14 Chapter 14: Strongman Locks Man (Edited)

Hope introduced herself in a ladylike manner, once again causing a wave of unabashed wolf whistles from the boys in the class.

Upon hearing her name, Clark couldn't help but frown.

Hope van Dyne! Yet another name that appeared in a Marvel movie.

The second-generation Wasp! Could it be such a coincidence?

Moreover, according to the plot of "Ant-Man 1", the second-generation Wasp didn't seem to live in New York either.

As the wolf whistles died down, the class teacher, Kara, spoke again: "Now that everyone has met, please, Hope, find an empty seat and sit down. We're about to start the lesson."

The only empty seat in the class was next to the window and next to another beauty in the class, the dream girl of Kick-Ass, Katie Deauxma. Hope naturally took her backpack and sat in that spot. Teacher Kara then knocked on the blackboard with her pointer, quieting everyone down before officially starting the first lesson of the new semester.

A summer of training not only gave Clark a strong body but also made him more spirited and even his mind became much more agile than before. He quickly grasped the key points of the teacher's lesson, and various problem-solving approaches were easily understood after a bit of thought.

He even had this strange feeling: everything the teacher talked about five minutes after the class started was nonsense! Could it be that with the enhancement of his physique, he also had the potential to become a top student?

With a puzzled happiness, the bell for the end of the class finally rang.

"Class is dismissed, you can move around freely now." At the first sound of the bell, Teacher Kara immediately stopped the question she was halfway through and announced the end of the class.

There's nothing big about holding back here.

Today, the class was destined to have two protagonists. The inspirational story of Clark's transformation from a fat guy to a hero was certainly inspiring, but the female protagonist, Hope, was obviously more of a scene-stealer.

As soon as Teacher Kara had just stepped out of the classroom, she couldn't wait to pick up her backpack and walk towards Clark...

In front of everyone in the class, Hope came to the desk next to Clark, where Dave sat, dazed by happiness, and showed a sweet smile: "Excuse me, my eyesight is not very good, could we switch seats?"

After hearing her request, Dave felt a bit disappointed, but then he immediately became excited again. Compared to Hope, Katie Deauxma was his goddess!

Due to his shy nature, he had been too embarrassed to approach the goddess before, but now that he had a legitimate reason to do so, he wouldn't refuse. He immediately nodded like a pecking chicken, displaying a very righteous demeanor: "Since Hope has a difficulty, then please sit here. I'll move over."

After Dave efficiently packed up his desk and moved, Hope successfully settled down next to Clark and extended her right hand: "Hello, my name is Hope, nice to meet you."

A great opportunity! Clark's mind raced, and he immediately thought of a network novel he had read before crossing over, responding with: "How happy?"

Received an impression score of +66 from Hope van Dyne!

Hope was startled but quickly regained her smile: "Very happy!"

This time it was Clark's turn to be confused.

The second-generation Wasp was also a superhero who appeared in Marvel movies, although she didn't have her own solo film or join the Avengers, her fate shouldn't seem less significant than Kick-Ass.

But after testing, the impression score she gave him was indeed not as much as Dave's.

Was it because she wasn't really the Wasp, or was the impression he left on her not deep enough? That's a question! With doubts, Clark gentlemanly extended his hand, lightly touching hers: "My name is Clark, you can also call me Clark. I'm also very happy to meet you, very happy."

Testing and such, there will be plenty of opportunities in the future, there's no need to keep playing jokes upon first meeting, that would be too ungentlemanly.

"Hope, if you're looking for a boyfriend, I don't think Clark is a good choice." As soon as their hands were released, a boy sitting in the front row spoke sarcastically: "Some people may look strong, but in reality, they are not that useful."

Clark frowned and turned to look, it was a guy from the class named Belgerin.

This guy wasn't the type to cause trouble without reason, so him taking the initiative to pick a fight today was definitely because he was interested in Hope.

You can chase a girl without stepping on me to prove your worth, right? Who do you think you are! Clark pondered for two seconds, considering how to retort, but Hope beat him to it: "You, who don't even look good, what right do you have to talk about Clark?"

Belgerin was stunned by Hope's retort and then became furious. He immediately reached out to grab Hope's collar, only to be caught by Hope first. With a twist of her hand and a trip of her foot, his body went straight forward.

The movement was smooth and clean!

And Hope did not let him simply fall down but gracefully helped him up. However, her helping action seemed a bit...

As Belgerin was about to fall, Hope extended her right hand at that moment, using her seemingly frail but actually strong arm to wrap around Belgerin's neck, preventing him from falling while also making it impossible for him to resist or even breathe easily.

"Clap! Clap! Clap!" Belgerin's face turned red, and he could only forcefully pat the desk next to him to indicate surrender.

The sudden turn of events left Clark stunned.

A strong man locks a man!

Indeed a master! Seeing that Belgerin had given up, Hope proudly released her arm, and Belgerin, with a face full of shame, fled the classroom, no longer daring to provoke this powerful beauty.

Dusting off her hands, which were clean to begin with, Hope turned back to Clark with an innocent smile, explaining: "This guy was just too annoying, otherwise, I wouldn't have acted. I'm usually very ladylike, you know!"

Clark immediately raised his hands: "With your skills, I'll believe anything you say!"

Received an impression score of +233 from Hope van Dyne!

Now, it was finally confirmed that she was indeed the second-generation Wasp!

......

The first day of school life quickly passed.

Having learned from the lesson of being mugged by thugs last time, Clark was always extra cautious about this aspect, even choosing the most secluded route home from school.

If he could encounter a few thugs to brush some impression points, wouldn't that be wonderful?

"Clark!" Just as Clark had just entered a small alley, a somewhat familiar female voice suddenly came from behind. Turning his head, it was a European-looking girl who seemed quite pleasant to the eye.

Clark also had a deep impression of this girl.

The legendary girl who had previously mesmerized a gorilla and put all the boys in the class to sleep, making Clark's fame of 9.58 seconds widely known, was none other than this legendary girl—Crawford Xingil.
