6 Chapter 6: New Race?
Callidus began to explain to Fortis how to use the axe.
"Do you understand? It's that simple.."
Fortis nodded his head a few times and began to use the axe on the wood. He cut the wood into straight lines with the help of Lenta. Since the others were busy. Callidus put the deer's skin on a rock and used the knife to tan the deer's skin.

The one racking up many skills and increasing his stats is none other than Callidus. Callidus had a visible smile on his face as he continued his work.

Dux and Celer were both busy tending the deer. They were both hungry and the smell of the deer captivated them.
On the other side were Fortis and Lenta slowly building a small fort. They already finished creating the base, now it was time for them to create the roof.
Cedric gave them the order to use the tree's leaves to use as a roof. Fortis and Lenta soon followed the instruction.

While his creations were busy, Cedric was busy choosing another race.

Cedric was once again in a dilemma on what race shall he choose. After re-reading the information about each race and their evolution paths. Cedric decided to choose the Mermaid race.
Before choosing the Beastmen's race, Cedric wanted to choose the Mermaid race, but due to the tempting evolution path of the Beastmen race, he chose their race instead. But now having to choose another race, Cedric decided to choose what he originally wanted, aka the Mermaid race.

Cedric followed the same procedure, he created balanced stats for the leader, an offensive-based stat for the fighter, an intellect-based stat for their future mage, an agility based for their assassin, and a dexterity based for their tank.
This time it was two men and three women. Cedric chose the spawning spot, he decided to spawn them in a marine area.

Libra means Balance. Impetum means Attack. Mentem means Mind. Curre means to run. Tuere means Protect.
The five merman and mermaids were complete. Cedric decided to leave the beastmen alone for some time since they already created a small settlement and had proper nourishment.
Now it was time for Cedric to focus on the new race.

Just like the name depicts it's an Auto button. The auto button aka the system would be given charge of the Beastmen. The system would act as the goddess Lux and give tasks for the beastmen to perform, whilst Cedric would start helping the other race for their survival.

Unlike the beastmen race who had brown clothe to cover their breasts, the Mermaid race was not given such clothing function. The mermaid's breasts are exposed…
"Well, it would be alright...I think"
Cedric began to spawn them into their new home.

As soon as they spawned, the first thing that happened was the other creations bowed their heads in front of Libra.

Cedric started to write a message to the creations, but each of them didn't even answer nor gave attention to what he said.

Cedric immediately pressed the yes button on the screen, his body distorted.
After a few seconds, Cedric opened his eyes, he glanced at his hands, they were skinny yet peerless white. Touching his neck, Cedric touched three gills on each side of his neck, his hair was now long reaching his back.
"I'm a girl…"
"Libra? What do we do?"
Cedric glanced at the other creations. He also didn't know what to do.
"First we find a suitable place to live."

Cedric glanced at the others who began to search for a place to live. While Cedric was now visibly red glancing at his exposed female breasts.

Curre with her beady eyes pulled Cedric who was having a moment, he once again flushed red looking at Curre's exposed breasts.
'I need to get used to this..'
Unlike the beastmen who had trouble forming words, the Mermaid clan was much more proficient with their vocabulary. This made Cedric ponder if his earlier choice in choosing the beastmen race was right.
"What do you think?"
It was a cave that could fit the five of them. It has seagrass with other colorful corals inside.
"Seagrass are fluffy, we now have a free and cozy place to sleep!"
Cedric kept on inspecting the cave, it was perfect for them to live into.
"Your right, call the others.."
"Got it!"
Curre left to find the others. While Cedric was looking at the mission screen.
[The Rise of the New Goddess]
[Description: Now that the other mermaids and mermen have chosen Libra as their goddess instead of Lux. Libra will now be dubbed as their goddess.

* Libra must level up and reach level 200.
* A new evolution path would open once Libra reaches level 200
* Hone the other mermaids and mermen. Each of the mermaids and mermen must have one occupation, and learn five skills.]

After finishing reading the mission, Cedric felt even more burden placed on his shoulders. He glanced at the anticipating others.
"Since you all chose to follow me, let's start with our very first objective. I will tell you now, that we have three objectives, the first is for our race to survive, we must ensure our survival for the sake of our future generations.."
"Secondly, we must train, and develop skills and hone them. This is also for our survival, the stronger we get, our race's survival would increase."
"Third, since you all chose to follow me. You will be my first warriors.
"Since you all chose to follow me. I will tell you my objective."
"What I want to do is to input our names in the future of our kind. I want the future generation to hear about our tales. To hear of our adventures. I want them to put our names in history!"
"I want for them to not only know me as their ancestor, but also their goddess, and you will be the warriors!…"
