7 CHAPTER 7
Seeing that she's in trouble, Leanda tries to save herself from Dominick, by fighting with him to take back the gun in her hold.
Dominick fights back with Leanda and forcefully pushes her hard against the door of the factory.
Leanda bumped her head hard on the door, but quickly gains her stance when she saw Dominick holding her gun.
He points it at her and opens fire.
Terrified, Leanda bends down quickly and runs away from that spot. Hearing the sound of the bullet, firing at the door.
She almost shrieked out at this, but maintained her cool and ran over to the other side of the factory, before Dominick gets her.
"All these time, I never knew that you of all people will one day stand before me with a gun to kill me. I thought you were a good lady Leanda!" Dominick roared, making his way to the side of the factory where Leanda had run off to.
He moves there, pointing the gun quickly. Thinking he'll see Leanda and shoot her down. But she wasn't there.
"We were friends Leanda. What made you choose this path? Is it because of money? Did you choose to be a killer for money or what?" Dominick questioned, still looking around for Leanda.
He moves closer to a barrel and checks it. But he doesn't see Leanda inside. He wonders where she had hidden herself.
"You know I care about you Leanda. I have never wished you harm. You can come out and tell me the reason why you want to kill me. I promise not to hurt you," Dominick assured Leanda. Still moving around and searching for her.
He comes across a pile of boxes and barrels at the end of the factory. He held the gun close and moved closer to it.
"Just tell me why you want to kill me. I might be able to help you. We can talk about this like always," Dominick said, moving closer to the box piled on barrels, slowly.
He noticed movement from behind the barrels and suspected that Leanda was there, away from him.
Seeing more movements, Dominick stood straight and points at the barrel where the movement was taking place.
He said, "Leanda, you can tell me who sent you to harm me. I promise I'll pay you whatever amount you've been given. You know you said you need money to take care of your father's illness. If you do take me to the one that sent you, I promise you'll get whatever you need."
He moved closer to the barrel.
Seeing no response from Leanda, Dominick gets mad. He points the gun at the barrel, and shoots it three times in rage.
As soon as he shot the third bullet, a dog fell out from behind the barrel. Leaving Dominic stunned that it wasn't Leanda.
"Damn it! Leanda! Where are you?!" Dominick roared in anger. Heading for the back of the factory.
The moment he stepped to the back, a large plank came hitting him across the face and sending him to the ground.
Dominick fell down hard, with his hands on his face. The gun had fallen off his grip.
Leanda, who had just attacked him, dropped the plank and rushed to get the gun.
Before her hand could reach it, Dominick grabbed her by the legs and pulled her down. Sending her falling to the ground.
Leanda landed her head hard on the ground, before feeling her legs being pulled back by Dominick.
"No!" She screamed while trying to get the gun. But she couldn't.
She felt herself being turned around by Dominick. Who punches Leanda hard to the face with a blow.
Leanda groaned on feeling the first impact. The second came, almost knocking her out cold.
Leanda felt her heart pounding in fear, as she couldn't fight Dominick back. He was way stronger than her and had the upper hand against her.
Even when she managed to grab his hand and bite it with her teeth, Dominick groaned and used his other hand to hit her in the head.
But it didn't stop Leanda from fighting.
She thought about her father and the reward Diego has promised to give her in exchange for Dominick's life.
All Leanda could think of is her father and his health.
"I need to save father no matter what. I want him to get better again. And no one will stand in my way," She decided.
Determined, Leanda grabbed Dominick's hand again and bit the same spot she had bitten before. Causing pains to Dominick.
When Dominick tried to use his other hand to hit Leanda, the desperate lady, took out her dagger and stabbed Dominick's hand.
"ARGH!" Dominick yelled out in pain. Squeezing the bleeding hand that dropped blood on Leanda's face.
Seeing this, Leanda grabbed a big stone from the ground and bashed it right on Dominick's head. Sending him falling off her.
Dominick fell to the ground. He couldn't attend to both hand and head at the same time. All he wanted to do was to get rid of the one who's trying to kill him.
As he lifted his head to face Leanda, she bashed the stone once again on his head. Sending Dominick face flat once more.
Furious, Leanda pulled the dagger off Dominick's dismantled hand roughly, and stabbed him right across the chest multiple times.
She screamed out in rage as she stabbed him non stop.
But the moment she stopped, Leanda's eyes came opened.
Dominick is dead. She has killed him.
Seeing how his dead body stared at her with all his body covered in blood, Leanda cried out.
Moving away from Dominick and straight to a corner.
"What have I done? What have I done?!" She cried out. Holding herself as she stared at Dominick's lifeless body.
Leanda couldn't stop crying. She has killed someone for the first time, all because she wants to save her father.
She buried her face on the earth and cried out loudly. Not knowing what to do.

At the mansion, Diego is waiting patiently for a feedback from Leanda.
He sensed that Leanda won't kill Dominick, since they're both friends. He assumed that she must have helped him escape or something.
"They're both friends after all. They work for the same boss. I'm sure she told that bastard to run away, so she won't have to kill him. Whether she likes it or not, she..."
Just then, Diego is interrupted by the sight of Leanda. Her cloth stained with blood, as well as her face.
He smiles in delight, as she walked up to him and dropped both gun and dagger on the table.
"It's...it's done," She stammered out. Unable to look at Diego in the eyes.
