1 Where Everything Begin

Since age of time, various monsters crawl all around the world. While, mankind struggling to the extreme just to live for day and tomorrow. At the brick of extinction, mankind realized that they required absolute strength beyond unimaginable state to control thier own fate. As they begin to gathered and formed an alliances for solely purpose, which continue endured their existence or survive in this cruel world. By willingly accepted each other, they starting to build a kingdom with gigantic wall and protected by energy force shield that covererd whole territory. As time passed, human population began to growth stronger, better and superior in every aspect, so do the kingdom's size together with strength. The first kingdom of mankind was called, The Kingdom of Primal. Mankind starting to build one after one kingdom as they become stronger. However, no matter how far they go or hide, monsters will be always there as obstacle for their existence.

In front of orphanage somewhere in Kingdom of Primal, with heavy rain drop from sky which produced noise like bullet being fired from gun. A man in robe with mask grabbed 6 year-old girl's hand. At the same time, the little girl standing still like an immovable statue holding her 5 year-old brother, both of them filled with mix emotion and expression. After doorbell was rang for few time, an adult lady around 30-an opened the door and saw 3 unknown person standing in front of her. The lady was dumbfounded when she saw 2 little children like a body without soul standing together with indescribable facial expressions. Suddenly, she changed all her focus to man in robe with mask. Although, the lady felt nothing coming from this person aura, she knew her judgement was not wrong. The man in robe Soul level was something which reach beyond unimaginable state, but he restrained to hide his presence. "H-h..hello Sir, what may this lady help you?" said the lady with humble voice and still shocked from the situation. "I'm just a wandered which travel the world aimlessly, but I happened to pass by a village which attacked by monsters. All villagers was killed including their parents. So, I'm leaving them here." said the man in robe with honest and straightforward to the point. The lady widening her eyes that look round like a doll as shocked after listened carefully to the man in robe. While her hand covered the mouth. After recovered from shock, the lady look at them and said "Come in, you guys must travel a long way to here. And, just called me, Laurent" .The man in robe push gently the little girl and her brother as they move like zombie to Lauren's side. "No need for me, just take care of them. Both of them are still traumatized after what happened. Don't worry about the expenses for them. Here, take this monster's core which you can sell at the market." said the man in robe while hand over the monster's core to Laurent. As Laurent grabed both of child and look at the core, she again shocked until jaw drop upon seen its. "This core was X level monsters???!!!! How did you obtain its?.", Laurent said with full of curiosity and dumbfounded as she knew the price for this monster's core. If she sell the core at market, it will able to support 10 people for rest of their life live in luxury or upgrade the orphanage. The monster's core can be very useful in many kind of way which able to create armory, weaponry, or improvise one's Soul level. The market price is based on category of monster level or demand. Without any word, the man in robe passed the core and received by Laurent. As for Laurent, she recognized directly the core that given by man in robe because of reading a lot of book. Before he able to turn away, "Before you leaving, may I know what exactly your name?" Laurent asked. Silently he walk away without response to Laurent's question and disappeared in heavy rain.

Inside the orphanage, Laurent brought the siblings into guest's room, which is currently empty. She decided for both of them to stay here temporary, in guest's room which has 2 single beds. After that, she observe them for awhile and ask "How may I call you guys?", with a warmth smile. Both of them remain silent without answer. Laurent know it take time for heal from traumatic and deep wound. Even if it get well, scar will remain behind forever on their surface of the wounds. Therefore, she just give up from asking their name and take them to shower. She also help them to wash and clean the dirt on their body due to long journey. While showering, the little girl suddenly open mouth and said "Y-Y-Yuna.....Kai....." with low and unclear tone. Laurent heard and directly know that it was thier name and reply "Hello Yuna! Hello Kai. Just call me, sis Laurent!" along with big bright smile like sunshine. Afterwards, Laurent dress Yuna and Kai with nice and comfortable clothes, and inform them to sleep at guest's room. Kai continue to stay silent while Yuna starting to appear a bit open for Laurent because of her kindness and sincerity towards them. "I will become stronger to able protect people I love, and watch over my family including you, sis Laurent. And, to able to meet he again." Yuna said without hesitation and seriousness. Although Laurent know Yuna was still little child, but she was not laugh or think as a joke. As for "he" Yuna mentioned, Laurent knew it refer to the man in robe with mask.

Laurent come to realized something when she bathed Yuna and asked "What is this "Mark" on your right chest?". The "Mark" is like a magical symbol, it was size of an egg but more bigger and seem ancient. Yuna look at the "Mark" and reply "I don't know. He given to me as good luck charm." Laurent observe the "Mark" carefully and scratching her head while the eyes squeezing to focus the details. Based on knowledge and experience possessed, it seem she didn't learn anything from this weird symbol. Again, she eventually give up and prepare the room to let them sleep. After settled everything, Laurent ask them if need to eat anything, so she can prepare some food. Yuna rejected the offer as they eated during journey to Kingdom of Primal. Laurent shocked by Yuna's word, it seem the man in robe treat them better than her thought. The man in robe wanted them to live a better life with bright future. So he sent Yuna and Kai here to avoid travel aimlessly around the world with dangerous monsters, also learn something from this city. Laurent leave the room with warmth smile while said " Good night Yuna and Kai, sweet dream." After that, Yuna look at Kai and said "Little brother, big sis will become stronger to protect you. So, don't worry about bad thing happen anymore." While hugging her little brother with little tears slide down from both of them.
