumbled Xu Ming as she suddenly began growing at a fast speed.

After a few moments, Xu Ming suddenly appeared next to Xu Yue, who currently seemed to look into the void as a peculiar aura appeared around her.

Mere moments later, a formation suddenly surrounded Xu Yue shielding her from the outside world as to preserve her enlightenment.

As time continued to pass, Xu Ming stopped growing as Xu Yue seemed to be reaching a certain state.

At that moment, a small insignificant lightning bold thundered outside of the sect, through the countless layers of formations that were shielding her, Xu Yu vaguely saw a shadow of the lightning bolt as her enlightenment stopped suddenly.

Continuing on, Xu Yue suddenly forgot about the lightning bolt.

But even so, no worry or anger could be seen on Xu Yue's face.

"I understand," mumbled Xu Yue as she felt the world become clear to her, all its secrets laid bare to her eyes for a brief moment, being taken away from her when she finished.

But in that mere moment of comprehension, Xu Yue had seen everything she needed to see.

A while later,

Xu Yue was sitting at a table talking with her parents and grandfather.

"I almost comprehended the Dao of Fate," said Xu Yue as she sipped the tea her father had made, finding its taste delicious.

Hearing that, surprised expressions appeared on the faces of all the people at this table.

"I should have expected It," mumbled Xu Hui as he touched his beard, thoughts brewing inside of his head.

"It's a pity you didn't manage to comprehend it fully," said Xu Chao before sighing and taking another sip of his tea.

"Yes, it truly is," said Xu Yue as her expression suddenly became sad.

"I have faith that you comprehend it," said Wu Jing as she silently appeared behind Xu Yue and embraced her in a hug.

"You don't need to have faith, after this, I am confident I can do it," said Xu Yue as she slipped away from Wu Jing's hug.

After a few more minutes of small talk, Xu Hui finally asked a more serious question.

"How did this affect your other Daos?" asked Xu Hui as continued touching his beard.

"My comprehension of the Heaven and Earth Dao has quite improved, sadly this did not have much effect on my Boundless Dao," said Xu Yue, bothering to say anything about the Daos that composed the Supreme Dao of fate.

After talking for a few more minutes, the family had a nice meal for the first time since Xu Yue was born.

The next day,

Xu Ming looked at the metal shard in her hands with shining eyes.

"This is a gift from mummy, do you like it?" asked Xu Yue as she listened to Shi Yao play the zither, sadly for Shi Xia, Xu Yue did not find it suitable for her to dance in front of Xu Ming.

"I like it!" shouted Xu Ming before the metal shard in her hands began dissipating, being transported into her.

As soon as it arrived in the dimension, the metal shard suddenly began breaking into even smaller pieces before even those pieces were ground to dust and swallowed by the dimension.

"Tasty, I want more!" shouted Xu Ming, causing Xu Yue's expression to turn slightly bitter.

"You should eat your fill," said Xu Yue with a happy tone in her voice as she put a storage bag into Xu Ming's small hands.

As Xu Ming ran off, the happy expression on Xu Yue's face disappeared being replaced by an unsure one.

A moment later, she took out a small token and spoke into it.

"I need more food to feed Xu Ming."

...

"If you want your granddaughter to not grow you can do as you say," shouted Xu Yue as she stopped listening to her mothers' words.

Sometime later,

Xu Yue smiled as she looked into the storage ring in front of her, before looking into the small jade slip.

'This should be enough for ten thousand years, feed her well'

"I will mother, I will," mumbled Xu Yue as she calculated how would that piece of Immortal material keep, Xu Ming fed.

As she wanted to take four thousand years worth of food out, Xu Yue suddenly thought of Xu Ming's petite frame, biting her lower lip, Xu Yue silently took out several precious materials from her storage ring and shoved them into this ring.

"She will eat me to poverty," mumbled Xu Yue as she put the ring away.

At the same time inside Xu Yue's sea of consciousness,

"I see you have decorated your home well," said Xu Yue as she ignored the luxurious manor around her.

"Why did you even ask to meet me? You know everything already," said Yue as she silently took out a sip of tea.

"This makes it feel more official," said Xu Yue as she looked through the jade slip Yue had just created.

Hearing what Xu Yue said, Yue could only let out a sigh as she put her hand on her forehead, wondering how she could work with this stupid person.

The space region was one of the most difficult regions to traverse, knowing when you are going is not something usually possible, you might take one single step and end up in another corner of the region or travel for millions of years and not move at all.

As such, no forces could base themselves inside it.

Right now in a corner of the space region,

The androgynous figure laughed as she looked at the scene in front of her, she continued looking at it even as her cave abode suddenly teleported, barely evading the vision of the Heavenly Dao.

"This is too funny," said the figure as it played with the small object in it's hands.
