Inside a large city.

Xu Yue and Ming Yun were slowly walking through the streets of a city, occasionally looking at the contents of stalls that covered the sides of the street.

Suddenly, it seemed as if Xu Yue had sensed something, and thus, began slowly walking in the direction of one of the stalls.

Behind one of the stalls stood a little girl a young girl at the Skin Refinement realm, on her stall, alongside a few swords there were also several rocks.

"Little girl, how much for all of this?" asked Xu Yue with a small smile on her face as she looked at the things on the stall.

"200 spiritual stones," said the girl, the words coming from her mouth seemed to wipe the confident look on her face.

"Little girl, aren't you a bit young to carry so many spiritual stones," asked Xu Yue as she appeared behind the girl and began ruffling her hair.

"Big sister, my name is Meng Lin, I'm looking after the stall for my grandfather, he will be back soon," said Meng Lin as she tried to escape Xu Yue's grasp.

Seeing this, Xu Yue let out a small laugh before appearing before the stall once again, causing Meng Lin to breathe a sigh of relief at last.

A small silence then ensued as Xu Yue began waiting for the girl's grandfather.

As the two of them waited, Ming Yun silently began walking in a certain direction.

"Useless garbage," said Ming Yun as she smashed her hand through the chest of a handsome young man who wanted to approach Xu Yue.

A mere moment later, she smashed the heads of his bodyguards before giving a final kick to the young man's now dead body.

Somehow without a sliver of blood on her, Ming Yun silently returned to Xu Yue's side.

As that happened, the crowd around the street seemed to have suddenly thinned, leaving only several brave cultivators who were here to watch the show.

Meng Lin's face showed as pitiful expression as she saw this scene.

"Who did I get myself involved with!" bitterly cried Meng Lin inside of her mind.

After several more minutes of waiting, an old man hurriedly ran towards the stall.

"Lin'er are you alright?" asked the old man as he examined his granddaughter.

"Yes grandpa, this big sister wants to buy something," said Meng Lin.

As the old man looked at Xu Yue more closely, he suddenly bowed.

"Junior Meng Yun pays respects to senior," said Meng Yun as he quickly instructed his granddaughter to do the same.

"Junior Meng Yu-Lin pays respects to senior," said Meng Lin as she almost completely messed up the greeting.

Hearing this, Xu Yue let out a small laugh, causing Meng Yun to breathe a silent sigh of relief.

"This senior is somewhat understanding I see," said Meng Yun as he couldn't help but look towards the dead bodies in a corner.

"I want to buy everything on your stall," said Xu Yue as she looked at Meng Yun with an expressionless face.

Hearing this, Meng Yun became extremely excited, even somewhat showing it on his face.

"That will be 190 spiritual stones," said Meng Yun as he quickly gathered all the things on the stall.

Suddenly, the objects on the stall were replaced by a pile of spiritual stones.

Ming Yun wanted to say something but he was shocked to find out Xu Yue had disappeared, seeing that, he quickly put the spiritual stones in his storage bag before disappearing with his Granddaughter.

In the sky.

"Senior sister, was there any reason to put so much effort for such a small piece of Earth Essence, it's probably not even worth the 1000 spiritual stones you gave them," asked Ming Yun as she stretched her body.

Hearing this Xu Yue did not answer the question merely responding with one of her own.

"Do you think that clan will cause the two of them trouble?" asked Xu Yue as she tinkered with the earth essence in her hand.

"Understood Senior Sister," said Ming Yun before flying towards the city once more.

That night, the Li clan was completely annihilated alongside it's Qi Refining cultivator.

"Let's see when we will meet again, little Meng," mumbled Xu Yue as she felt the link connecting the two of them, of course, even if she didn't do that, the two of them would have met anyways, the reason Xu Yue had helped her was to merely sow some good karma.

That very night,

Meng Lin seemed to have lost her soul, she exited the house and rapidly walked down the street before reaching an alley.

"What is this," mumbled Meng Lin as she felt the uncontrollable urge to grab the rusted sword in front of her.

As she roughly grabbed it, a small about of blood from her hand landed on the sword before melting inside of it, causing Meng Lin to immediately black out.

In the sky,

Xu Yue was expressionless as she looked at the fire that was raging in that city right now.

"I should go to a more prosperous part of the region this place is too barren," mumbled Xu Yue as Ming Yun reappeared.

At that moment, the ship then began traveling further into the region with a frightening speed.

"Did you deal with them," asked Xu Yue as she continued playing with the piece of Earth Essence in her hands.

"Yes, could have done it much faster if not for that formation protecting them," said Ming Yun as she took out a few spatial from her robe.

Looking inside of the Spatial rings, Xu Yue could see several mountains of treasures being pilled inside.

"Did you take everything?" asked Xu Yue as she transferred the contents to her own ring.

"Even the dirt from the Medicine Garden," said Ming Yun, causing Xu Yue to smile.

"I have really taught you well," mumbled Xu Yue as a small tear appeared at the corner of her eyes
