As the boy was trying to figure out what just happened, the two parents were afraid wondering what was wrong with their cute little baby as they asked....

"Why are his eyes purple?"

And while the doctors came and started examining the little kid, the boy in the dark space mind was in a state of chaos as he was trying to understand what happened, as he thought he remembered his energy was being drained before he passed out,

" Wait, passed out? I had never passed out before since I got to this dark place" Thinking to this point another question came up to his mind

"Why was my energy being drained anyway??"

But no matter how hard he tried to remember he was unable to do so as if something was blocking his mind.

It is worth mentioning that one of the mind energy's growth effects is to enhance memory, so him forgetting something is a worrying incident ...

While the boy was asking himself all these questions, the doctors were lastly finished examining the kid Astrick, they were unable to identify the reason for his eye colour so they just blamed it on a genetic mutation saying there was absolutely nothing wrong with him...

The family then went back home after a few tests to make sure that both the mother and the son are okay...

Six years later...

It has been six years since the eye-shaped crack appeared in the dark space, and the black-haired boy was still unable to understand the reason behind its appearance or remember what he was doing before it...

As for the boy that he can see through his eyes, he had been growing like a normal kid, well, normal according to his world's Common sense.

That's right, at first, the black-haired boy thought that this Astrick was from the same world he was from, earth. but he was completely wrong, as it wasn't just a different planet but an entirely different universe which he could tell because the way the physics works is completely different here...

Currently, In the same hospital where Astrick was born Astrick's dad, Derek, was moving back and forth worried about his wife, as today they were having their second child.

Although this is his second time, Derek couldn't help but feel worried about his wife and his new child, cause what if something happened to the child, what if it was born with a congenital malformation, although Derek would still love his child no matter what, as a father, he would always want the best for his children.

After about 4 hours and a half,

Astrick and his dad finally entered the room where his mom and new sibling were, although Astrick didn't much understand what was happening, he was happy to see the smiles on his parents' faces and to know that he'll have a new family member to play with.

Reaching his mom's side, Astrick's mom, Amanda called him saying,

"Astrick come and say hi to your little sister, Clara"

She said while pointing her hand to a spot beside her.

Astrick went to his mom's side and said to the little thing his mom was carrying...

"Hi Clara "

Taking a good look at his little sister's face, his eyes glistened with a weird glitter as he thought of the same word the boy in the dark space thought of,

Angel.

His little sister's face was so cute and angelic and pure.

As he was looking at his sister's face, his own shined with a serious look that no six-year-old should have as he thought

' Don't worry Clara, big brother Astrick will protect you no matter what '

Seeing the look on their child's face, Amanda and Derek were amazed for a second, but then they let out a little laugh as they thought ...

'So cute!!'

Meanwhile, somewhere in the dark space where the boy has never been before, a strange phenomenon could be seen happening as something similar looking to a white hole was pouring out some weird purple liquid for a while...

After pouring out a pit hole worth of liquid the white hole thing started to close in on itself and eventually, it disappeared as if it was never there.

And the purple liquid had some weird effects on the dark space as it was like it was being absorbed by the dark space and suddenly around the purple liquid's pit, some purple crack-looking things started to spread in the dark space ...

It was still unknown whether this was a good thing or a bad thing

Three years later,

It was the last class today in school.

Astrick was now in his school, excited just like everyone else in his class, because tomorrow is the day they finally awaken their ability and talent, which will determine how far they're gonna go in life.

While every kid in class was daydreaming, the teacher of their history class came inside, as soon as he walked in all the noise suddenly stopped as this particular teacher is known for his strict personality.

Satisfied with the students' reaction, the teacher finally opened his mouth,

"I know y'all are excited about tomorrow for your awakening, so why don't we have a little reminder of abilities and talent and how they're ranked.... "

The history teacher took a moment to catch his breath as he continued,

" Our world is called the fallen world, and that's because the first two species that were in this world were demons and fallen angels, as they were followed by the other species some time after ..."

" Since the demons and fallen angels had been in this world there has always been this light red energy we call mana, back then the only way they knew how to use mana was by creating simple things like making a shield around them, lifting light stuff off the ground, etc..."

"That was the case until the monsters were discovered, as after killing a monster they would find a red crystal inside their heads, these crystals are called mana cores.... "

The teacher stopped for a second to see if the students are still following, and then he continued once again.

" Mana cores had a big impact on the world as they could be used for many things, such as creating weapons and armours, being a great energy source, as well as many other things, but the most important use for mana cores is awakening an ability..."

" An ability is something that every being in this world has, but not many can awaken it without an outsider part's help, and this outsider help is mana cores, as it has been discovered that surrounding a mana core with your mana awakens a person's ability for some unknown reason..."

"Abilities can go from something so useless such as adjusting your hair automatically to something so powerful and useful such as telekinesis, creating ice, fire and even manipulating metal, as well as many other things..."

Reaching this point the teacher could see his students shining with stars in their eyes, he let out a small laugh as he continued,

"Talents on the other hand are more of an indicator of the highest rank someone can achieve, low talent means the highest rank for that person is a peak mortal, the mid talent means it's the peak demonic rank, and high talent means it's peak banished, there are of course two other levels of talent which are legendary talent for those who can reach cosmic rank and heavenly talent for those who can reach Divine rank.."

"Of course, the last two have never been seen on our planet except once or twice in history and both times were just a cosmic rank but both said that they can feel there is another rank above cosmic...."

After a few more minutes the class was finally over as the teacher hoped for everyone to have a good awakening tomorrow.

Astrick after saying goodbye to his friends finally went home, ate dinner and went to sleep very excited about tomorrow.

It took him some time to get to sleep as his last thought before entering the dream world was ...

' I can't wait to awaken my ability tomorrow '

Finally, Astrick fell asleep after a long school day...
