4 World Creation: World Systems

Back inside the portal Suou was met with a lovely surprise. Not only did the system do what he asked, but it even went overboard!

"(Ding), System booting. Welcome, World God. Starter Town Progress. Complete! Fields generated with low level monsters. Complete!"

That's how it came to his knowledge that the system wasn't just a brainless computer. It seemed to have enhanced the version of the town he wanted. The starter town was small in size with a population of at least a thousand non player characters.

Everything was in perfect detail, showing signs of perfection. That in itself was the problem.

Suou nodded, "Alright! I want to make a few adjustments. Let's create some poverty with a quarter of the non player characters. Put some run down and abandoned buildings as well. And add a small area called the slums. Its a place for criminals and those without homes."

The more realistic, the better.

"System Notification: Granted! Poverty created successfully! Slums created successfully!"

After some tweaks here and there, the town looked a lot more realistic. Suou added the basic of jobs for all the villages. There was a blacksmith, a tavern, a place to eat, a manor for a lord, and many more.

Other things will be mentioned later. As of now, Suou had to come up with a currency before adding things that could be sold or bought. Not just currency alone, but how currency is created, cut, and graded. Even the different types of ores and gems that can be discovered in the world

He had made sure to write down all that applies while he was at the library that day. To begin, currency in his world will be called Shanz. He had to explain to the system how Shanz is used and what different ores and gems are being used as currency.

"In the Ailai Continent, generate a dozen types of mines in random locations. Make sure there are mostly bronze, iron, and silver in each mine. Don't put too much gold. Then create a total of six Gem mines ranging from an abundant amount of Crystal to a rare amount of Amethyst. Also in random locations. Can you do that, System?" He asked.

"System Notification: Generating six ore mines in the Ailai Continent. Success! Six Gem mines consisting of Crystal, Sapphire, Diamond, Ruby, Opal, Jade, and Amethyst. One or two of the six mines may have three of the cheaper gems. Successfully generated!"

Looking at the map, Suou could tell more things were added. Though there were only three locations that were set far apart from each other. He did notice something was a bit off.

"System if I wanted to travel to the other starter town, how long will it take me by foot?" He asked.

"System: Answer. The journey will take three days by foot."

That explains it. "I want to move them further away from each other. Make the journey three days by horse, and six days by foot."

"System Notification: Moving two of the starter towns further from the others. Completed!"

He can see the difference on the map.

"System. Create the currency Shanz into the world. Whenever new Non player characters are made, they will instantly have this information."

"System Notification: Currency, Shanz, successfully created!"

Here Suou will explain more about the currency and how it's used.

Currency Notes: low to high amount.

Bronze Coin: is the same as 5 pennies = 5 Shanz

Iron Coin: is the same as fifty dollar bill = 50 Shanz

Silver Coin: is the same as 5 twenty dollar bills = 100 Shanz

Gold Coin: is the same as five 100 bills = 500 Shanz

Crystal Coin - An all white coin = 1,000 Shanz

Sapphire Coin - An all purple coin with the design of a castle = 5,000 Shanz

Emerald Coin - An all green coin with the design of a castle = 10,000 Shanz

Cut-Diamond - small clear diamond cut to perfection = 50,000 Shanz

Cut-Ruby - Small red ruby cut to perfection = 100,000 Shanz

Colored-Opal Bead - mixed color bead fined to perfection = 500,000 Shanz

Polished Jade - A green rock-like gem cut down to size = 1,000,000 Shanz

Polished Amethyst - pea-sized amethyst carefully cut and shaped professionally = 5,000,000 Shanz

This information was logged into the world. Since currency was finished, next was the Ranking System.

He decided to go with the usual ranking system adding a few ranks that were rare in most fantasy worlds.

Starting from the lowest to the highest ranks. Ranks appear only in Guilds, dungeons, demons, and Monsters.

With guilds, the highest rank to reach is SS-Rank. For naturally formed dungeons, they won't exceed SSS-rank. But it's different for a Realm-based dungeon. Since they can range from the lowest H-rank to the highest God-Rank.

As for monsters and demons, they have a rank and a level depending on their race type. Like a slime can only go up to rank-F with a level capped at five. It's a pretty weak monster, but that also depends on the person.

Or a demon can range from the lowest F rank to the highest God Rank with a cap level of 9999.

Suou had the system implement the ranking system breaking it down in ways the system understood.

Next he added the leveling system, unlike the ranking system the leveling system applies to humans, demi-humans, and monsters.

"System Notification: Both Ranking System and Leveling System, successfully created. Information logged into the world database. Successful!"

Most of the tasks he wrote was implemented into the world. The only things left was adding the Grading system for items and equipment.

Items and equipment will not have a ranking system and instead will have a color-coded grading system.

Suou decided to go with the following colors in his grading system, ranging from lowest to highest.

White- Common Grade - items and equipment aren't special in any way with hardly any durability. Items have only a couple of uses and weapons have low durability and can only be used so many times. Can be bought at low prices and are commonly dropped.

Grey- Uncommon Grade - a step up from common grade. Items and equipment have higher durability with more use duration. Along with a tougher durability, Uncommon Grade items and equipment will most likely have special attributes attached to them. Can be bought at low prices and are uncommonly dropped.

Red- Rare Grade - Items and equipment have better durability than common and uncommon grade items and equipment. Duration also last a lot longer than the two grades combined. Items and equipment will have one or more special attribute attached. A bit more costly and has a thirty percent chance drop rate.

Yellow- Unique Grade - items and equipment have a rare chance of breaking. Duration of use are much longer than average. Always has attributes attached. Most likely more than two to four attributes. Cannot be bought easily, ways to obtain are quest-related or obtained through special events. Drop rate is at least ten percent. Unique grade weapons can be bought and sold at auctions.

Purple- Legendary Grade - items and equipment have tougher durability and longer duration use. Attributes are more special that can add lasting effects to person involved. Cannot be bought easily, ways to obtain are quest-related or obtained through special events. Can be found in high ranking dungeons. It's possible for a high level dragon or demon to drop. Can be bought and sold in an auction.

Blue- Magic Grade - items and equipment has a longer lasting use and duration speed is longer. Has magical attributes and other special attributes attached. There are no drop rates. Can only be found in high ranking dungeons. Can also retrieve Magic grade equipment in story quests that are S rank or above. Very expensive and bought and sold in auctions.

Black- Godly Grade - Items and equipment can never be broken and has an unlimited duration use. Attributes are magic based and special based. Can hold four to six attributes. These are items that are hard to come across. There are no drop rates. Can be found only in an Ex-rank or God Rank realm-based dungeon. Very expensive and a chance of it appearing in an auction is extremely low as not many people would sell them.

"System. Please implement this Grading System into the world." Suou says.

"System Notification: Grading System generating. Successful. Would the World God like to add the weapon and item System as well?"

"That's right. Be sure to randomize grades of each item and weapon equally." Suou added.

"(Ding!), The World God has leveled up. Successfully implemented a basic World System. Additional Information added, does the World God wish to review?"

"Yes, I'll take a look!" He answered enthusiastically.

"System Notification: The World God wishes to review Stat Panel. Please have a look."
