Michael eye's snapped open as he sat up abruptly, as he looked around warily , only to begin calming down as he found himself in their private medical ward, as he closed his eyes before his last memories appeared in his mind, He waited around to see if any of his women will appear, only to find himself waiting for no one before he realized they were most likely busy dealing with any issues that sprung up

Plugging the drip out of his hand that was feeding the healing solution into his body, he slowly climbed out of bed finding and got to his feet, only to stumble as he found himself much weaker than he remembered

Frowning Michael brought up his status, only for his eyes to widened as he saw it

' so I was right ' thought Michael as he eyed his status as he blurred around the room, before he tested his strength, finding he could finally utilize everything he had, making him frown. From the beginning of that entire fight, he found himself suppressed which would have never happened because of his skills and experience but yet it did

He was on-guard the entire time but he was still caught off guard and injured because of it. He could dodge and catch sniper bullets because of his reaction time but he found that even though he saw those wild, slow ass punches, his body didn't follow his orders and he got his ass handed to him

It was like he was shackled....

' so this is why worlds have a upper Tier, that can't be surpassed no matter how talented the person.....it's so the world can still exert it's control over them ' thought Michael with gritted teeth as he felt his anger building

' I was arrogant ' thought Michael. He had hundreds of stat points from completing his missions and from advancing his skills and yet he never added any.....he wanted to save them.....grow naturally. He cursed himself for those naive thoughts.....all it took after all his training and preparation....was the world to shackle his movements and he proceeded to get his ass handed to him by a low tier protagonist jacked up with plot armor

He wouldn't tell anyone, he'd take this secret to his grave....but he was 100% sure that he had died

He felt himself drifting in a dark place before he heard a voice, even with his enhanced memory he couldn't remember it's words and whatever being put his soul back in his body, took control of his system and added 200 points to his vitality causing all his stats to shoot through the roof as his body healed itself

As grateful as he found himself for their timely assistance and his resurrection, he hated that feeling....that helplessness.....not being in control of his life and his own fate, his blood boiled at the thought of someone who could just snuff out his very existence before he took deep breaths to calm himself

' someone who can casually take control of something as ancient as the systems isn't someone I should worry about right now ' thought Michael before his eyes glowed silver as he started using his energy ' I don't know if you're listening or why you did what you did but I'm thankful, I promise on my soul that I'll repay this favor one day ' thought Michael as his eyes burned with determination

Only to be snapped out of his thoughts when he heard something drop, glancing behind him, he looked at Shizuka who had tears streaming down her face as she covered her mouth and sobbed as she looked at him, a towel with a bucket of warm water on the floor by her feet, making him feel warm

Michael gave her a slight smile as he opened his arms to embrace her as she shot himself into his arms and cried her heart out on his chest, as he just held her and stroked her hair. He heard the door opening and raised his head and his eyes met with all his woman who had similar expressions to Shizuka, even Avrora was there

He spent the next hour just soothing and calming his women as he let the tension leave their bodies

" What happened " asked Saya as she rest her head on Michael's shoulder her bangs hiding her red and puffy eyes, her question caused the others who were close by to look at him as they wanted to know as well

" I'm not sure to be honest " replied Michael as he stroked the hair of Kyoko who was laying on his lap

" what do you mean " asked Avrora with a frown though he could smell the worry coming from her

" you remember my bad feeling? " asked Michael, gaining several nods from everyone before he continued explaining

" I had just killed the last of the competitors, but the bad feeling still haunted my mind, making me stay on guard but I was caught off guard by a punch which nearly broke my arm " explained Michael calmly causing the girls to widen their eyes, especially Yuuki as she had the highest strength after him

" but that's not possible, one you were on guard, two you can move as the speed of sound and your reaction speed is even more ridiculous, someone with higher stats can only outclass you so much " said Saya as she analyzed what he said causing the others to look at her, before they could break into discussion, Michael spoke

" I was suppressed " said Michael causing them to freeze as most had looks of confusion

" the world " muttered Avrora, causing realization to dawn on the faces of everyone before Yumi slapped her palm unto her fist as she exclaimed

" so that's what happened "

" what do you mean ? " asked Misuzu as she wasn't following along, as were the others

" do you remember how one minute we were dealing with the rest of the army then the next thing we remember is waking up in the battle field before we looked for Michael " she explained as every ones eyes widened, including Michaels' as he had no idea that the world would put his women to sleep as well

" it put us to sleep so we couldn't help Michael in his fight " said Kyoko as she raised her head from his lap with a angry expression

" wait so why did the world suppress you ? " asked Yuuki as she still couldn't figure that part out

" because the cause of this zombie virus, seemed to have possessed.....Takashi " explained Michael as he looked between Rei and Saya who had dark looks

" he's the main character of this story " said Avrora causing the room to delve into silence

" how long was I asleep and what did you guys do in that time ? " asked Michael trying to change the subject
