Chapter 3: End of Mock Battle

Aoki sent palm after palm towards Yumi, who struggled to block each palm strikes, causing her to step back after each strikes. At this moment, Aoki was smiling crazily as he increased the speed at which he delivered his palm strikes.

Aoki inherited the same white eyes from his father, while he has inherited his mother's light brown colored hair on a Pageboy haircut, covering his cursed seal.

His hair were different from a full blooded hyuga kid who usually had black and brown. He was wearing a long sleeved, waist - length, loose white top looking like a combination of a sweatshirt and a kimono, and a knee - length, olive black pants.

With this appearance, Aoki may seem to be a gentle and serene kid, but in fact that gentle appearance was just for show, because he was a true battle maniac.

He would usually go easy at his first strike, and as time lengthens He would start to increase his speed in striking his enemy, which would usually overwhelm his opponents.

With his opponent not being a part of the main hyuga clan, Aoki seemed to become so arrogant, but when faced with a main hyuga kid, he would humble himself.

"Yumi, you are quite good. Being able to block my strikes at this speed is quite an accomplishment." Aoki spoke arrogantly as he delivered a palm towards Yumi, in which she blocked with her arms, making her step backwards.

"Being ranked as number 2 isn't just for show, Aoki." Yumi replied, feeling her arms go numb from Aoki's latest blow. "But I admit, I can't beat you with just taijutsu." She added as she maneuvered backwards and started weaving signs for Earth Release: Stone Pistol.

Aoki ran after Yumi as he dodged the earth projectiles directed at him. Each projectiles missed Aoki by just a couple inches, making it seem like he's struggling to avoid each one of them.

"You know it's futile for you to use ninjutsu against me." Aoki said as he grinned. "With how slow you weave those signs, I could dodge them all."

"Don't be arrogant Aoki." Yumi responded with an annoyed expression on her face. She started running on the opposite direction from Aoki. Aoki who saw this just smiled and ran after her with his full speed.

A while later, he managed to catch up with her and started to exchange blows with her, who in turn struggled as she backstepped while looking for the right opportunity to weave signs at a close range.

On both of their ears, sounds of fists and legs could be heard ringing as they hit ang block each other's.

Little by little, Yumi started to get exhausted in blocking blows from Aoki, in result her speed of blocking the fists slowed down.

She soon got hit on her chest with Aoki's palm, making her stumble down to the ground heavily.

After that hit, Aoki stopped and gazed down at her, as she struggled to get up. "That was fun." He said while grinning.

Meanwhile on Kasai's side, He briefly gazed at Manaka and sighed deeply. He gripped his kunai tightly and sneaked towards Manaka.

While Manaka was occupied with his cut, he felt someone sneaked behind him and put a kunai on his neck, which made him stop mobilizing his chakra.

"You were too preoccupied Manaka." Kasai whispered on his ear.

Kasai was feeling disappointed with his opponent, Manaka. Ever since he came here, he wanted to battle against Manaka, to see if his original Jutsus could actually contend against this genius, but now he was only able to use one jutsu and this fool got distracted so easily.

"Damn it, outsider!" Manaka complained, not too happy that he got defeated and wounded by an outsider.

Hearing Manaka's words, Kasai rolled his eyes and turned his gaze to Aoki's direction and saw him standing before Yumi who was clutching her chest and Haruto who was busy dodging and deflecting Hina's shurikens and kunais.

At the audience seats, they could clearly saw how the combination of Kasai, Aoki and Hina was totally overwhelming for the other side. They started conversing with each other.

"Although Kasai and Hina isn't that strong, with Aoki by their side, they could defeat Haruto, Yumi, and Manaka easily."

"It only took them 5 minutes to finish the battle."

"That's enough Hina. Your team won the mock battle." Hotaru Sensei, who was on the audience, announced. He smiled at the 6 students on the stadium and added, "That was a great battle."

"Thank you, Hotaru Sensei." All 6 of them replied.

Hotaru nodded, and told them to get off the stadium so he can continue with the last teams for mock battle.

"You're amazing Kasai!" Hina complimented as she walked towards him and walked off the stadium with him.

On their left side, Aoki walked passed them, back on his natural facial expression. He paused a few steps in front of the two and said, "Good thing, you both didn't become a hindrance to me." After that statement, he walked off not even giving them a stare.

Kasai and Hina stood there dazed. "Was it a compliment?" Kasai whispered.

"Compliment yourself! It was completely an insult, Kasai!" Hina berated, obviously annoyed at how Aoki was being arrogant in front of them. "Sooner or later I'll show him that we're better than him!" She added confidently with clenched fists.

Seeing how Hina was being determined with her thoughts, Kasai found her expression cute and started teasing her. "Blah blah, Hina you're so loud, and I thought you want to become a medical ninja?" While teasing her, he had already ran towards a corner of the audience seats.

"You-- Kasaiii!!" Hina screamed and run after him.

Back on his small room, Kasai sat on top of his futon with his eyes closed, meditating. He learned a month ago that through meditating, ones chakra control could be strengthened.

Right now, Kasai's chakra is the same level as a normal genin. If based on ranks, his chakra control would be around D rank only, unlike Hina who excels in this, and is comparable to a chunin's.

Kasai has been doing this meditation almost everynight after his night self training. Besides the activities and trainings at the academy, he still continued training at home or in the forest to strengthen himself.

He was self aware that unlike other main characters on a web novel, he didn't gain any other benefits other than living another's life and a small blue crystal inside his consciousness.

When he opened his eyes on this world, Kasai was holding a blue crystal that glowed brightly after setting his sights on it which then entered his mind through his forehead.

He don't have any idea about that crystal and its function, since there is no system like voice that talked to him that day. Up until now, that blue crystal was still silently floating in his consciousness.
