1 Chapter 1
Amanda had just received the news she was waiting for days. She had obtained a VISA for the United States where she had to finish her education to become a professional lawyer. Going down the stairs while writing a message to her parents, she ran into someone she recognized directly.
« Amanda, how many times did I tell you not to walk while using your phone? »
She strengthened and kissed him slightly on the lips.
« I'm sorry Michael, I was just sending a message to my parents to tell them that I have obtained a VISA and that you and I are going to USA. »
She thought that he could be as exited as her when he will learn the new but he was neutral if not sad.
« Is every thing ok? »
« Amanda, I can't come with you. My mother is very sick and Luke is too young for me to leave him alone. I hope you understand. »
« Yeah. What is she suffering from? »
« We don't yet know. She is in the hospital completely inconscient. The doctors are doing all the required test but I can't leave her alone with Luke. »
Amanda was disappointed but she could understand that Michael wants to be there for his family.
« Ok. I will stay with you as long as possible and if you need anything, just ask ok? »
She takes him in her arms while leading him in the leaving room.

Two weeks later, Amanda was waiting for Michael at the airport. His mother's health was no more a great problem. Though she was still very sick, she was more powerful days after days. A voice in the speaker had already announced that people going to USA had to embark but Amanda did not want to go without seeing Michael. When the last announcement for her flight is made, Amanda sees Luke coming towards her.
« Luke, what are you doing here and where is your brother? Has something arrived to mum? »
He was uncomfortable. He knew his elder brother was somewhere in this airport looking at them. He had to announce to Amanda that Michael did not want any relationship with her.
« Michael asked me to tell you that he wants to breakup with you. I'm very sorry Amanda. »
Amanda first thought that it was a joke but seeing how serious Luke was, she had no other choice than accepting the reality. The voice in the speaker announced that this was the last call giving Amanda a reason for leaving without adding a word.

Michael saw his brother coming back to him.
« How was it? »
« I don't know. She did not even talk. She just left... Michael I really think that with all what she did for us, she does not merit what you are doing to her. »
« I know but that man gave me enough money for me to survive. I will find another woman. »
« But at least, you could break up yourself. What you are just from doing is even worse than sending a message. »
« She will survive. All her family is in America. There she will be happier than here. Now I think we should go home. »
