8 Chapter 8: Upgrading Amelia.

"That went quite well, don't you think?" Aster asked as he turned the long table and chairs into two nice and cozy recliners.

"That sure did, with all that awe and intimidation you put them through. But do tell me, is there a water spirit in the world?" Amelia asked, making herself comfortable on the recliner.

Queen of Nightmares: "Those books really did a good job, seeing they helped Aster handle the negotiations like a pro."

Kazuma: "I have decided, I am going to read those books. Damn, that was cool!"

Koro Sensei: "I hate to rain on your parade, but if you did what Aster just did, it would make you look like an idiot. He looked cool and domineering even with his kind persona showing, his face and demeanor brought them together."

Queen of Nightmares: "Agreed, Aster has that cool prince vibe yet you look like mob 27 among the hillbillies."

Aster: "Don't worry, once you have sufficient power, the world will find you cool enough. Keep working hard Kazuma."

Koro Sensei: "Don't give him hope Aster, he is the kind who gets a big head, you will never hear the end of it."

Amelia: "Agreed."

Queen of Nightmares: "+1."

Kazuma: "Arent Aster and Amelia-san together right now?"

Aster: "Yup, she is sitting right before me."

Queen of Nightmares: "How are you going to explain the changes Amelia-san will have after she takes the potions."

Aster: "I simply told them I have a gift planned for my boss and that will take care of the rest. Besides, it will get me some much-needed attention."

Kazuma: "Why do you want to get attention, when you can rather lay low?"

Aster: "Simple, It will let the others know that there exists someone that they should not offend nor annoy. I don't want to deal with idiots who think they are some bigshots to get frozen into a popsicle by me in the next few seconds."

Queen of Nightmares: "The books really did a great job, I am tempted to give them a try myself now."

"Amelia, you can follow Crystal, she will lead you to the bath, and be sure to remove your clothes before you take the potions and give me your wand, I want to try something," Aster spoke as he plugged his earbuds in.

"Make sure you don't damage it, it's very important for a witch." Amelia stood up and handed him her wand, reminding him of its importance.

"Don't worry, I am just going to use it as a reference." Aster smiled and started browsing the Supernet.

He was looking up magical foci, how to make them, and their workings. Amelia's wand was in really good shape and using it, he could easily analyze and emulate her magical parameters and make a magical focus suitable for her.

Looking up for the best designs, he found a beautiful spring-themed ring with a crystal on it. He waved his hand as the ring started forming, the ice condensed and took on a silver hue and the crystal had an ice wisp inside it to act as the core. [pic here.]

After making one, it was no problem for him to make another. He made a crystal pendant for Ruri and opened the chat and sent it to her.

Queen of Nightmares: "Wow, this is absolutely gorgeous, thank you so much Aster, didn't this cost a lot?"

Aster: "Nah, made them myself, made one for Amelia to be her spare magical focus so that she can use magic without her wand, yours basically is is an air conditioner without a magical core."

Queen of Nightmares: "Wow, this really is good. Now I can go around without feeling hot in the summer. Once again, thanks a lot for this Aster."

Kazuma: "Hey, where are our gifts?"

Koro Sensei: "Yeah, you can't just ignore us and give the good stuff to the girls only."

Aster: "Calm down you two, I made them for the girls because the design is for girls, find a nice design and I will make you one too."

Kazuma: "Can you make me a nice battle gear?"

Aster: "I can, but I don't think I should make you an ice armor, you'll probably freeze to death. But a knife or sword can be made if you have a magical scabbard that can seal the ice blade when not in use."

Kazuma: "I think I can manage that, let me check."

Koro Sensei: "Just send me a small crystal or something like that, that'll be easier to manage since I don't use jewelry."

Aster: "Sure."

"Aster, I think I might need a really good excuse, your gift is not going to cut it anymore." a beautiful voice came from behind Aster.

He turned to look at her and got a really pleasant surprise, Amelia just went 2.0 and she looked really beautiful. [pic here.]

"I really need to step up my game as your bodyguard, the men are going to drool all over you now." Aster chuckled making Amelia blush and fidget around with her toes.

Well, it was quite awkward for her too, she felt like had de-aged back to her teenage years and for her who did not get any time to spare in maintaining her beauty, regaining her youthful beauty, it was like a dream for her, but no less awkward.

Just thinking about how she will face her niece when she returns for the Christmas Holidays, was giving her a massive headache.

"Don't worry, just say that I gave you a de-aging potion and froze it like that, I will deal with the rest." Aster smiled.

"You will get mobbed by witches till you die." Amelia scoffed.

"Don't worry, after I start turning idiots into popsicles, they will know not to annoy me or do anything to draw my ire," Aster replied confidently.

"Here, take this," Aster threw her the ring he made for her.

"That ring is a magical focus, crafted for you specifically. It will let you use wandless magic and amplify your magic as it nourishes your mana core over time. Just use the Chat Group to equip it and it will be bound to you permanently." Aster explained about the ring.

Amelia looked at the ring in her hands and could feel the cool stream of magic flowing from it, it felt much better than when she had held her wand for the first time, as the ring was made just for her, while the wand chose her because she was compatible.

"Thanks, Aster, it's beautiful, I will cherish it." She said in a soft voice with thankfulness overloaded in her voice.

Aster quickly snapped a picture and sent it to the Chat Group.

Aster: "This is the princess that I will work under, don't you think it will be hard for me to keep the never-ending line of suitors away from her?"

Queen of Nightmares: "Wow, Amelia-san looks so pretty. I can already see the men lining up after her."

"Hey, remove that picture." said a slightly blushing Amelia.

"Nope, the guys need to see the Amelia 2.0, you should be happy that you look so pretty, or would you look fugly like Kazuma?" Aster chuckled.

"Alright, but no more taking photos without permission," Amelia said with a strict voice.

Kazuma: "Wow, Amelia-san please tell me that you don't have a boyfriend."

Queen of Nightmares: "Shut up you pervert, don't drool over Amelia-san."

Kazuma: "Why do you mind? It's not like anyone will like you with that washboard figure of yours."

Queen of Nightmares: "Shut up Scummyzuma."

Koro Sensei: "Scummyzuma +1."

Amelia: "Don't tease your elders Kazuma. Find someone around your own age."

Koro Sensei: "Wait if we go with that analogy, then Aster will have to marry a dinosaur."

Queen of Nightmares: "True..."

Kazuma: "HAHAHAHAHAHA, no matter what he does Aster will be labeled as a lolicon. HAHAHAHAHAHAAHA."

Amelia: "..."

Aster: "Let the future take care of itself, I have the present to deal with."

Koro Sensei: "Poetic."

Queen of Nightmares: "I was wondering if there is a story about Aster, are there stories on our lives too, maybe in other worlds?"

Kazuma: "Your life sure does. There was a game called Oreimo, or One no Imouto wa konna ni kawai wake ga nai, and it also got an anime adaptation sometime later, miss Kuroneko." Kazuma teased her.

Queen of Nightmares: "So, what happens inside it?"

Kazuma: "Kyousuke is a pervert and he does many R-18 scenes with you, including a few heavy ones. You get pregnant during your school and then find him screwing with another girl and kill them both and then yourself."

Kazuma: "That was the game, I have not seen the anime. So, happy to know your future?"

Aster: "Well, that's the failed ending. In the game, it is found that Kyousuke is not Kirino's biological brother. Kirino confessed to Kyousuke during her final 'life consultation' as 'siblings' in her route. Their romantic relationship has been approved by Daisuke & Yoshino, while Kuroneko, Saori, Ayase & Manami gave their blessings."

Kazuma: "When did you play through that? And how on earth did you reach the true end?"

Aster: "They were quite simple choices to make and reading through the plot was quite easy after the characters started filling out."

Koro Sensei: "Another ruined by the dark side of the internet. But is there a story about my life as well?"

Aster: Yes, I have yet to watch that anime, I just saw a few trailers."

Queen of Nightmares: "I have the manga, but I didn't watch the anime."

Koro Sensei: "Why didn't you guys tell me about this before?"

Kazuma: "You didn't ask."

Aster :"+1."

Queen of Amelia: "+1."

Amelia: "Is there a story for me as well?"
