Synopsis

A normal human male discovers a lamp while digging at a archeological site. Tho it was buried for centuries it has a radiant low glow to it and due to that it has no dirt on it at all, tho there is a clear crack across it. He gently puts it in his bag after wrapping it up and leaves for the rest of the day. In his lab he examines it closely and does all kinds of measurements to detect what energy it is emitting. All signs have no real results, so he takes it in the back to check the crack and see if there's a way to possibly fix it, he first takes a clothe and begins to rub down the crack where the aura is weaker and seems to have some sediment on it. Suddenly a noise comes from in it. He steps back and wonders if it actually came from the lamp, he goes to take off the lid but it is impossible to move, he looks inside the spout and can't see anything, he tries adding light down it but it's as if light can't even enter it. He hears another noise from in and it glows slightly better before dimming again. He runs his finger along the crack and it starts glowing again before stopping. This time he did it on the opposite side but rubs the entire side with his hand. Now it is extremely bright and begins to shake before he puts it down confused and unsure what will happen. Suddenly the spout start to look like it's leaking a galaxy out and then floating from it is a female genie. He just looks in utter confusion, she also looks very confused as she looks around at the world as it is now.

Education is a Power Tool

Education is a fundamental human right and essential for the exercise of any other human rights. It promotes individual freedom and empowerment and yields important development benefits, yet millions of children and adults remain deprived of educational opportunities, usually as a result of poverty. Education is a powerful tool by which economically and socially marginalised adults and children can lift themselves out of poverty and participate fully as citizens. Imagine a world without schools and colleges! No matter how much we hate waking up early for school or studying all night for those tests and exams, an educated person gets better opportunities in life. It is easier for a person to become successful and realise his/her dreams as compared to someone who is uneducated. Education is extremely important because you overcome superstitions. Superstitions are baseless, useless, and may affect your life negatively. Illiterate and uneducated people tend to hold certain superstitious beliefs. Education and awareness are the best ways to combat superstitions and replace such beliefs with reason and logic. Education also helps with keeping up with the world because we live in an ever changing world. New technologies keep coming up, and if you don’t want to be left behind, you must keep up with the world, which is moving really fast. Without education, it will be really difficult for you to adapt to all these changes. An uneducated person is much more aware of the latest technologies and all the changes that are taking place in the world. For example, an uneducated person may not know about the benefits of the internet, whereas an educated person uses this gift of technology regularly for work as well as for entertainment. Education helps with healthcare because illiteracy often breeds ignorance, and this ignorance may prove to be dangerous when it comes to healthcare. Educated people know more about preventive methods which protect them from a number of diseases. An illiterate and ignorant person is likely to ignore the symptoms and avoid seeking medical aid unless the problem becomes very serious. Hence, education enables you to take better care of yourself as well as your family. We need education because we gain wisdom and understanding of the world we live in, and it help us gain respect because the more educated you are, the more respect you will gain from those around you. So, education is what we need if we want an answer to our “what’s”, “how’s”, and “where’s”. You get to understand and know more about your surroundings. Education makes the world a safer and more peaceful place because it majorly affects our common understanding of the difference between right and wrong

A Simple Wanderer

A scar has been carved through the Earth, a jagged canyon extends from the distance. At its end, it's deepest section, waves of heat distort view betone recognition. The crater bleeds molten rock down it's sides, still hot from this landmark's creation. The shadowy visage of a humanoid figure becomes recognisable as it comes further from the pit of magma that is the deepest part of the site. It stumbles, and light shining on its front reveals what looks like a human. Blood streaks down from its closed eyes, drawing lines in the layer of soot coating it. The soot covers it's body, but the light pink of it's exposed muscle couldn't be fully hidden. The skin covering it's heels and back was missing, having been worn onto the rock it parted. There would also be a bit spread through the atmosphere from the entry, but most of what is missing was taken upon impact. "Oh f*ck that hurt like a b*tch. Not my best landing." the creature groaned as it ran it's hands over the wounds. It then reached up and grabbed the dirtied skin of it's skull, and tore it apart like a seam. It ripped it down around his torso, having to push it along his arms like removing a too-tight sock. At the hands, it had to pull the finger tips away like a glove before peeling the skin off completely. The legs and feet were dealt with similarly. Stepping out of its own skin, muscle clear to the air with the exception of what the rock coated in soot, it says "Whelp, new world, new me!" in a tone much lighter than the situation would call for. Hello there. I'm a native English speaker/writer, so I like to think I know what I'm doing with this stuff but really though, I don't. So please correct any of my grammatical, cultural, or progressional (plot) errors in the chapter comments. I'm writing this for fun and to prove that if authors actually think for more than half a second when developing their stories, it can actually be good. I won't be updating very often unless this is met with an abnormally good reception, but yeah. Hope you enjoy!
