4 Chapter 3

After several days, Harlow finally arrived in the city.

This town, was the size of, Warsaw or Budapest, you could consider it even big. If you add that it is a port city, this city has a great potential.

In this city, Harlow said goodbye to her 'friends', but before that she got money from them, as she was due. Harlow received an equal amount of 10 gold coins and 20 silver coins. In dollar terms, that was $120,000. It wasn't much, but it wasn't little either, especially in this world.

Now, Harlow, all she needed was new clothes, the ones she had were, well, very scarce. Shorts, Bra, Robe and that's all that was in the equipment.

'Who walks around town like that? after all, it's the same as walking around town in just your pants!' Harlow thought then.

For a while, Harlow tried to find a store that sold clothes, but she couldn't. She searched for about 10 minutes for shop. After those 10 minutes, she finally found one.

Finally! Holy God, just this one store in this whole town? Even in my small town there were ten shops.

When she finally entered the store, she noticed a lot of clothes, mostly men's clothes.

'Bingo!' She thought then.

"Good morning, dear lady. What would you like?" He asked, a man in a Tuxedo outfit. He looked to be about 24 years old.

"Good morning... I would like to look at some men's clothes." Harlow said. She blushed, she was embarrassed to ask about men's stuff as she was now in girl form, after all what did it look like?

"...Well, what size?" Said the Man, with a puzzled look on his face. It was obvious that the customer he was now serving wanted something that he didn't expect. He expected her to buy a normal dress like a normal woman. But, here the girl he was serving asked for men's clothes, that was a surprise.

"190cm....." She said, calmly.

As quickly as she said that, the man said "Please follow me" And walked towards the men's clothes. There, there were a lot of outfits, from normal peasant clothes, to ones for nobility, for everyone.

No clothes, so far, had caught Harlow's attention. There were old-fashioned clothes, which he did not like too much. But, after a while, she spotted the perfect outfit, something that she was prepared to wear for her entire life if she could.

It was a pure black kimono. It had a lot of white and colored Stripes on it, but in this set, there was also a black blouse and black pants, apparently modeled after the kimono, and matched to it. Both outfits looked great.

Also, from what Albedo noticed, this outfit was surrounded by an Aura that, people could not see. Not buying it was the same as throwing your money down the drain.

"Excuse me how much does this outfit cost?" Harlow asked, apparently pointing to just that kimono.

"You see, this outfit hasn't sold in 2 years..... So as we want to sell it as soon as possible, it will cost 20 silver coins." The man said, with worried face. 'Only? After all, it's like buying a $20k computer for only $20! But this time, it's legit.' Harlow thought then.

It was true, the outfit had Aura around it, which meant it had some magic on it and it assisted the magic of wearer.

Just as quickly as Harlow had bought that very outfit, and left the store, she ran to one of the better alleys to get dressed there.

But, well, as you'd expect from alleys, there were a lot of weirdos, etc. Harlow, barely managed to find a place where no one was.

'Good, now I just need to turn into a man.' She thought, And so for the next 2 minutes, now Harlow was changing her body into Man's Form, to wear the Kimono.

He changed into Kimono really fast, it didn't take few minutes to do that, like a normal human would do [Or I do]. It was like in an instant. It fit perfect to Harlow's body, it even felt like the size of Kimono changed just to be comfortable in this moment.

Harlow, quickly left the alley to go to the Magic 'Academy'.

Admittedly, he couldn't call it an academy but that's for later.

It wasn't far away, just two streets past the clothing store. When Harlow entered it, not only did he catch the eye with his clothes, but also with the fact that he had entered it in the first place.

At first glance, the academy was full of people who wanted to enroll, but rarely did anyone get in. Not only that, one had to have a high Magic statistic but also a talent for magic and the elements.

With meant, not very many people would have come here second time, or not even first.

Harlow, didn't have to wait long, almost everyone who enrolled, didn't even have enough magic to make a zero level spell at all. The easiest, for mages, but for normal people, difficult.

'Great, another idiot who wants to sign up to be a mage! Probably doesn't even have enough magic.' The person that tested people's magic capacity. though.

Well, most of the people who came here left as quickly as they came. So, the waitress got bored, she couldn't even get a bonus for finding a mage.

When Harlow touched the Sphere, which was supposed to show your magical power, instead of it doing nothing, it lit up with such a light that you could hardly see anything. This meant that Harlow, not only had magic power, but also had a lot of it, even above level of High-Level mage, maybe even exceeding sorcerer level!

'Wait! What, he's supposed to be the guy who comes here because he thinks he has a chance!' The person that tested people's magic capacity. though.

Just as quickly as it happened, two people approached Harlow, they stood like that for a moment, as if they didn't believe that just the person in front of them, was the person who has a chance to become a high level mage, no even more, maybe even a sage!

"Follow us please" They said to the man in front of them, to Harlow.

Harlow of course followed those men, he wanted to get into academy at all cost, if he would be able to get into the academy and learn magic, then it would mean that he would only gain strength, with in this world is pretty important.

'Alright, alright just let me in this academy, didn't you see that ball glowing like a flashbang?!' He though. He wanted to say it, though if she said it then he would probably be expelled even before doing anything in this school.

He walked like that for 10 minutes, the corridor Harlow walked thorough was pretty big, for an human eye it would be 4 meters or so. It was also full of gold, paintings and such things that would decorate the hall. There were also lot of doors, most of them, were for laboratories and for classrooms, but there were others too, such like 'Teacher's room' apparently, they had 3 rooms in total.

Well, that was quick 10 minutes, Harlow finally have arrived at the Principal's office. When the two men opened the door, Harlow entered the principals office. There, he met the principal.

She was looking like she was around her 30s, and was tall for around 176cm. She had purple hair like blueberries, that resemble her Aura, and her her blood-like eyes, resemble how many blood she has shed to get the position she is in.

She looked at Harlow for a while, as if she was charmed by him, more importantly she was not prepared for new magican. Most of skilled 'mages' has been already enrolled into the academy, or has already graduated, so it was rare to see new magican.

"Ahhhh....." That was the first sound, that Harlow have heard when coming to the room. Well, it was in mess, there were lot of documents, cups and everything related to work.

The magican, quickly said something, and all items in the room, begun to levitate. 'Chanting, huh.' Harlow though. Well Harlow had Direct Mana Manipulation from Dark Lord class, and unbelievable dark magic compatibility.

"Well.....You both, tell me something about this young man!" She shouted, to men behind Harlow. They both were scared, well she was the principal, she probably could have annihilated them and their family in seconds.

"Aahhh... Yes..... So, the sphere of magic, it didn't just showed a little light, instead, it gave the light, that it could easily blind us and everyone in the room, when we were even on second floor." One man said. "T-that's true, however, we do not know the compatibility of this man, we bring him up here the fastest possible way we could do it." Second man said.

"Compatibility, huh. Well, it can be easily tested, however, you don't lie to me with the light, right?" After she said that, Aura, that made both man kneel emerged from Principals eyes. However, Harlow was standing there, like nothing happen. At first, Principal though that Harlow had frozen while standing, however quickly this idea was like thinking that lemon is not sour.

"They are not lying... " Harlow said. As she was saying that, Aura that principal emerged, quickly begun to come back to Principal. She however, took it on her chest [I don't know, if it means the same in English, however, in Poland that means, that you took all the punches/kicks on yourself, and you still stand still.], and stood like nothing happen. However, in heart she was excited, finally a student, that looked promising.

Quickly, the principal, took some weird spheres from underneath of her table, there were 8 of them. After she took them out, she quickly said:

"Those, spheres, are here to test your compatibility with every element in magic. You just need to touch every one of the sphere, and you will know." She said.

So Harlow said as she did.

First Element is Fire, and Harlow is compatible, Second Element, Water and Harlow is compatible Third Element, Wind and Harlow is compatible. Fourth Element, Nature, and Harlow is compatible.

'Wait.... Fourth elements already?! At this point she may have more compatibility them me!' Principal quickly said. Well, she only was compatible with 6 elements out of 8, and she has the most of them, in history of humanity. Even, elves had max 5 of them. But had more mana, then any human could.

'I can understand his Mana, since he is an elf. But the compatible is already above normal elf, what if he is High Elf?' Well, normal elf, could only have 3 elements, and wind and nature was something, that elves had in their bloodline, so basically, they had only 1 element, that could be somewhat unique.

Fifth Element was Holy Magic, However, here Harlow didn't have compatibility with it, so compatibility with 8 elements was already impossible. However, maybe 7?

Sixth Element was Dark Magic, and here, Harlow not only had the compatibility, but also, the sphere reacted, as if it was normal sphere that tested one's magic capacity. Instead of taking dark-purple color, it was Light-Purple, which meant that Harlow had incredible compatibility with this kind of magic.

Seventh Element, Blood Magic. It wasn't popular among humans, mostly vampires had it, and it was rare for humans. However, here Harlow, had it, and had the same compatibility with it, as the Dark Magic.

Eight, Final Element. Beast Element, The element that allowed one to be beast tamer. Harlow wasn't compatible with it.

'So six.... Same as me, it's still amazing' Principal though. She was the only one to gain Six Elements. and here before her eyes, not human but Elf had gained Six Elements, that meant the Elf was High Elf, However, She still had to be sure.

"A-are you an high elf, or what?" She asked. With somewhat excited voice.

'She thinks I am an elf?! That's a convenience for me, I will not have to come around the bush too much!' This were Harlows thoughts.

"Yes... Yes I am and High Elf, Ma'am." Harlow responded to Principal.

'He is unique one for sure!' Principal thought. 'I have to keep him at every cost, even if it meant giving him privileges that Noble mans don't even have!' Those thoughts quickly were added.

"A-alright, is there anything you want from our Academy" She asked.

"Um, I definitely want to have ability to learn in library, is that possible?" Harlow asked, with soft voice the Principal.

"Ah... Of course! I just have to give this.... to you!" After Principal have said that, she looked around for something, and found the thing she was looking for. It was Medallion, to be exact an golden on with text written on it.

"With this, you will be able to enter the library, and you will be given special privileges. Before exam, you will have a week to learn somewhat magic in library. So prepare yourself." She said to Harlow.

Honestly, week wasn't allot however, also not small amount of time, especially for Harlow, which he could read book once, and have Albedo to memorize it for him. Also what if, Albedo could improve Magic? It would be amazing and would give Harlow huge advantage.

"You two, show this young man library, and His room..... It will be room 250." She said.

"Ma'am, are you s-sure? It's the room 250!" The man responded instead.

"You dare to oppose me?" She said.

After that, quick silent came across the room, and quickly after that, two man, showed the way for Harlow.

Apparently Her room, was next to library, with was a huge convenience to her, since she didn't need to walk around too much, however, she was on the highest Floor, 3rd floor [For Americans 4th floor], when classes were on First Floor [Second for Americans]. It was a bit of inconvenience, however, she gained ability to read in library, with quickly cleared her mind from thinking it as inconvenience.

And that's how Harlow got enrolled into the Academy.
