4 Chapter 2 - Arena Scheme Method
"The best place would have to be the gun shop as since I don't have enough strength yet I need to find a way to hit its eyes and I will be able to gain power without even killing it"
Finn headed towards the guns and looked over to the guns and decided on an HK416 and desert eagle and found gun holders and strapped them on
"Who would have known it would feel so good to steal"
Even with the HK416, the reason for the desert eagle was for a very special purpose that would be needed... to kill others
It could easily be found out that humans would betray others to survive and he might even though the same
After looking for a practice target he found a small gargoyle-like creature he shot loaded the bullets and took some time to aim and prepared and looked through the scope and
Bang. It shot and he bullet started coming but the bullet was smashed by a last-second turn by the monster and he missed and it started running after him
Finn felt every part of his body to run but he was completely neutralized in fear and couldn't move at all
He looked at his gun and took out a bullet and smashed it and threw the broken metal and gunpower at the monsters face and ran away as fast as he could back into the shop
"One-shot, missing something like that would kill me and that monster was one of the weakest, trash left behind and I barely escaped how am I going to live in the future"
He went back and decided to try just shooting instead of killing and picked out a Barret M82 sniper rifle and found a building with a nice sniper positioning and looked around
"5 at about 3km to the north, 3 at about 2km to the west, 7 at about 5km to the south, and 2 about 1km to the east"
The east was almost the most ideal area for him and aimed towards the stronger monster and shot
Bang. This time he hit but something happened the big monster started attacking the smaller monster and the fought until the smaller lived because of the injury to the other but it still died from excessive bleeding
"Did the monster misinterpret my attack and think it was caused by the other monster"
He tried it again on the monsters towards the west and they fought and he then the remaining monster was weak enough to be finished by Finn
"Wouldn't this be a little op if I could use this to take out the monsters and take their blood to power myself up"
That was the day the Arena Scheming Method was created and after doing this for the North and South area it felt almost too easy like using a cheat code in a game
"With this much, I can probably start fighting physically and explore more areas"
After absorbing all the blood and cooking/eating the meat he decided to go to the store and then the hospital he had passed before
After arriving at the store he noticed that this was not actually a store but a police station but most of it was destroyed and after looking around there wasn't much to see but on his way out there was a flashbang near the door and kept it for safety
The hospital would be the next area as it would contain medicine to heal injuries quicker when on the run
After going into the hospital his face went pale as his heart started beating faster as he saw a sight he might never forget
Multiple bodies of monsters he would never dream of being able to beat and all of them lay dead and the way it looked like they each had taken only one hit
"What kind of devil could do this?"
He hurried to leave the area and saw that there was suddenly a trail of blood and he hadn't even been that long here but the monster had killed most likely more than 2000 monsters as he saw what happened and saw the clouds show one straight line
"It seems like it can fly as well and have already left"
The entire night Finn could not sleep or even move he would only shiver with each passing second and had felt like he entered what hell looked like
When the morning came he started training extra and took more risks than usual and looked at the situation of the world after a long time
"It seems as people are gathering at US or Asia as all other areas were already wiped out and they started to grade the power of monsters and superhuman, people who have absorbed the blood of a monster"
For the monsters, they were ranked from least to greatest
-Normal
-Expert
-Hell
-Death
-Abyss
-Devil
-Void
For void their power was unfathomable and only 1 appearance has been made and that one killed 3 billion people by its self in a mere 2 days
Also, the rankings or stages for superhumans were
-Basic
-Master
-King
-Legend
-Archangel
-God
Each time someone reached a new rank they would have a massive power up and the rank is decided after using the same formula to decide ranks for the monsters as a hell rank could kill about 9 expert rank
This was because ranking up meant surpassing a limit and would be the hardest part
After looking over there were no Master rank or above yet and Finn himself was only midway to half of Master and the strongest is currently only a forth away from Master but as you go up it becomes harder
Finn needed to become stronger after seeing yesterday's event and the news about today
He used the Arena Scheme Method for the next 2 weeks and trained with the dagger and also checked his shooting skills
After about a month Finn was a fifth away from Master and also the first Master level superhuman was revealed to be an 18-year-old girl which made him really pissed
"$%#^%!"
Finn realized that he still was not fast enough and thought he would have to go for more risks and leave to another area with more monsters and decided on Manhatten, New York as It had become deserted after Hell rank monsters started coming in and taking over but he could not defeat hell rank
His real goal was to kill the normal and few expert rank monsters that had to flee to the suburbs near it
It took him about 32 hours to reach there excluding the times he took breaks to train and kill monsters
After reaching there he found a house that was in good condition and had used it as a base for now
Taking out his sniper he looked around and saw his first target and shot
Bang. He got a shot right at the eye and he was gotten better at his shots and was able to make quick work of the monster
After fighting for a while he found something strange
"Where are the expert rank monsters"
Finn looked around and still could not find any and after a while, the normal monsters started disappearing and he came back and saw a trail of blood leading towards the intersection between the suburbs and the city
When he got there he saw massive amounts of bodies and questioned what did this
"Could it be a hell rank monster coming, wait no because it looks like it had trouble fighting"
Then a thought came to his mind
"An expert rank at the peak and on its way towards hell-rank"
His face had the work shock all over it because if a hell-rank appeared then he would die no exception and it would chase him since he is the only one left in the area
He had only one choice and that was to kill it or fatally injuring it so it can't come after him if he ran
But either way, he was going to have one heck of a fight and this would also be a challenge to Finn to see if he had what it takes to survive in this kind of world

Hello everyone and the chapter was most likely not that good compared to what I will have later but this is most likely due to the fact that I barely got much sleep yesterday because I had to do a ton of last-minute studying and eyes feel so dead and I really need some sleep but other than that please give a review, comment, and replies
I am so pissed with Grammarly today because it keeps showing things that don't need to be changed and I was so mad I almost made by character start cussing in the novel and when I right Grammarly it says to capital and in my mind I just think, !%#$%!#$
