Entrance Exam.

The sun's morning rays pierced through the window of Verona's room. She got up and went into the bathroom. She took a bath and got dressed in today's attire. A white sleeveless shirt, covered by a black cloak embroidered with gold. A dark skirt that fell short of her knees, black stockings lined with gold, and black heels also lined with gold. She topped it all off by tying her red hair in a right-side ponytail, with a black ribbon Reina bought for her.

She exited her room and saw Reina in the same outfit although they had opposite colors. Reina tied her red hair in a left side ponytail, with a white ribbon. They walked out of the Inn skipping breakfast and walked towards the Academy.

They arrived at the Academy 15 minutes later. A long line of examinees could be seen from miles away. The examinees were a mix of commoners and nobles. The nobles separated themselves from the commoners and actively bullied them.

"Reina, we are joining the noble line. It would be stupid to act as commoners." Verona said as she walked to the noble line.

"But Big Sister, won't they know we aren't nobles?" Reina questioned.

"Nobles from many different kingdoms come to enroll in the Academy. I also made us a magic crest, so they won't be so suspicious." Verona said quietly.

"Hello! Welcome to the 120th entrance exam for the Reian Academy of Magic and Knights. This entrance exam will have 3 tests. The first test will test your endurance, the second test will test your might, and the last test will test your skill." A middle-aged man with greying hair said as he descended from the sky.

"Reina, make sure you pass the first test. It would be detrimental to my plans if you didn't." Aspara said not looking at Reina.

"Yes, Big Sister!" Reina said with determination.

"The first test has 1 rule, no killing. Without further ado, let the first test commence! You will run out of the city, and to the end of the Deep Forest. There you will find a checkpoint. Only 900 will be able to pass!" The middle-aged man said and students began running.

Verona and Reina began running as well until Verona thought back on the 'rules'.

"Reina, unfurl your wings and make a magic circle to make it seem like magic." Verona said as she unfurled her wings with a magic circle.

The other examinees saw the use of magic and also began using magic. Note that commoners don't have access to magic or awakening stones, the nobles left the commoners behind. Verona and Reina flew at high speeds, creating a large gap between them and the magic-using-nobles.

"Reina dodge left!" Verona said as she moved right, dodging a large fireball. Reina listened and move out of the way as well.

"Speed up." Verona said creating a sonic boom.

Reina followed and they reached the checkpoint 2 minutes later. They landed and picked up two of the checkpoint rings. The rest of the nobles landed and shot Verona and Reina dirty looks.

They waited for a few hours until the first commoners started breaking through the forest undergrowth. The first few picked up checkpoints and continued to until they were all gone.

"That ends the first test! Inject mana into your rings to be teleported to the next area." The middle-aged man said from above.

Verona and Reina disappeared in a flash of light and reappeared in a room filled with physical testing equipment. The rest of the passing group appeared behind them.

"As I said previously, the second test is testing your physical might. At each of the 5 stations, the instructor stationed there will tell you the passing requirement." The middle-aged man said as he disappeared again.

"Reina, on each test use 100% of your power. Holding back is not in our blood." Verona said as she walked to the first station.

The first station was a strength tester by punch. It was a big red box held by a metal rod.

"Punch as hard as you can." The instructor said lazily.

"HA!" Verona punched so fast that her hand created a gust of wind.

The number stopped at 12,000 as it couldn't count any higher. The surrounding students and the instructor were shocked. Before they could recover, they heard another 12,000 from another station. At that point, everyone had one thought.

'These sisters are terrifying!!'

Verona smiled slightly when she heard another 12,000. She moved onto the next station which was a reflex tester. It was a metal box with multiple magic circles glowing inside. The instructor activated the mechanism and the magic circles shot bolts of magic towards Verona's location. The speed continued to increase and Verona dodged effortlessly. The speed increased to the point in which fatal wounds could be inflicted if hit. Verona dodged with ease until the test ended.

She walked out and heard the instructor say she passed before going to the next station. The next station was outside on a track, the details were to run 1KM in under 20 minutes. Verona saw Reina coming to the same station and they nodded at each other.

"Hey, Big sis want to race!" Reina said excited.

"Yeah sure, I want to test how fast I can go anyway." Verona said being a tsundere.

The other participants of the station arrived and the instructor shot a magic bolt into the air signifying the start. Verona and Reina ran so fast they created afterimages, they finished the 1KM in under a minute. With Verona getting 35 seconds and Reina getting 35.01.

"I win." Verona said aloofly.

Reina pouted and followed Verona to the next station. Everyone else doing the test was shocked, they just ran 1KM in under 45 seconds. The next station was a jump tester, the directions are self-explanatory. Verona got on the metal platform and jumped with all her physical might. The instructor calculating the height with a magic monocle was shocked!

[300 Meters!]

Verona jumped 300 meters into the air by sheer physical strength. The nobles were jealous but didn't voice their opinions. Reina did the same test and got slightly lower.

[298 Meters!]

She resolved to become stronger for her Mistress, she followed Verona to the last station a weight lifting station. The bar itself was 50 kilos, Verona lifted the bar with one hand. She added more weights until it was around 1.5 tons. She struggled a little bit but lifted it up. When she dropped the bar back down, a loud boom rang out.

"Oops." Verona said not sorry.

Reina lifted the bar with ease and added more weights until it was around the same as her Mistresses record. She lifted it up and struggled a bit as well.

"You two pass, follow me." An instructor said and they followed him into a waiting room. The room was full of refreshments and slaves waited by the wall.

"Don't eat or drink anything." Verona said to Reina who was grabbing for a cookie.

They waited a couple of hours and only 400 of the 900 examinees passed the 2nd test. The entire group was sweaty and tired.

"That ends the 2nd test and the last one will commence once you inject mana into your rings. The final test will test your martial and magical skills, for commoners it's martial only although they can try the magical area as well." The middle-aged man said appearing and disappearing.

Verona and Reina once again disappeared in a flash of light and reappeared in a large arena. They walked to the martial area and waited for the instructor to appear. A tall burly man appeared and looked at Reina and Verona's delicate bodies not believing they passed the last test with such results.

"You both fight me at the same time, swords only." The instructor said.

Verona and Reina giggled with each other before drawing their blades, Verona with a rapier and Reina with a longsword. They both vanished leaving afterimages behind and struck at the instructor, who was shocked at their speed but regained his composure. He dodged Reina's attack and clashed blades with Verona and stepped back a little at her strength. Reina angry she was dismissed, swung her blade with enough speed to cause the wind the change. The instructor broke away from the clash with Verona and jumped away from Reina's swing. Verona landed onto the ground, shot forwards, and stabbed multiple times she stabbed fast enough to create afterimages of the previous attack. The instructor overwhelmed with Verona's attack was also faced with Reina's attack and surrendered.

"You two pass the martial aspect of this test. You should enroll into the knight school." The instructor said going back to his tent.

They walked to the magical side of the arena and waited for the instructor. The instructor walked out of her tent.

"You, fight me first." She said pointing at Reina.

Reina nodded and took the wooden staff off her back.

"I'm ready!" Reina said and multiple ice spikes flew at her.

She dodged them and created a magic circle containing a new spell inspired by her Mistress' magic.

"Explode!" A red lightning bolt flew from the magic circle and at the instructor's mana shield. It cracked the mana shield and the instructor signified the end of the test.

"You pass, next." The instructor said throwing Reina a red coin.

Verona stood up and took out her wand.

"I'm ready." She said flatly.

A large spike of ice formed under her, she jumped into the air and dodged. She stepped on the by stepping on magic circles. She formed a Tri-layered magic circle.

"Infernaris!" A large lance of crimson flames erupted from the magic circle. The instructor paled and fortified her mana shield. The lance was stopped by her mana shield but was able to crack it still.

"You pass, next." The instructor said panting a little as she threw Verona a red coin.

"Now my plan starts."
