15 Magic state

After taking a look at his status window Ethan closed it and lean against the tree trunk although he was not injured he still feel tired after the fight.

While resting he thought about the wind aura he used and could not help but shake his head

"I am still far from using it properly" although it looks like he used the skill pretty well there were many issues with the way he used the skill.

First, even though he become more proficient in using his mana he still can't use his wind aura for a long time because he wastes too much mana during it, Ethan knew that if he can use his mana properly he will be able to use his wind aura for a longer time.

During the fight against the steel bear, Ethan didn't want to use his wind aura because currently, it consumes too much mana, and if he ran out of mana during his fight it will be a fatal mistake even if he will not die he knew he will be injured seriously.

After thinking about all this Ethan closed his eyes and started to rest but when he closed his eyes he found that he can sense the surrounding wind more clearly than before, Ethan didn't know why suddenly he can sense the surrounding wind more clearly but he tried to take control of the surrounding wind and to his surprise, he can control the wind more easily than before.

Not only he can control the wind more easily, but he can also sense the surrounding area more clearly with the help of the wind. Ethan opened his eyes and made a wind blade, he shot the wind blade towards a tree the wind blade cut the tree and didn't stop there and hit the second tree that was behind the first tree.

Ethan was shocked by what just happened, no he was not shocked by the power of the wind blade but he was shocked because the mana expenditure for the wind blade was lower than before and its power increased instead of decreasing.

Ethan can understand that the power of a skill depends on how much mana you use and the amount of your magic power since his magic power reached 100 point mark it was normal that his attack power will increase, than what about the other things Ethan couldn't understand why suddenly he can sense the surrounding wind more clearly and control his mana more properly.

" Could it be that the magic state not only increases the attack power but it also helps you to control your mana more properly along with your skill"

Although Ethan was not sure about this but he can't find another reason why he can control the mana more properly.

Suddenly a thought came to Ethan's mind, that normally magic increases the attack power but when it reaches a certain mark it also helps you to control your mana and skill more properly.

In Ethan's case, his magic state just reached the mark of 100 points 'could it be that when my magic points will reach the 200 points mark my mana control and skill control will improve once again'.

Ethan become excited after thinking about it he was having problem because of his mana control but he just got a path that can help him control his mana and skill more perfectly.

" I have to kill more powerful beasts from now on so that I can level up even faster" Ethan decided to rest some time and go hunting once again after resting.

After killing the steel bear his states improved greatly and his mana and skill control also become more efficient.

Ethan was sure that if he have to fight against the steel bear once again he can kill it more easily not only his mana and magic increased after the fight, but his strength also increased by a good margin reaching 50 points he was sure that with his current strength he can kill steal bear more easily.

After resting for one hour Ethan climb down from the tree and headed inside the dark forest once again he was going in a different direction than before because he don't want to meet that angry bear currently although he become more powerful than before he is not stupid enough to think that he can defeat a rank one magic beast with his current power.

"But it will be different soon even if that bear is rank one I will be able to fight with rank one magic beasts soon enough" if other people hear what Ethan was saying they will think that Ethan is being arrogant because it is very hard to kill a rank one magic beast while being unranked, but Ethan's thoughts are different he is not being arrogant he is just saying what he feels.

Why is he fighting the higher-level magic beast, if he wants he can easily kill the lower-level magic beast and his level will still improve but he just doesn't want to level up by killing low-level magic beasts although his level will improve if he kills the low-level magic beast, he knew that his existence level will not improve much by killing the low-level magic beast.

The higher your states are the higher your existence will be, let's say someone killed a low-level magic beast the states he will gain from it will depend on the power difference between the two parties, and since the power difference between the magic beast and the person who killed it was minimal he will gain a very low amount of state point.

Just like when Ethan killed the sky eagle he received a very low amount of state points by killing it compare to the steel bear and forest Tiger.

And when you think that you will first level up by killing low-level magic beasts and start killing higher-level magic beasts when your level increases you will not get any benefit from it.

Suppose you reach level 20 by killing low-level magic beasts and then you started to hunt magic beasts whose level is around 24 or 25 although they are high level the difference between your level and the beast's level is not much so you will just receive a small amount of state point and everyone know that there is a limit on how much state you can gain from killing magic beast at the same level or little higher than you.

Although currently Ethan is just level 11 he is sure that if he kills a magic beast whose level is lower than 15 he will not receive any state points because his existence is already higher than theirs.

After walking for some time Ethan finally saw a magic beast when he looked at it a smile appeared on his face.
