"You're right," Jenna admitted. "I'm going to have to try. Bryce deserves my full attention tonight."

Killian's version of a smile appeared. "Have you figured out what you're going to say to him once you're out of the program? I assume you are going to want to stay in contact."

"Of course I am! I'm taking him with me even if I have to drag him kicking and screaming."

"…that's kidnapping."

Jenna sighed at his lack of ability to tell when someone was joking. What exactly did his wife see in him, anyway? Tammie was so exuberant that it was honestly shocking she fell in love with someone so…not.

"I'm kidding, Killian. I might be stressed about it but I do believe he cares about me enough to accept the truth and want to make the move to Florida. He doesn't have anything keeping him here."
