I know I can not hide.

Living in fear,

Never smiling ear to ear.

Lost forever, never to be remembered.

Waking up with sweats,

Struggling to breath no matter how hard you try.

Every moment lived playing over in your head on repeat.

Wishing you could have done things different.

Counting the seconds before it's all over.

As you slowly drift away.

Ashes to ashes, dust to dust as they say.

as I fall inside the black, the only thing I hear is the stroke of my lungs producing my last breath.
