"If it's such a big matter, why haven't you reported it to the main city of Pavas?"

Locke glared at the man with sharp eyes and asked in a stern voice.

There was such an obvious loophole in the man's words. It was clear that the man held other intentions. His crashing into Locke's room was no coincidence.

Seemingly frightened by Locke's imposing manner, the man explained with a panicked expression, "The main city of Pavas didn't respond even after several attempts to contact them from our city lord. We have no choice but to take this matter into our own hands."
