CH: 19 BREAKFAST

After the dinner we went to the room together as we were going to sleep together. We weren't feeling awkward after talking about each other. Jacob went to the washroom to wash his face and to do other things he does before he goes to sleep.

I was waiting to go next because I was in an urge to pee. As soon as Jacob came out of the washroom I ran into the washroom with my full speed and I was sure that he would be laughing on me. When I finished my daily activities I went inside the room and said,

"Can you show me your sketches?"

"Oh, those sketches. Let me bring them, they are very precious top me." He said as he opened the door of the cupboard.

"Ok hyung I will handle them properly," I said when I saw Jacob bringing 2 to 3 sketchbooks with him. I held my hand out to hold them as I was so excited to see them. I opened the first sketchbook which had a brown cardboard cover and its pages were a bit old, I turned the cover and saw the first page and there was written JACOB PAUL in bold cursive writing which was very pretty cursive letter

And then I turned to the first page, it was a sketch of a woman I couldn't define her beauty just by some lines of pencil scribbled on the page, but the woman in the sketch was really pretty. I really adored her. When I turned to ask Jacob who she was he already spoke "She was my mo." He said and I didn't ask any further because I didn't want to open any deep wound which had left him with a lot of pain.

I turned the page and saw various landscapes, portraits, and sketches too. They were really pieces of adorable art which I loved a lot. But there was one thing common in every sketch. It had a sign reading "SOUL SPEAKER." it was a very unusual name but, when looked at Jacob to ask the significance of it I saw Jacob was already sleeping soundly.so, I watched the rest of the drawings.

He was curled in the shape of a ball, when I looked at him. Maybe he was cold so I pulled the blanket over him and kept his stuff properly in the cupboard and lay down beside him, after putting a pillow in between us and covered me with the blanket too. It took me only a few minutes to fell asleep.

I woke up at around 7'o clock in the morning and as usual I went to wash my face and brush my teeth and then went for a jog. It was a very fresh morning; the way the cold breeze was passing by my ears it almost tickles them, and makes me feel happy. There was no hustle-bustle because it was really early but the parks weren't empty there were a few people who were basically old or children. I plugged the earphones in my ears and started playing my unknown guy's music. It suited well with the environment around me. I smiled throughout the walk and I didn't know why but I was so happy that day.

I finished my jogging session after 15 to 20 laps and the started to stretch out. I stretched my body a bit but it wasn't sore as it used to from the past 2 days it was back to normal. I sat on the stool in the park and felt the cold breeze playing around me. I plugged out the earphones and heard the birds chirping.

I was so relaxed at that moment that I didn't realize when I fell asleep in the park only. When I woke up I got to know that it was already, 9:35are. So I ran towards my home I was feeling so silly. "How could I fell asleep in the park?" I said to myself "I haven't even prepared the breakfast, I had to join my work from today and I am fooling around. How stupid you are Mason." I was again and again scolding me in my whole way to my home. When I reached home, my nose was filled with the aroma of food, the smell was so delicious and it made my mouth watery.

I went towards the kitchen and saw Jacob was cooking something, which I couldn't say because he was in front of the stove and his back was facing me. I went near him and he was wearing my apron. It was short for him because he I a bit taller than me and his shoulders were broad too. I stood near him and asked "What are you cooking, hyung". "I'm making some noodles. I thought you went for some important work and it was late too. So, I thought I will prepare the breakfast today." I smiled and said "I was really hungry, thanks a lot. I will go and bath first because I have to leave for work at 10:30 am." "OH! Where do you work?" he asked" I work at a library as an assistant. "I replied heading to my room to take the towel and then went to bath. I took a fats bath and got ready as soon as I could the breakfast was also ready so after I changed into a loose black shirt and a pair of blue pants, I sat on the dining table waiting for the food to be plated. I was tapping my fingers on the table because I was eager to taste the food and I was getting late too.

Within few minutes a bowl full of noodles was kept in front of me. I instantly picked up the fork and started filling my mouth without waiting for Jacob. He laughed at my actions at it as ii as really eating like I haven't ate food from past 5 days. But the only reason for that was I was getting late at that moment so I didn't cared.

The noodles were really very tasty I wanted to eat more but it was already 10:20 am when I finished my first bowl of noodles. So I just thanked for food and ran outside the home after picking up my bag from the couch. I was taking the cycle outside when Jacob came outside I was about to close the entrance gate when Jacob shouted, "BYE MASON HAVE A NICE DAY."

And after hearing that a smile crept on my face. I replied "bye." with a smiling face. He was becoming a part of my family and I liked that. I sat on the cycle and started paddling it. "He really is such a great person, I regret meeting him so late. I wish we could live like this as longer as we can. He really makes me smile; his every action is so heartwarming." I was thinking about him only until I reached my destination. It was my luck that I wasn't late, I ran inside the library and changed into my uniform.

I went near the librarian and asked whether she need any help.my librarian was a pretty girl of around 20. She is quite pretty and almost every boy had a crush on him but she rejected everyone because she thought it's not the time she should waste in dating a person she had no future with. She believed in dating someone she can see her future with. She was very sweet, humble, kind and caring in nature and she treats everyone equally and never forgets to smile to someone and to console someone when they feel sad. I met her 2 years ago at the library only and since then she treated me like her own family. She even made lunch for me whenever I was sick, she didn't knew much about my family and past but she doesn't cared about it too.

I went near her and said, "Hello, mam, do you need any help?"

She turned towards me and gave me a death glare and said, "How many times I have to tell you that don't call me mam, and you can call me by my name in only 2 years older than you."

"Sorry, sorry KRYSTAL," I said as I joined my hands in front of him to ask for mercy as she was staring at me so deeply that if staring could kill someone I would be dead and would have been converted into ash by now.

"It's okay I will forgive you this last time. And tell me one more thing why you asked for a sudden leave for a week?" she said looking at the books placed on her desk.

"Actually one of my friends got into an accident so I was with him all the time," I replied to her question and she instantly turned her gaze towards me after hearing my words.

"Your FRIEND got into an ACCIDENT and YOU WERE WITH HIM ALL THE TIME." She said in a shocked and sarcastic tone. I understood what she was forcing at so I told her everything except for the part that how Jacob's father treat him.

She was very shocked to know that I helped an unknown and now he was staying at my home but she was happy too that Jacob was out of danger now. After we finished our chat she asked me to place some books on the shelf so, I just picked the bundle of books and headed to the shelves to place them there.

I was busy arranging all the books when my phone buzzed, I saw the phone and it showed a notification "MESSAGE FROM JACOB." I was really shocked that he really texted me. I quickly unlocked my phone and checked the message after outing the books in one of my hands aside.

JACOB:

HEY1MASON WHEN WILL YOU COME BACK.

I MEAN WHEN WILL YOUR SHIFT END.

ME:

I WILL RETURN AT AROUND 6'O CLOCK OR SO.

JACOB:

ISN'T IT TOO LONG... I MEAN A PART-TIME SHIFT FOR 9 HOURS.

ME:

IT IS... BUT JUST FOR HOLIDAYS, YOU KNOW; IN HOLIDAYS THERE ARE SO MANY PEOPLE SITTING IN THE LIBRARY SO THEY NEED MORE PEOPLE HERE.

JACOB:

OK!

CONTINUE YOUR WORK I WON'T DISTURB.

BYE.

HAVE A NICE DAY.

I was so happy after receiving his text and worked very happily in my whole shift.
