Taking the microphone Daniel calmly said "I hate to interrupt everyone's meals, but I need to advise everyone of this early.  The owners of this establishment have some clear rules, not only for individual guests but also for events hosted here.  These include specific rules about behaviour of people who come into the building and impacts of behaviours of guests at events and what that means for the event.  One guest, unknown to myself, my brother and sister-in-law, has taken it into her hands and assaulted someone elsewhere in the premises.  Assaulting any person, whether another guest or a staff member not only sees the police called and the person who committed the assault removed, it also sees them and people with them escorted from the premises.  If they are at an event, the event it terminated with immediate effect."
