285 The sweet farewell from the Snake Castle

In the darkening corridors of the tall Snake Castle, Sienna walked with a lit copper candle lamp to illuminate her way. Her golden hair shone brightly from the subtle light and the smile at her lips was giving away that she had a really nice day...

Sienna finished her painting as dusk approached and felt satisfied. Sharmut with Chantelle were very happy with their new portrait together...their approving expression added lightness to Sienna's steps. She felt excited and a little wild, the creative energy was still twirling in her head!

Sienna finally made it to her door, so she entered the dim room and the first thing she saw was her beaten Snake King lying in her bed! She put her lamp on the bedside table and bent to him worriedly.

"Sharchan!" she called softly and looked at his handsome face. He looked quite hurt and sleeping, so Sienna kissed his lips gently..."Get better my love." she whispered to him. Sharchan suddenly stretched his hands and pulled her to himself in a bear-like hug!

"Ah no, you have a cut, "Sienna touched the rugged skin on his shoulder...He did not even bother to bandage it, because it was nothing for him, but Sienna was alarmed...

"It is nothing." he kissed her deeply...It felt so good to steal even seconds from

Marco's day...

Sienna kissed him and then she petted his face...

"You were so amazing today morning that my feet are still trembling," she whispered to him as she sat on the bed next to him.

Sharchan just grinned."No worry my love, I will make you boiling hot again soon." he slapped her bottom gently...

"Hey! Be careful! You are way too strong..." she chuckled but lay down on top of him...kissing him softly...he was irresistible to her!

"Do you want to mate again quickly, hm?"Sharchan rasped into her ear.

"No time my love, I'm going to get ready for Marco, I promised to go with him."She smiled gently and pecked his lips.

"Is he not too cold for you?" asked Sharchan.

"Well, I do love him, he is a lovely man...and a soldier...he is my cold eagle..."Sienna smiled.

"Am I your hot snake then?"Sharchan smiled seductively holding her waist as she sat next to him again...

"Yes, you are..." she smiled as Sharchan kissed her passionately again...

"Stay well and keep writing to me...I can't wait to have you again.."Sharchan said cutely...

"Me too..my hot man..."Sienna giggled and ran her hand on his muscular arm, she just had to touch that biceps..."I'm going to wait for Marco..let me go now," she begged Sharchan cutely. His hand was still stuck around her waist...

"No need, I'm here. "Marco suddenly stood up from the shadows...Sienna did not even see him in the dim room!

Just Sharchan saw him well...he was letting him watch his playing with Sienna on purpose. It was his snake's last hit before he had to let her go with Marco...

"Marco, my love!" Sienna went to hug him but halted when she saw his cold face..." Why did you not say anything? Were you watching me?" she asked a bit shocked.

"Yes..." Marco nodded coldly.

"Well, he always liked to stalk you, old habits die hard..."Sharchan grinned mockingly from the bed ...

Marco bit his lips..." Come, let's go..." he pulled Sienna's hand towards the window.

"Wait, I hope you will let her to farewell our family!"Sharchan said to Marco seriously from Sienna's bed, "They are waiting for you at the atrium now surely." he smiled at Sienna.

"Yes, I should..."Sienna nodded, "I like to say my goodbyes. They were very nice to me and I like them all, please." she smiled at Marco gently...

"Sure..."Marco nodded. He would not mess with Sharchan's family because of the bloody sorcerer...

"I will go farewell with you as well, my love."Sharchan stood up from the bed almost miraculously but he put a warm blanket over his shoulder pretending to be a seriously hurt person and went slowly behind Marco with Sienna chuckling for himself. He felt his little play hurted Marco deeply and it was a lot of fun for him...

Marco led Sienna clenched into his arm down the dark corridors. Sharchan walked behind them nonchalantly...He felt Marco was angry inside and it made him feel good.

At the atrium of the Snake Castle Sienna saw that Sharmut with Chantelle and Marath with Thyasse were sitting outside having a little dinner and watching stars...

"Already on your way?" Sharmut stood up and came to Sienna with Marco.

"Sit with us for a little. I have a surprise for you..."He smiled gently at her and took her hand to sit her down...

Sienna pulled Marco with her automatically and Sharchan followed and sat behind the big round white wooden table almost opposite Sienna. He liked to watch her closely...

"Here, have some salmon with us, King Marco, "Chantelle smiled gently and offered him a plate of thin raw cuts of fish...

Marco sat next to Sienna and watched the snake family...Sharmut was very keen and gave Sienna a big golden goblet with white snow-like foamy scoops in it and blueberries on the top.

"Raw whipped egg whites and sugared yolks at the bottom if you can manage to eat through it all..." he smiled..."You were working hard all day, so you deserve a dessert. Besides Sharchet promised it to you..." Sharmut smiled softly and Sienna's heart melted. They felt so much like a family to her now. 

"Thank you so much."She smiled and took the goblet and a little golden spoon.

Sienna was excited by the familiar desert and gobbled it up happily.

"Someone is hungry..."Chantelle watched her curiously with a soft smile.

"It is so nice." Sienna smiled."I did not have it for ages...it was my favourite sweet as a kid." She explained a bit blushed.

"Well, I'm so pleased you like it." Sharmut nodded."Whoever will think that you like eating raw eggs..." he chuckled.

"Well, it is quite sweet but pleasant.." Chantelle said elegantly. She ate some from her own golden goblet as well."It is a good recipe..." she noted.

"Sure, my Sienna likes only good things." Sharchan glanced at her possessively.

"Well, you fit into our family quite well...almost as a snake..."Sharmut chuckled.

Sienna smiled...She finished eating the dessert and looked at Marco. He was sitting next to her sternly but patiently. He seemed to be thinking. ...he ate some of the salmon he was offered but he did not seem hungry at all.

"It is getting late, let's go if you finished eating..." he said coldly to Sienna...

"Yes, my love," Sienna nodded. 

"Sure, we can't keep you here all night ."Sharchan chuckled and smirked at Sienna.

"Yes, fly careful with our little queen."Marath reminded him familiarly.

"I will."Marco nodded coldly but respectfully.

Marco helped Sienna to stand up, well he pulled her by her hand but she slipped from his grasp and went to kiss her family goodbye...

" Thank you for being so nice to me...I do love you all."Sienna hugged and kissed Sharmut, Chantelle, Thyasse and Marath.

"I'm very pleased with my daughter-in-law." Sharmut smiled, "We hope to see you soon."

"Be careful, my child...we all grow to love you."Chantelle smiled at Sienna.

"Have a good way, sister."Thyasse smiled gently at her.

"Collect good memories, sister."Sienna smiled at Thyasse.

"I will go to the Wetlands to send Sarcos back to you. "Marath smiled. 

"Thank you. "Sienna smiled excitedly and kissed his cheek.

"Protect our queen well, Marco..." Marath said to him seriously...

Sienna kissed Sharchan's lips..." I love you so much...get better soon and come to visit me..." she hugged him...

"I will see you in Crystal City soon..." Sharchan smiled and glanced at Marco.

Marco looked at Marath and then at Sharchan."They surely play their games together." the cold eagle thought...

"Thank you for your hospitality. "Marco said coldly and changed into a huge eagle.

Sharchan helped Sienna climb on Marco's eagle back and covered her in that warm blanket from his shoulders..." Stay well my love..." he said gently and smiled....The blanket had his scent all over!

Sienna sat on Marco and held on tightly, she waved to her new family one last time and the big eagle lifted high into the dark sky...

Sienna watched the cold night sky, she was wrapped well...the blanket smelled of Sharchan and it made her so mellow she just had to think about him...

She really liked her new family and she missed Sharchan already...She was still having his face in front of her eyes..."My crazy Snake King who jumped into the fire for me...!" she smiled thinking, but her heart clenched a bit painfully.
