World Fall Federation

The year was 2468 when World Fall began. Earth was transformed by humans as technology increased to beyond all logical levels. Common day appliances would seem like magic to the people a few hundred years before. As humans progressed, however, an energy wave appeared and spread all across the planet.

The energy wave crashed through the technology, all of it stopped working. It caused panic and riots all over the world. The governments of every nation was struggling to control its people. It was during the chaos that the the alien species, known as the Daemons, revealed themselves to the human population. The Daemons had explained that their appearance had caused the energy surge, as the solar system was disconnected form the energy that controlled the rest of the system. Instead, the humans unites and this began a hundred year long war between the Daemons and the humans. It was during this war that the humans reset the time and the era became known as the Post change era.

It want very long into the war that the humans started to realize that the Daemons were more advanced in technology then then, as all of their technology was destroyed, and their bodies were stronger. During this time, humans began to develop ability that would allow them to fight off the invading Daemons. These abilities could be awakened during a ceremony once they reach the age of 16. The humans began to send all the 16 year old children to military schools to learn how to use their powers properly to fight off the Daemons. With the introduction of these powers, human civilization was recreated in this new world the strong eat the weak. The war heroes that were powerful developed strong families and clans that ruled over the human race. These people would gain wealth and power and dominate everyone without either. To anger someone from one of these families meant that your family would be executed unless yours had similar power or wealth.

Over a century of war, human technology was able to developed again due to the salvaged parts from the Daemon technology. Once they beat back the Daemons, the humans continued to develop and grow in power. Instead of defending, they grew their power and began to colonize all over the galaxy. The humans formed a new galactic government that was dubbed the World Fall Federation, in memory of the Daemon invasion, but most called it the Federation.

The planets that were colonized allowed the humans' population to grow to unimaginable size, with technology allowing for more then 100 billion people living on a planet similar to Earth in size. Because of the large galactic population, competition between planets under human colonization became important for the gathering of materials and promise of a better future for the planet inhabitants. If a genius on one planet rose to power, that planet would receive wealth and resources from the humans' galactic government. The genius would also rise in the military and make a name for themselves in the empire until they become like the original clans and families that led the empire to power.

As the humans attempted to colonize the galaxy, small wars and skirmishes were fought for the Federation. Anyone who had a battle capable ability would be drafted into the federation's military, with talent as the decider on who can rise in ranks and prominence. One would discover what their ability was either through an expensive test usually reserved to the noble clans and families, or wait until they reach the Power Energy Collection Realm, or Collection Realm. Most people, however, are never able to reach this realm without talent or resources, something that only the rich noble clans and families were able to get. Talent was random for the most part, but it was believed to be genetic so many talented people were from the already powerful family. Although talent was genetic, the power one received was all based on luck, though researchers have found similarities of personalities in people with similar powers. For instance, someone with a fire ability will usually have an aggressive and temperamental personality, while someone with an ice ability will be cold and serious. Of course this finding is not an all size fits all situations as outliers are constantly found, but this situation is common belief among all organizations and government.
