2 Witch's Apprentice

The woods looked dark and deep. The leaves flying in the breeze, the muddle pathways, the buzzing sounds of the insects and hisses from the snakes no longer scared her. The trees looked sadder, and there were no flowers in any plants. In the distant stood a lone shack with palm leaves on its roof.

"Is it too late?" The 18 year old girl asked an old lady, walking slowly, knocking on the door of the tiny shack.

"It is never too late Inaya, but I warned, I asked you to not leave, look what you brought upon yourself," the old lady said.

"I regret," the girl confessed.

"Come in, let me prepare the cauldron, dress up, for you will no longer be the same," the old lady warned her.

A witch who predicted the girl's future and asked her to join hands, to become her apprentice always knew everything that would happen in the village, yet no one believed her.

"Inaya, keep the daggers away for now," the witch ordered. "I don't want the spirits attacking you now."

"Yes ma'am," Inaya agreed to it.

The witch began with her black magic. She chanted so many things Inaya did not know or understand. She sacrificed a chameleon, few ants, a rat, and a bone of a human she had collected from the graves far away. She handed the skull to Inaya to pray and put it in the cauldron.

"What is this?" Inaya asked.

"This will build you, take you, to a new world, to become a new person, a new life, you deserve better my child, go finish them off," the witch said. Inaya though hesitated then took the the skull and prayed.

"Help me finish them all," she closed her eyes and offered the skull, throwing them in to the cauldron where all sorts of things were boiling.

"You thought I would let you slip through my fingers, didn't you?" The little girl. Her voice, sharp, but low, she whispered in the ears if the man who stole her perfectly happy little family. She had already slit the throat open whike the giant man was sleeping. He looked like a fish, desperate to go back to water for breathing, when it suffocates staying out for too long. She liked what she saw. She was perverted. She had fallen from the highest good. She became what people call Demons. She became the fallen angel. That man alone did not stop her.

"I will make sure to get all of you, every single one of you, who killed me, and my family," Inaya took an oath.

The hunt continued, the screams echoed through the streets, and haunted the whole village.

"The girl bewitched everyone and is now on a killing spree, we should have murdered her, buried her along with her family." The villagers set out, looking for the Witch's apprentice.

"Kill the old lady and her, burn them alive," the men set out holding fire woods and lanterns. The women and children were scared.

There was a sound of drum and Inaya turned alert. There was only a man left, somewhat the age of 24, her best friend's brother, who didn't even consider the relationship.

"Inaya," her friend begged. "Please spare my family," Inaya's golden eyes scared them all. "Inaya please spare my brother's life, I will help you, I will tell everyone, I will protect you," but Inaya did not care.

"No one can save me now," Inaya smirked and threw her mother's knife she sharpened sitting in front the graves. Inaya did not wait to see what happened. She left the house.

Inaya ran, ran af fast as she could. The sound of the drum felt closer and closer.

"Come with me my child," she heard a voice. Inaya looked at the river in front of her and looked back at the village. There fire blaze blinded her eyes. Inaya shut them. She opened her and fell backward. A life cursed, a village doomed, a mind no more clear.

"May this never happen to anyone in this world, may no one suffer, may no man choose the path of a devil, may no woman die of shame, and may this world become a better place, with only love, happiness, and support. Inaya wished deeply as she fell. "Lord have mercy for selling my soul to the devil, but I do not regret what I did, I shall kill everyone man has stolen my life away from me," she touched the waters. She did not breath. She did not see around.

"There is a girl in here," someone shouted.

"She is drowning, help," an old man screamed. "Come over quickly," he said. A crowd surrounded the river. There long river had parks and cafes on its sides and there was huge bridge built over it.

The guards started the motor boat and looked for the girl who had jumped. They searched the whole area ans finally found a pale girl in her pink dress looking calm. They pulled her hand and took her to the boat. She was laid on the stretcher.

"Hey, hey, can you hear us?" A man asked. He gave her a cpr and patted her cheek.

The girl spat some water and took a long deep breath. She opened her eyes. She coughed.
