Bryce had gone from heaven to hell rather quickly. Things had been going impossibly well for him since Sunday and one screwup while half asleep was all it took to ruin two months of progress.

He couldn't get the heartbroken look on Jenna's face out of his head long after he gave up trying to apologize at her door. At lot of things made more sense now after her little outburst but that didn't make him feel any better. 

She had loved him a lot more than he originally gave her credit for if she had been planning on taking him home with her once she got her life back. And here he thought she only gave in because she didn't have anyone else left and didn't want to be alone.
