1 Chapter 1: The Unfamiliar Reflection

Rin is a normal human being that lives for survival. One day Rin decided to go to the hospital for his first check up that he planned to do because he got the money now because of the result of his hard work. At 25 years old, he found himself trapped in the worst period of his life, disoriented and drenched in sweat. The weight of the world bore down on his shoulders as he discovered the grim truth: cancer had taken root within him, giving him a mere five months to live. It was a devastating blow, a cruel twist of fate that shattered his dreams and hopes for a future. "What! What the hell was that?, Did I just live for nothing, all those hard work just to die in five months" Overwhelmed by despair, Rin stumbled through the city streets, his mind clouded with a tumultuous storm of emotions. Each step was heavy with the weight of impending mortality, each breath a painful reminder of his limited time. Shock held him captive, numbing his senses and leaving him in a state of disbelief. Life's vibrant colors seemed to fade, replaced by a desolate gray that matched the darkness consuming him. **************************** Rin slowly opened his eyes, his vision greeted by the dazzling radiance of a chandelier hanging above him. As he tried to push himself upright, his gaze wandered around the room, his astonishment growing with each passing moment. The extravagant design, the opulent furnishings, and the overall grandeur of the surroundings left him in a state of awe. Confusion flooded his mind as he struggled to make sense of his surroundings and what had transpired. With a sudden realization, Rin looked down at his arms, only to be met with a jolt of shock. They were no longer the hands he was familiar with; instead, he saw chubby white arms that belonged to a teenage boy of about 15 or 16 years old. Panic set in as he rushed to the nearby mirror, desperate to understand the transformation he had undergone. His reflection revealed a plump, youthful face, completely different from the visage he had known as his own. Rin's mind reeled with questions, and in a trembling voice, he muttered, "Where am I!? Why do I look like this?" Just as confusion threatened to consume him, a knock resounded from the door. Rin's heart raced as he tried to compose himself, mustering the courage to face the unknown. "Come in," he managed to say, his voice quivering. The door swung open, revealing an elderly man with pristine white hair, a well-groomed beard, and mustache. Though taken aback by the appearance of the man, Rin masked his shock and maintained his composure. The man spoke with a respectful tone, addressing him as "Young master the food is ready." It only further deepened Rin's bewilderment. Was he truly the young master, and was this man his butler? Collecting his thoughts, Rin nodded and responded, "Ok, wait for me outside." The butler acknowledged his words with a simple "Understood, young master" before leaving the room. As the door closed behind the butler, Rin sank onto the bed, feeling overwhelmed by the surreal nature of his situation. It was as if the pages of his novel had come to life, enveloping him within its storyline. However, before he could process further, a searing headache struck him, causing him to cry out in pain. Moments later, Rin regained consciousness, his hand still pressed against his throbbing head. To his surprise, the pain had vanished, replaced by a flood of information that surged into his mind. It became clear to him that he was now trapped within the world he had created which is, "The Chronicles of the Lone Hero." In this world, cracks of space(CS) had appeared all around the world in the year 2023, at first humanity mesmerized with its beauty. However, the crack of space soon unleashed hordes of monsters, leading to the catastrophic World War 3. After 10 days of watching the beauty of the (CS) suddenly many monsters came out of it and attack the humans and caused almost the extinction of the humans but that stopped because in that span of ten days many humans have awakened and tried to fight the monsters, the fight on the monsters last for 15 years and that war became the World war 3 in the face of humanity but when the humans tried to celebrate, in just 2 years a big crack of space opened and the demons came and another war opened in the hands of humanity, until now in the year 2050. Rin learned of the ongoing battle against demons, and how the demon occupied the continent of Australia, and the relentless struggle for survival that plagued humanity in this war-torn realm. Rin's exploration of his newfound world yielded more than just a realization of his role as the lone hero. It became apparent to him that he was not inhabiting the body of the protagonist he had envisioned, but rather that of Ethan Blaze, one of the antagonists in his novel. The weight of this revelation settled upon him, bringing a mix of conflicting emotions. As Rin absorbed this truth, he couldn't help but feel a sense of frustration. In his original plans, he had crafted Ethan Blaze as a formidable adversary, a character designed to challenge the main protagonist at every turn. Now, Rin found himself not only burdened with fulfilling the hero's destiny but also wrestling with the complexities of the antagonist's past. The name Ethan Blaze carried with it a reputation marred by misdeeds and a life filled with corruption. Rin sighed, realizing that his new body possessed immense wealth and influence, but it also carried the baggage of a troubled past. Rin suddenly spoke "Status" a big screen pop out in the thin air. Skills: (Wind Cut) - It allows the user to send a crescent cut made of wind. (Fire ball) - It allows the user to send a ball made of fire. Rin's curiosity got the better of him as he examined the Status panel, a feature he had added to the novel as a game-like element for the characters. As he scrolled through the information, his eyes widened in amazement and disbelief. There, displayed before him, were the blessings bestowed upon Ethan Blaze, blessings that Rin had no recollection of incorporating into the story. Each awakened individual in this world received a blessing, a special attribute granted based on their past actions and choices. Rin's heart beat faster as he read the descriptions of Ethan Blaze's blessings. He realized that this blessing is good and bad at the same time because this blessing can make you fat but it can make your mana power fat too, but Rin didn't worry because he know that this problem can be fixable. Rin looked at the Status panel and became amazed and sad at the same time because he didn't remember Ethan Blaze having this blessing, a blessing is what every awakened get when they awaken and this blessing is based on their past actions. Rin looked again in the status panel but at this time he became sad because see that the body stats of Ethan Blaze are pure trash he needed to exercise a lot to change this. Rin's gaze shifted back to the status panel, and a wave of disappointment washed over him as he observed the body stats of Ethan Blaze. It was disheartening to see that they were in worse state, far from the body stats he had created for the hero. A heavy sigh escaped Rin's lips as he contemplated the daunting task ahead of him.
