1 Prologue

Chirp chirp chirp...

As he opened his eyes, he heard faint sound of birds chirping around his surroundings. Aren tried to remember some things but found his memories blurred.

"Where is this place?" A weak voice came out of Aren's mouth.

The rays of sunlight which pierced through the bundle of leaves and branches, fell on his eyes the moment he opened them. He quickly closed his eyes and pushed his hands against the moist ground.

'Why am I here?' He could only remember that he was going somewhere when that light appeared and somehow he got here.

"I seem to be in some sort a tropical forest." he glanced at the trees and bushes warily.

He knew that, in these types of abnormal situations, he should be cautious about anything suspicious. After confirming that there was nothing that could harm him, he checked his body.

"I have a body of a 8 or 9 year old child, my body doesnot have any damages and I'm currently... stark naked!?"

"What happened to me after that light came?" Aren was in a state of panic. He even had thoughts that he might already be dead and this might be his second life or something like that. Although he was a quick-minded person, there was nothing he could think of in this situation. This phenomenon couldn't be explained by even science.

As Aren tried to recall his memories, he felt an intense pain in his head. But, the expected memories of the child's body didn't appear. Instead, he could now remember that he was the Federation's one of the most highly valued scientist and programmer.

'Ah yes! what happened to others. Could they have died or...also transmigrated somewhere like me?'

"Forget it, I'll think of that later. First, I need to find out where this place is." As Aren tried to stand up, he quickly thought of a direction and went towards it.

...

Whoosh! whoosh!

Two giant eagle like creatures flew past Aren as he was searching for a water source.

It was the noon of the second day he had ''arrived'' at this jungle. Aren had not found a single water source even after searching for two whole days. He was heading towards the west from where many beasts and even birds seem to come from. Due to not eating anything for two days straight, he was very fatigued but what left him astonished was the fact that his body could still hold on.

It had to be taken note that, he was now less than ten years old and he didn't know how long he had been lying on the ground, when he woke up. But he did not have time to think about it because he suddenly noticed something.

"Huh?!" He suddenly stopped.

"These footprints..."

"Its the footprints of a human." Aren examined the area around a tree whose branches had been cut off. There was even a small trail beside which seemed to lead even deeper inside the forest. The appearance of that trail made him further hopeful and glad.

He quickly went down that path as fast as he could. He really needed some food and clothings which could only be found where humans were.

"Also, I need some intel about this world." Aren mumbled to himself as an urgent expression emerged on his face.

After walking for about 5 hours, he noticed that the dense and large number of trees had become sparse. He could also see some faint oultines of humans far away. When it was almost the time for sun to set, he arrived at the outside boundary of a village.

Just when he was about to touch the front gate of the fence, an arrow was pinned to the ground in front of him startling him to the point where he went several steps backward.

A woman's shout was heard from an outpost and very soon the gate was opened, revealing a slender beauty who was holding a longbow with an arrow loaded in it. After coming outside, she quickly scanned the surroundings with those blue eyes of hers.

"Ah!" As her gaze fell on him, she seemed to be suprised that the outsider that she had caught was only a small human child.

"Derhusx fláñtei galrdjj....", She tried to talk to him in an unknown language which only seemed gibberish to Aren. Realising that the human could not understand her words, she stopped speaking and led him inside the village.

Aren could do nothing but only passively follow her as he was tired from all that walking. But soon even his legs gave out, after which he passed out behind the lady.

Before fainting however, he seemed to notice that this slender lady had pointed ears and natural green hairs; which made her quite different from the humans he knew.
