20 Temple

"Finally! After thousands of years, this deity is back," Majin declared, admiring the breathtaking view before him. Yet, it wasn't truly Majin speaking, but another entity controlling his body.

"These pathetic creatures!" Majin sneered disdainfully as he gazed down at the town nestled at the bottom of the hill. His tone bore neither anger nor frustration, but pure disgust; to him, all beings other than himself were inferior Creatures.

{A/N: Momoshiki's Long lost brother!}

"They really dare to build a town here," he mused casually, beginning his descent toward the town.

As he walked, he attempted to assess his chakra reserves. "Pathetic," he muttered disdainfully, appalled by the diminished state of his power.

"How low have I fallen?" he pondered silently. Suddenly, two chakra wings sprouted from his back—akin to those of Susanoo's but more refined and striking, pitch black with crimson edges.

He then took to the sky, his flight consuming a significant portion of his chakra. Despite this, his expression remained carefree, radiating an air of indifference toward the world around him.

"C-Chef! What is that?" a shinobi patrolling the town wall stammered in terror upon spotting the winged figure soaring toward them.

But before the town's defenders could react, hundreds of fire arrows began to rain down upon them.

They struck with such speed that there was no chance to respond, piercing through bodies before exploding and engulfing the shinobis in flames.

"I will kill you, bastard!" The chief, a jonin wielding a spear lunged toward Majin. "Inferior creature," Majin scoffed, forming a Rasengan of fire in his hand. He hurled it at the jonin, who was still midair, burning him alive.

Within just a few minutes, the entire town of 50,000 people was easily destroyed by majin, It was easily destroyed since only about a thousand were shinobi, and all but the jonin were of lower class—rendered helpless before Majin's power.

"Claspia amrata,"

Majin uttered the ancient incantation transforming his chakra into a colossal fire dragon that roared through the air, obliterating what remained of the town and carving a massive crater into the earth.

Below, revealed by the destruction, was a magnificent stone temple, dominated by statues of a strikingly handsome man with long hair and an equally beautiful woman, both exuding an aura of divine presence.

The statue of the woman was so exquisitely crafted she could have been mistaken for a goddess—a true depiction of her identity.

{A/N: Smash!}

"How many years has it been?" Majin mused to himself as he descended toward the temple. "Eight thousand? Ten thousand?"

He genuinely couldn't remember; it had been millennia since the quarrel with his wife, after which he was supposedly slain—a ruse shown to the world.

{A?N: Sigh another one with dementia}

After surveying the temple for several long moments, a mix of nostalgia and contempt brewing within him, Majin conjured a gigantic flame Rasengan.

With a powerful thrust, he unleashed it, shattering the temple to rubble and depleting his chakra by ninety percent. The act was one of definitive destruction, erasing his past in a blaze of fire.

"Hmmm... That thing is not here," Majin mused to himself as he sifted through the ruins of the temple, searching for a particular item. "Looks like I might have placed it somewhere else."

Despite not finding what he was searching for, his expression remained carefree rather than cold, indicative of his knowledge that everything was unfolding according to his plot.

He swiftly manipulated the ground, covering the ruins of the temple to conceal any signs of disturbance. Using the last remnants of his chakra, he created a portal to the land of gambling.

"It should be enough before I go," he thought, stepping towards the swirling gateway.

Before entering the portal, Majin retreated into his mind space, a realm within himself where he encountered another man who bore a striking resemblance to him.

This was the original Majin, whose body had been commandeered by the man now standing before him with long silver hair and piercing purple eyes.

"Who are you?" the original Majin demanded.

The man with silver hair simply smiled enigmatically at the question. "You will find out in the future, but for now, it's time for me to go," he responded. With those words, he vanished, leaving the mind space and relinquishing control of the body back to Majin.

As soon as Majin regained control, he staggered, weakened by the near-total depletion of his chakra.

He collapsed, but not before the portal created by the silver-haired man drew him in, sucking him whole into itself and transporting him to the land of gambling.

{A/N: Dirty minded activated!}
