CH: 22 MY GIRLFRIEND

I reached the library and was in the parking area where I saw Krystal. She was also parking her cycle. I saw her and something interesting came in my mind. I shouted playfully, "Hey! GIRLFRIEND." And she startled as I saw her shoulders twitch a bit due to my words, she looked at my way. I ran towards her and said, "Hey! Girlfriend, when did you arrive?" she didn't reply so I looked at the face and noticed she was blushing, her cheeks were all red. "Hey! Are you blushing, girlfriend?" I spoke and those words brought her back. She glared at me and within a minute hit my head hard and said, "Stop fooling around, you fool."

"Hey! Don't call me that I'm your boyfriend; you can't say this to your boyfriend?" and rubbed my head.

"Stop nagging around there is no one here. And what's with the girlfriend shit? Don't call me that. Do you understand? " She said raising her hand again but didn't hit me and turned to lock her cycle and then started heading towards library hall. Her footsteps were very fast.

"Hey! Wait I wanted to ask something to you." I shouted at her but she didn't stop and I ran behind her as she was already at the gate when I finished locking my cycle, I again shouted, "Hey! Wait." Finally, she stopped and looked at me, I ran towards her and asked panting, "But till when I have to act as your boyfriend?"

"Just for one month, or until I found a new one." She said and flicked her hairs back which were falling on her face again and again.

"But who will be your boyfriend, I mean how will you find one?" I said making a joke of her again.

"Hey! I think yesterday's beating wasn't enough for you." She said and made a cracking sound from her neck and hands. I instantly replied "Sorry ... sorry I was just kidding girlfriend.", and moved a few steps back.

"will you stop calling me that, there is no one around us?" she said but I was not in a mood to stop so I said" what are you talking about girlfriend, what else a boyfriend will call his girlfriend?" she shook her head in faking frustration and went inside. I walked behind her and went straight in the washroom to change into my uniform. I walked outside the washroom when I saw a boy nagging around Krystal and was irritating her, I knew it because I could see Krystal's face which was really telling that she wanted to beat her, but it was not allowed to do any violence during work hours and if she could do that she would've send that guy to hospital by now, as she was a black belt in "Judo"

I went near her and said to Krystal, "who is this guy? Is he troubling you?" and looked at the guy who was now looking at me too. I trailed my eyes up and down on his body as if to inspect him. And when I was finished Krystal whispered, "He is that guy I told you about." "Oh! So you are the one who is nagging and irritating my girlfriend right?" I said as soon as I heard her saying that.

"First of all she is not your girlfriend and second thing whatever I do with her it's between me and her because we are soon going to be girlfriend and boyfriend, do you understand? Otherwise it won't bring good to you" he said in n annoyed voice, and gave me a death glare.

"Whoa man! Don't think I'm afraid of you" I held his collar and said, "Don't underestimate me just because I'm at a workplace doesn't mean I won't do any harm to you, I am not afraid to get fired until and unless my girlfriend is safe." And went near his face and said "it will be good for you to leave as soon as possible otherwise it won't bring good to you" a sarcasm was clearly felt in my voice.

"Mason, please stay away from him." I heard a voice that belonged to Krystal. I loosened my grip from his collar and patted it to remove the wrinkle, "you better don't come her next time because if you are seen here you would be very regretful."

"Don't try to warn me you little rascal do you even know who I am?" he replied to me and a smirk formed on his face. I laughed a bit seeing his face and said, "I don't care who you are, just leave or I call the security?"

He then turned away and left without even saying a word and we both took a deep breath of relaxation. She looked at me and patted my shoulder and I got a bit startled because I was still thinking about what happened right then. "Whoa! Man, what a guy, you really have some fan following." I smiled at her in a sarcastic way. She this time hit me on my shoulder and said, "You don't deserve my praising you are a pure stupid guy" I then made a pout and went back to work. I was so indulged in work and had earphones plugged in my ears. I was not in a mood to look at those readers who don't do anything other than reading and shushing others when someone made any kind of voice.

At first, I didn't want to work here as it was so boring but then Krystal helped me settle myself here and gave me a company, here and the other thing was that the salary here was pretty good. I was arranging the books on the shelves, helping others to find their books and picking up the books which their readers left on the desk only. The creepiest thing in the library was to tackle those punks who took a chance and start making out in the library, and don't control their screams and moans.

I just strolled here and there when I dint had any work to do and read some books which seem interesting to me. As we were the workers we were permitted to read few books we want to. I once read a book here which was really great and the stupidest thing was I didn't even check its name, it was really great.

I was doing my work when someone patted my shoulder and I turned back and saw a guy with icy hairs and a tall stature and as soon as I saw him and realized that he was none other than Eddie. I blinked twice before I confirmed that he was Eddie only. He spoke first and said "what are you doing here?" and gave me a smile

"Actually I work here, what about you what are you doing here I never saw you here?" I asked as I raised my eyebrow and he again smiled at me and said, "I'm here with my cousin sister. She wanted to borrow some novels so I came here with her.", and pointed at a girl who was checking out some books there.

"I came here as I realized it was you and wanted to ask you that how is Jacob now?, I got to know he is living at your house" I nodded in and agreement and said, "he is good now, are you not in contact with hyung, I mean why are you asking me are you not talking with him."

"No! it's not like that it's just that in the past few days whenever I contacted him he just replies to me that he is busy and can't talk." He said and a look of disappointment crept on his face. I made an "O" from my mouth in realization and nodded my head.

"When will he join the work?" he asked and I remembered that he told me that he will join the work "maybe day after tomorrow as he said he wanted to take a rest."

"Oh! Just tell him that whenever he gets free just give me a call I have some work from him." He said and looked at me "oh! I will ask him to do that" I replied and he politely bent and, said me a formal thanks. Even though I saw him as a clumsy person plus I hate it every time whenever Jacob talked about him but what I see right now he is a very gentle and sweet person. He smiles at everyone and makes everyone feel comfortable with him and he is quite helpful too.

I then continued my work and again plugged in my earphones. It was about the time to leave when I fished arranging the last stack of books. I went to the washroom to change my uniform and after I did that I ran towards Krystal's seat and waited for her to finish her work. She was almost done too. She saved her files and shut down the computer after picking her some stuff.

We walked to the parking area together and then we separated our way. I was paddling to my home when a group of boys circled around me and started horning with their bikes; they were all wearing black helmets and had some hockey, baseball bats in their bag that was attached to their motorbikes. I wasn't afraid but I was a bit confused that who they were? But I tried to ignore their presence and continued to paddle but they didn't move a bit and didn't give me a way to go.

"Hey! Can you get aside please I have to go home?" I spoke expecting that they would listen but they didn't and then a man in front of me removed his helmet and said " you really think you can go out of her." And when I heard that voice I realized it was a bit familiar. I couldn't see his face due to lack of light but I guessed that he was the guy from the library. I raised my voice a bit and said, "just go away don't play silly tricks here with me I'm so tired and come again later. I will play with you later." And made my way to leave when my back got attacked with something like a bat and I fell straight on the ground.

"What the fuck," I shouted as the pain went through my spine. I somehow stood up my back hurt like hell, I went near the guy who attacked me and landed my fist on his face and shouted, "Didn't you heard my words? I will play this silly game with you later." And again punched his face, but within a second the other members got up their bikes and brought their sticks near me. Slowly, fear started growing in my body I was really afraid at that moment because I was alone and they were around 7 peoples. But I gained up my courage and said, "Come on I'm not afraid" and I was about to hit by a bat again when I held it and kicked the person holding it straight in his crotch.
