"I need a distraction," Khaleel admitted. "Five days might be enough," he muttered to himself. "She'll be back by that time. She should be…"

Khaleel was already aware that distraction was not that useful because somehow, in some way— He was reminded of everything about her. But hunting earlier, made him not think of her, which made him conclude that going on a hunt with Beore would help him not think of her as well.

Khaleel was desperate, he did not know what was happening to him. He was not sure how to handle these feelings.

Cain heard Khaleel but he had no idea what Khaleel was talking about.

Clearly, Khaleel was not ill…
