Chapter 2: Payment

"Ella, I will definitely pay you back for the treatment. But you know my condition. Can I delay the payment for a few days?" Lisa, or his current mother, pleaded to the doctor.

"If it were someone else, I would out right reject them. But considering our friendship, fine. But you cannot tell anyone about this" Ella replied in a serious tone.

'It seems like my family's financial condition is on the bad side' Kiro couldn't help but feel disappointed. 'Looks like I'm not some prince of a nation or something like that.'

"Thank you so much Ella! Can Kiro stay here for the next couple of hours? I'll bring him back home after I finish work." And without waiting for a response, Lisa ran out of the room.

Ella couldn't help but sigh and murmured, "What was I expecting?"

Then she turned around and looked at me.

"Well, lets get you cleaned up first." She then turned to exit the room.

"Aren't you going to come?" As she gestured me to follow her.

I then broke out of my stupor and followed her out of the room.
