Ch. 23
"Hey, hey, did you hear? The upcoming mission is gonna be a full-scale battle, but we're lucky to be in the rear guard," said one of the students talking to a group of the other students behind Sheila. The cadets have been tasked with staying at the rear guard and ensuring the safety of the rear guard while the main group of Einjards will take the fight head-on. This would be a very dangerous and challenging mission, but they feel confident and determined in their roles.
"Sheilaaa!! What are you doing? " Said Aiko asking while hugging her from behind.
"N-no it's nothing.. "
It sure looks like this mission would be just as deadly as the previous ones, if not more. This time, however, the cadets were charged with protecting and guarding the rearguard, so they won't get exposed to as much danger as before.
But still, despite their roles and safety of being at the rear guard, they should never let their guard down or they could lose their lives and the mission would most certainly fail. The students must stay alert and ready at all times and not underestimate the danger of the enemy forces, no matter what role they are given.
"I- im just worried about this mission. I might have already trained as hard as I can, but I'm still worried of what will happen." Sheila said expressing her fear and concern for the mission, despite the fact that she has trained and prepared for it.
"Yes... I know that feeling, me too.. I didn't want to lose my friends again that's why I try to be strong as I can"
"Aiko you don't understand... I've got a strange feeling, it's looks like something bad would happened. " Sheila said further expressing her worried.
"I know.. That's why we should take care each other when the times come"
"Believe me.. As long we still stick together, we could made it out alive.. returns to the one we loved."
After hearing this, Sheila could only nod in agreement, she know there's nothing she could do at the moment knowing she also need to find the cure for her little brother.
A few days ago, Dr. Milley came to see Sheila, informing her that she needed samples of the enemy's Alpha's blood in order to find a cure for her little brother.
She asks if she can help him and she agrees, unsure of how it will go but that's the only way she know I'n order to save her little brother. It's bugging her mind so much that she keep asking herself " Can I even do it? "

After a while inside of the classroom.
Lady Saturn walks into the classroom with her briefcase and begins a brief briefing on the mission that will be held in just three days' time.
"According to missions that given toward the cadet, we will begin our operation at dawn to recapture the (A)riendiel district, the enemies would be vary and many, so please be prepared. "
"Your job at this mission's is to secure/defend the (A)riendiel district when the main armies already secured the area. And afterwards they will heading towards the surface, at that times we will begin to activate the mechanism defense until the armies head back to the town"
"Any questions? "
"Teacher? What would we do after activiting the defense mechanism? I know the surface was very dangerous, but how long we will wait for them to return exactly? " Said Yuki asking something that might be rude but realistic.
"It's 2 days, that's how long we will wait for them, after that the headquarters would close down the ways for them to return. Let's hope for the best of them"
"Any more question?"
"No mam!!! " The cadets said together in synchronicity.
"Okay!! Let's head towards the training field, we will train your Einjards battle compatibility for these 2 days"

In the large training field that spread about 15km, all of the cadets are gathering around to training their Einjards coordination in order to increase their compatibility and teamwork.
The atmosphere is tense but lively, with each Valkryie and Paladin putting their best effort into their training. The instructors are leading the Einjards on a combination of individual and team exercises, as well as simulated combat scenarios. They are focused on honing their skills and creating a strong bond with their partners, so that they can fight more effectively together in the heat of battle.
Sheila who being partner with Zel, the only paladin that could be her partner were looking at each other not knowing what to do because it's their first time to training together.
Behind them, there's also Yuki, flo, Angela, and Aiko with their respective partners. This is the first time Sheila see them with their partners, it's looks like they close with their partners than she thought.
"Sheila... Do you had your crystal? " Lady Saturn said asking the thing she gave her a few day ago.
"Yes teachers.. I have it in my pocket"
"Good.. Now take it out and hold it while thingking something precious"
After hearing this, Sheila stares at the crystal in thought. She is thinking about her family, her little brothers, and her treasured friends. She cares so much for them and would do anything to protect them. She is determined to do well on this mission because she knows she could protect them.
"Close your eyes.. Listen to me, It might be hurt.. But please bear the pain, keep thingking about them.." Lady Saturn said while trying to put Zel hand towards Sheila hands.
"Said this words " Einjards Engage! "
"EINJARDS ENGAGE! "
Suddenly, in a flash, a liquid unidentified form appears and covers Sheila's body. It shines brightly, enveloping her like she was a messenger of an angel. The form flows quickly, covering her body and changing her appearance in the process.
At first, she felt a warm feeling from within, as if her body was being surrounded by something comforting and soothing. However, the warmth continued to grow and grow until it felt like she was burning from the inside out, as if she was being consumed by an intense heat. The warmth is becoming unbearable and she is almost unable to withstand it. The pain is only getting stronger as the heat continues to build inside her body.
"AAAAAAHHH!" Sheila screams out in agony as the warm liquid overtakes her entire body.
She can't hold back her cries and screams of pain anymore as the agony she feels is becoming unbearable. The warm liquid continues to cover her body and the pain keeps growing stronger inside her.
After a while, the intense pain suddenly vanishes without any warning or sign. Sheila looks around her bodies, to find that she is suddenly inside an Einjards cockpit.
"What is this? " Sheila said asking herself.
"Wow so this is Einjards" Zel said mesmerizing himself at the sight.
Sheila looks around at everyone's reaction to her new appearance as they stare at her. They all seem mesmerized by her menacing looking black jet Einjard. The transformation appears to have been a success and they can't seem to take their eyes off her. Especially Flo and Angela who completely loved her Einjards appearance.
"A claw? " Sheila said while waving her hand towards the sky.
