The Ender

Godson wasted little time in turning the car around and driving away. he knew that the enemy he faced was one that he wasn't ready to fight.

He drove as fast as he could but no matter how much he accelerated, the Ender was just right behind him. no maneuver he tried could shake off his pursuer, and no turn could get the Ender to lose sight of him.

He drove, and drove, and drove. and at one point he just said "f**k it" and stopped the car.

"wait here" he said to Eve as he stepped out of the car and stood upon the clouds, then he looked at the Ender and said out loud "it was pretty peaceful before you came to our world"

"so please can you can you go back to where ever you came from?"

"I'm still asking nicely" he said as he pulled out his staff with the inscription 'Shamgar' and the code read 'JUDG3:31'

"Ha ha ha ha ha" the Ender laughed

"not only did did you insult me with a threat,"

"you also added to it by pulling out a staff against me"

"not even swords can do me harm"

"what do you expect to with that?"

"you'll see" Godson replied as he dashed to attack with a full swing of his staff.

the Ender remained where he stood as Godson made his advancement, he felt no need to evade an attack from someone saw as weak and he was sure that there was no way a staff could cause him any harm.

But right before Godson got close to the Ender, he said in a calm voice "switch armor" and the code and the inscription of the armor changed. the code read 'JUDG13-16' and the inscription beside it read 'Samson' then he got close and swung at the Ender with all his might and struck at the shoulder.

to the surprise of the Ender, he found himself bursting through the clouds, spinning out of control. by the time he regained his balance, Godson was right it front and was already throwing a punch at him. the punch landed on his face and sent him downwards into the depths of the ocean.

"How is this possible?" the Ender wondered as he tried to regain his balance under the water

"is he not just an ordinary human?"

"how can he wield so much power?"

"anyway"

"no more playing around" he said as his eyes glowed like ember under the water. the water around him began to boil and evaporate at the high rate.

Godson noticed glowing part of the water as he descended on it. not long after he had landed, he saw the Ender fly out of the boiling spot and dash towards him.

he narrowly escaped the claws of the Ender but he got hit by a knee attack on the stomach and was sent bouncing on the water surface like rock being skipped on a river. he immediately regained his balance but when he looked up, the Ender was already in front of him.

Godson got grabbed by the hair and was thrown back into the clouds. the Ender immediately dashed after him and immediately and began hitting him with a barrage of attacks.

all Godson could do was to cough up blood. his enemy was too fast and there was no opening for him to even make a move and counter. he just stood there and took the hits wondering when they won't end.

"I could have killed you a thousand times over" the Ender said

"but that would leave me without satisfaction" he added

"for the insult you dared to lay upon me, I shall take my time and slowly kill you"

"I will not grant you an easy death"

the Ender spoke these words as he kept landing his attacks on Godson. just as he was about to land another hit, he felt something coming from behind him. he looked back and saw Eve coming at him with extreme speed. before he could do anything, Eve got him on the chest and sent him far into the distance.

as soon she was done sending the Ender into the distance, Eve immediately turned her attention towards who was falling through the clouds. she immediately dashed and caught him and flew him back to car.

"how are you able to do that?" Godson asked as Eve placed him on the passenger seat but she just gave him the usual answer that is "I don't know"

"there has to be a reasonable explanation" he said

"nothing really happens by chance" he added

"that isn't what you should be worrying about right now"Eve replied

"right now, you should be worrying about your injuries"

"don't worry" Godson replied

"my injuries are minor"

"luckily, my armor took most of the damage so I'm still in good shape"

"no" Eve said to Godson

"you are not in any condition to fight" she added

"if that dragon guy should return, I do not have confidence in our survival"

"so please, just listen to me and let's get out of here" she said as she got into the car's driver seat and started the engine, then she immediately hit the gas and sped off.

"wow" Eve said to Godson as she kept driving. she was driving in the opposite direction from where she had punched the Ender.

"I never would have thought that I would one day be staring death in the face"

"and not only that, but also that I would be fighting against a powerful dragon"

"even right now, I'm still wondering if all of this is real and not just some extremely long dream"

"I assure you, it is" Godson replied

"but most of the time I can't just help but wish that it wasn't" he said as he sat up straight looking at Eve who just suddenly went silent and was slowing down the car.

"what's wrong?" he asked, and Eve just silently pointed forward with a shivering right hand. as soon Godson looked forward to see, his entire vision was occupied with the sight of the flames that were coming towards him.
