54 [Zerg Arc 02]: The Crown of First Kings

Lance's mind returned from the memories, his eyes averting contact as his cheeks flushed. 

He appeared flustered, as though he had lost focus when he gazed into Terence's eyes. 

Tugging nervously at the hem of his shirt, he attempted to appear composed.

"No, it's nothing," he stammered, though his blushing face betrayed his true emotions.

Terence regarded him with an amused and gentle laugh, leaning in to plant a courteous kiss on Lance's cheek,

 "It would be my greatest honour if you saw me and lost your mind," he whispered.

Lance's thoughts were an open book, his gaze a mix of irritation and shyness. 

The sounds of nothing but nature and the gradually tilting moon accompanied their moment together.

However, Lance glanced towards his house, unease creeping into his expression,

 "I've been out for a long time. It would be terrible if the father finds out that I'm not in my bedroom. I have to go back."
