Chapter 12

Location: Dagon's Lair.

"Are you sure, you are fine, sister?" Y/N raised a brow.

"I am alright, Y/N. Its just-you know? I am going to miss her." Brenna stated sadly.

"I know, We both are. But, hey, she'll be back soon." Y/N said with an encouraging smile. Brenna smiled in return too. It didn't stick long on her face. Y/N now knew something is up but before he could ask anything, Alex yelled his name from the other room.

"Y/N! Y/N!" Alex called. Y/N rushed to the room to check on Alex.

"Are you okay?" Y/N asked.

"Who's this?" Alex asked as her fingers pointed towards a framed photo. Y/N walked closer to her while looking at the photo with a smile on his face.

"That is my mother and my father." Y/N said.

"They were both dragons too?"

"My mom was. My dad was an elf."

"What?" Alex was surprised.

"Yeah. They had a tough time convincing their parents to approve of their marriage."

"So your ancestors were all dragons except for your father's side? Alex asked.

"Mhmm." Y/N nodded. "And then They served as an example for true love." Y/N chuckled.

"Aww, thats so romantic." Alex awed.

"I thought you didn't believe in love or romance."

"Ofcourse I do. Why would you think so." Alex crossed her arms.

"Just figured, nevermind."

"Do YOU believe in love?" Alex asked.

"I...I don't know." Y/N shrugged.

"Oh, please. You can answer better than that. Tell me, Have you ever been in love?" Alex playfully hit Y/N's shoulder.

"Uhm-Well, My mother used to say- When you love somebody, your eyelashes go up and down and little stars come out of you. I have never experienced that, So, no." Y/N chuckled.

"Let me guess, You were four or five at that time." Alex laughed.

"How did you know!" Y/N laughed. They kept laughing and suddenly stopped. They never noticed how, but their hands were in each others. Alex looked up into Y/N's eyes who was already looking into hers. Alex's eyes widened slightly as she felt Y/N's other hand trying to grab her second hand. She pulled her hand away in a jerk before Y/N could grab it. He looked down in guilt and tried to pull his hand which was intertwined with Alex's. Alex gripped it tightly and turned towards him completely. She tugged her hair behind her ear and gently cupped Y/N's cheek. She licked her lips flirtatiously. Y/N closed his eyes and tilted his head very slowly. Alex did the same. There lips were about to meet each other but the sudden opening of the door startled them away.

"Alex..." Brenna trailed off when she saw both of them standing away from each other and looking here and there like they have done a crime. "What happened here?" Brenna asked.

"Noth-nothing." Alex chuckled nervously to which brenna scrunched her brows and crossed her arms.

"I was showing Alex this picture of our Mother and Father." Y/N said.

"Oh really? Then why is she standing so far away?" Brenna asked.

"I-uh-we-"Alex stuttered.

"You were looking for me?" Y/N tried to change the subject.

"Yeah yeah. Thanks for reminding. Alex can you please come with me?" Brenna asked.

"Sure." Alex said.

"Where are you taking her?" Y/N asked.

"I have got something for her." Brenna said.

"Alright lets go." Y/N said as he tries to join them.

"Woah, Woah! Brother? You can't come with us." Brenna stood infront of her brother.

"Why not?"

"Because,.....you'll know soon. Just wait here."

"Oh thats bullsh-"

"Y/N, Stay here!" Brenna gave Y/N a death stare.

"Alright." Y/N sighed which made Alex giggle.

"Where are we going?" Alex asked Brenna while leaving.

"To my room." Brenna said.

"Ooh, I'd love to see your room." Alex said in excitement. Brenna smiled in response. "Oh, My, Gosh! Your room is so large and pretty, Brenna!" Alex exclaimed. She started running here and there like a little kid, checking everything out in Brenna's room. "Brenna, your room alone is bigger than my house!" Alex said.

"Do you want to see my wardrobe?" Brenna asked.

"Yess, pleasee!"

"Here you go." Brenna pushed a door in the corner of her room which lead to another similar sized room with beautiful dresses all around.

"Holy shit!" Alex exclaimed as she walked around to see the dresses. "With the amount of dresses you have here, Brenna, you could literally restock the whole New York city." Alex said.

"You think so?" Brenna giggled.

"I think so? I SEE so!" Alex rolled her eyes and gestured around.

"Anyways, here. I want to give you something." Brenna said. She picked up a bag from the corner. It was all fancy and wrapped up.

"What is this?" Alex asked.

"Open it." Brenna said. Confused Alex unwrapped the bag. Her eyes lit up in joy.

"This is soo pretty! Is this for me?" Alex asked, holding a royal blue-green outfit which she unwrapped just now.

"Yes it is. You are our guest, Alex and none of our guests leave empty handed." Brenna smiled.

"Oh my goshh! Thank you so much, Brenna." Alex exclaimed.

"It was my pleasure. Now, go on, try it." Brenna said.

"Right now?"

"Yes, Go!" Brenna showed Alex the changing room. She then left the room went to her brother while Alex was in the changing room.

"A dress? Thats so sweet." Y/N was already in Brenna's room, leaning against the wall and arms crossed.

"She loved it." Brenna said.

"I heard."

"About that, don't you have anything else to do? Can't you just leave us alone to have some girls time?"

"What else am I supposed to do? We are all leaving together, aren't we?" Y/N shrugged.

"How do I look?" Alex walked out wearing the dress Brenna gave her. She twirled around to give her friends a detailed look.

(Imagine something royal and pretty. The above pic is just for giving an idea.)

"oh good heavens!" Y/N mumbled. Brenna's eyes widened at her brother's reaction. She turned around to give him a shocked look.

"What?" Alex asked.

"I mean-I-you look so stunning." Y/N chuckled nervously.

"Brother, you are sweating." Brenna sniggered.

"Shut up!" Y/N mumbled back.

"Thanks, Y/N. Brenna you like it?" Alex asked.

"You look so so pretty, Alex." Brenna said.

"Thanks, you guys. I can't wait to see how my parents react." Alex said.

"Are you-we leaving?" Y/N asked.

"Yes. Don't you remember what professor Crumbs said? We must leave now." Brenna said.

"I want to see your portal door, let's go." Alex held Y/N's hand and started walking

Location: Waverly Sub Station.

"Heyy guyss. How Y'all doing?" Alex greeted as she entered her family restaurant.

"Oh Alex, Mija, You look so lovely." Theresa went closer to appreciate her daughter. "Where'd you get this dress?"

"You know my friends, Y/N and Brenna? They gifted me this."  Alex said.

"Y/N and Brenna, huh? You have never mentioned them before." Theresa raised a brow.

"Dad, Alex is here!" Justin yelled when he saw Alex while coming out of his room.

"Alex we need to talk." Jerry came out of the kitchen.

"Ok, but first tell me, Don't I look like a princess?" Alex asked.

"Let me guess, The Dagons gave this dress to you?" Jerry asked.

"Who are the dagons?" Theresa asked.

"Yeah, aren't they the sweetest?" Alex giggled.

"This means nothing to them. They are extremely wealthy. They can practically rule this planet." Jerry said and Alex scoffed. He glared at her.

"You are kidding, right?" Alex asked.

"No he is not, Alex. They are dragons. They don't lack wealth. You were there at their house, Have you not seen treasures or gold lying everywhere?" Justin asked. Alex remained silent.

"Dagons are Dragons?" Theresa exclaimed.

"I want you to stay away from them." Jerry said.

"I am sorry, what? You want me to stay away from them because they are rich?" Alex asked.

"They are Dragons,  they are dangerous." Jerry said.

"No they are not." Alex scoffed.

"Oh, do I need to remind you what happened at the carnival today, What professor crumbs said and why was carnival shut down early?" Justin said.

"What happened?" Theresa asked.

"He was being bullied, Justin. Anyone can lose their temper." Alex exclaimed.

"But if a dragon does, it is way more dangerous than it seems." Justin said.

"Enough with they are dragons thing. I have been with them for so long. They are very kind and sweet and caring. You can ask Juliet about Brenna and Y/N both. She knows them well too." Alex said.

"They might look like that but they are not." Jerry said.

"Why are you guys talking like they are about to do something?" Alex asked.

"You haven't heard about that prophecy, have you?" Jerry facepalmed.

"What Prophecy?" Alex questioned.

"Prophecy about WizTech being burned down to the ground and guess who is going to be responsible for that?" Justin asked. "You are right, The Dagons." He smiled mockingly.

"Oh come on, Prophecies are...you know...just prophecies. This is impossible." Alex said.

"Denial? That's great. Do you know what is the rate of Wizard prophecies being proved right?" Justin asked. Alex nodded no. "A hundred percent." Justin crossed his arms and nodded his head.

"I don't want you to be anywhere near those horrific creatures." Jerry said.

"Dad, Now you are being rude." Alex said.

"I said nothing wrong. No where near them." Jerry pointed his finger at Alex and warned before going to his room.

"I have my eyes on you." Justin said and left too.

"You wanna talk with me?" Theresa asked.

"No, thanks mom." Alex stomped the way to her room. She sat down on her bed, lying her head on the headrest and lost in thoughts. She couldn't stop thinking about what her Dad and brother said. 'Are dragons really that dangerous?' She thought. 'If yes, then Y/N was nothing like what his dad or brother described. Destroying WizTech? Y/N would never do that. Neither will Brenna. I must talk to him.' Alex said to herself as she slowly lied down on the bed and fell asleep.
