1 Prologue: The Start
The sound of tapping was heard in the quiet classroom as the butt of the pen was getting tapped against the wooden desk.
The students did not pay any attention to the sound as they tried to finish their assignments before their upcoming trip on Thursday.
Well… all students except one. As pale, slender hands stopped writing on the page. The tip of the pen staying on the paper, creating a huge stain of ink on the white surface.
Delicate, thin eyebrows twitched as the sound of the pen tapping was still being heard.
Sighing sharply through his nose, Brown, twitching eyes glanced towards the source of the sound just to find his most hated person in the entire college.
Gritting his teeth as he looked down, making his long, black bangs cover his eyes.
His desk-mate noticed his behavior and stared at him with sweat running down his forehead.
He motioned for a girl that was sitting behind them. The girl looked at him and then moved her gaze towards the male that was tapping the pen on the desk.
"Well shit" The girl whispered and the boy nodded. A few others noticed this and some sighed while others just acted like they did not see anything as they continued with their work.
Brown eyes looked towards the man sitting a few desks away from him before closing his eyes, sighing deeply and continuing with his work.
But after writing a few words, he couldn't focus on the rest of his work. Slamming his pen down on the desk before standing up.
The class looked at him with nervousness. The tapping stopped as the guy looked at the other with confused eyes.
"If you could kindly stop with the tapping, Zhao Fang, Then that would be great" The man said, gritting his teeth as he glared at the other. Zhao Fang was quiet the charmer among the ladies and men, His black bangs covering his pretty midnight blue, almost black eyes.
His lips curved to reveal a charming smile with a hint of playfulness as he narrowed his gaze at the annoyed male.
His tan skin glistened with the rays of the sun as he played with the pen in his hands before intentionally tapping the pen on the desk once again.
Zhao Fang grinned as his pearly, white teeth were displayed, enjoying the male in front getting more and more annoyed.
"Why should I stop, Li Huan?" The man now known as Li Huan, balled his hands into fists as he gritted his teeth.
Li Huan was also someone famous among people in this college. He had black, shoulder-length hair and brown eyes that twinkled every time he looks or hears something that he loves.
Li Huan had more of a pale complexion compared to Zhao Fang's tan skin color.
Everyone in their college knew who Zhao Fang and Li Huan were due to competing for the top spot in the whole college with their looks and grades.
No one knows how both of them even started their rivalry! It just randomly started at the start of the middle of their first year and now they were in their second year as the rivalry still continued.
"Leave it be, Li Huan" Li Huan's desk-mate, Xiao Jing held Li Huan's arm, trying to stop a fight from breaking out.
Li Huan just glared at Zhao Fang before picking his books and going out of the classroom with fast steps.
"Li Huan wait!" Li Huan's friend, Liu Ai quickly picked her books up and ran towards her childhood best friend.
Liu Ai, A beauty to behold. Her brown, puffy hair reaching her shoulders as she wore a black ribbon to keep it from going everywhere.
Her complexion was pale, just like Li Huan but she had sparkling greenish grey eyes that brightens everyone's mood in an instant.
Liu Ai and Li Huan grew up together, doing everything together and always protecting one another.
Both of them are known as childhood sweethearts making girls pout knowing that Liu Ai will always be close to one of the smart and pretty guy in this college.
What they didn't know is that Liu Ai was interested in girls and never saw Li Huan as more than a brother.
Liu Ai finally caught up to Li Huan and started walking with him towards the library.
"The sound of tapping wasn't that bad" Li Ai said as her puffy, brown locks bounced with every step she took.
"For me, it was" Li Huan opened the door to the library and went inside after Liu Ai.
"I get it that you want a quiet place whenever you are studying but at the very least try to get along with him" Liu Ai sat down on an empty table with Li Huan sitting on the other side of the table.
"Why would I need to waste my energy trying to get along with him" Li Huan looked at her with a raised brow.
"To not burden the class anymore?" She shrugged her shoulders as she opened her books.
"…" Li Huan stayed quiet as he opened his books, making it clear that this discussion is not going to continue anymore.

It was now Thursday and all of the students were sitting in a bus as they all excitedly talked with one another about the trip.
Li Huan was sitting beside Liu Ai as he was scrolling through his phone, trying to avoid any type of conversations.
Liu Ai looked at him, shaking her head and started talking to the girl sitting in front of them.
Though what all of them did not expect was the bus jerkin suddenly before a fire started on the bus's engine.
"GET THE STUDENTS OUT OF THE BUS!" The teacher shouted but it was too late as the fire slowly started to grow bigger.
The bus driver tried to stop the bus but the brakes stopped working, The bus driver lost control of the bus and the bus crashed against a wall before everything went black.

[Hey! Hey wake up!] A voice called out making Li Huan furrow his brows.
Li Huan slowly fluttered his eyes open but saw that he was in some type of white room.
He sat up and noticed Zhao Fang lying unconscious beside him.
Li Huan grew more confused before flinching when an adorable little ghost appeared in front of him.
"WHAT THE-" He bit his tongue when Zhao Fang started showing signs of waking up.
"What happened…" Zhao Fang whispered as he rubbed his head but stopped when he saw the confused Li Huan staring back at him.
[Finally, both of you are awake now] The little ghost said making both of them to jump and instead stare at the little flying, transparent… kid?
"Li Huan, what the fuck is happening" Zhao Fang sternly looked at the other but grew confused when Li Huan just shrugged.
"Does it look like I know" Li Huan deadpanned before both of them looked towards the little ghost.
[Let me explain] The little ghost said as he floated in front of both of them.
[So congratulations! You both are the two unfortunate- I meant FORTUNATE souls that got chosen by the higher ups for me] The little ghost cheered but it didn't notice how both of the males focused on the sentence 'You both are the two unfortunate souls' Making them stare at the little ghost with narrowed eyes.
[I am Odin! A system of companionship! So-]
"Wait, wait, System of companionship? We are not one bit close to 'companionship' " Li Huan interrupted Odin, Zhao Fang nodding to his statement.
[That is practically the reason why they chose you both] Odin said as he continued to explain.
[The higher ups noticed how both of you do not get along and always are at each other's throats, so they decided to assign me, the system of companionship to make sure both of you get along and AT LEAST try to help each other in life or death situations]
"Why do you sound like Liu Ai…" Li Huan mumbled before he looked at Odin.
"What do you mean 'Life or death situations' " Zhao Fang asked as he crossed his legs, making himself comfortable.
[Well, I am instructed to send both of you in different worlds, both of you will have to help each other to make sure the broken world is fixed. Once you complete this bar] Odin showed a bar that was currently at the number zero.
[Once you get this bar to a hundred then I will send you back to your world with all the other people as well, everything will seem as if it was a dream once you go back but always remember… The bar will only move a percent once it detects companionship between both of you] Odin looked at both of them seriously as Li Huan started to think about all of this as Zhao Fang stared at the system with boredom.
"What's in it for me?" Zhao Fang asked as he crossed his arms, His midnight blue eyes showed a glint of curiosity.
[Well… Odin will also grant a final wish from both of you before sending you back to your original world once all of this is done!] Odin panicked as he explained.
"Anything?" Zhao Fang tilted his head as his grin showed mischief.
[Yes! Anything!!] Odin eagerly said and waited for their response.
"Fine then" Zhao Fang said and Odin turned his attention to Li Huan who was weighing the pros and cons of this whole ordeal.
[And what about you?] Odin asked as he gazed at the other with huge, sparkling eyes.
Li Huan bit his lips before sighing as he nodded.
"Fine…" He whispered and Odin cheered as he started floating around and made a motion as if he was throwing confetti.
Both of them briefly gazed at each other before moving their gaze away as they made disgusted expressions.
[Odin will now send you to your first world! Remember, You have to find one another once you go to that world!] Odin explained before he clapped two times and everything went black for both of them.
