Chapter 17

Alara

The storm started an hour ago, the wolves ate, some cubs are sleeping peacefully while others are crying and scared. The packs have gotten along so far but we are all going to have to stay in the main pack house tonight and throughout the storm. some of the wolves are already complaining about that. This will be one heck of a night. 

The next morning, I woke up to someone knocking on my bedroom door. I went to get up but was pulled back by Adam and Austin went to the door. "Alpha" the man said "the storm is over" the man continued "ok go we will be down in a minute" Austin said and closed the door. "Guess it's time to get up" Adam stated. I groaned but agreed and got up. The boys wore their normal jeans with a white button up short sleeve shirt, and I of course wore black shorts and a crop top.

We walked down stairs and the pack house was empty, so we walked out side and there they were looking at the damage. The training field was ruined along with the guest houses and trees were knocked down. "Well let's get to work it's not going to fix itself" I said but was help back by the elder women of the packs. "Luna we mustn't need to tell you" one said. "You need to be careful you could harm the little one" another said. I looked at them in shock "what do you mean by that, what are you trying to do?" I said/asked. "Follow us luna we must speak in private" they said in unison.

I looked at Adam and Austin and they just nodded "we got it covered here go" Adam said. I looked at Austin and he smiled letting me know it's ok. So I followed the elder women, they lead me to an empty bedroom. "Ok what are you talking about?" I asked. "Luna you are pregnant" she said. "What" I practically screamed "please Luna may I" she asked motioning twords my stomach, I nodded my head for her to continue. She placed her a hand on me stomach and the other on my shoulder. She smiled "two healthy babies" she looked at me and said. "H-how do you know that" I asked, "I used to work with pregnant women and cubs so over time I picked up the different movements the cubs made while in the stomach" she said and backed away.

I couldn't help but smile, the ladies and I turned to leave with them behind me. Once we were back outside Adam and Austin ran to my side. "So what's going on?" They asked I looked them in the eyes and smiled, "I'm pregnant" I said and watched their faces shift from worried to excited. They hugged me and got back to work. It sucked not being able to do things for my pack but I had two unborn cubs to take care of and I'm fine with that.

A month into my pregnancy we fixed everything that got destroyed. We told the pack I was pregnant and everyone has been so nice and understanding. Just as I was headed downstairs some omegas came and helped me. I thanked them and went outside. To my surprise the wolves were still training, "hey luna" one of the wolves said "hey looking good keep it up" I said to them. Everything was perfect I was having a cub, the pack house was back together, everyone is so helpful. Nothing could go wrong.....

As I was headed back inside I heard a growl. It sounded nothing along the lines of friendly. I turned around to a god awful sight, an group of rogues with a cub in the leaders mouth. Austin and Adam ran to my side, "what do you want" Adam asked. The rogue leader shifted "hi I'm maverick and you have something I want" he said looking at me. Austin pushed me behind him "well say it" Austin said while Adam growled ready to attack. "Very well, I want the unborn" maverick said "still in your mate or out you choose" he continued.

At this point the full pack was ready for a fight "I'm not giving you my child born or unborn" I said holding my stomach. Maverick snarled and leaped for me, Jackson jumped in and tackled maverick "I won't let you lay a hand on my luna" jackson yelled ripping his head off. Starting the fight.

Adam and Austin stood by my side protecting me letting jackson and the other hunters finish this fight. A few minutes later jackson walked up to us "Luna are you alright" he asked. I nodded my head "yes I'm fine, thank you" I said. With that they started to move the bodies.
