69 Chapter 69: Dealing with the Demon.
"You will never win against the otherworldly magic. Fall and DESPAIR!!!!" the Demon screeched with his harsh voice when he was interrupted, "don't give the other worlds a bad name, you are going to make people have trust issues with us..."
A familiar voice sounded in the darkest moment and the next thing they saw was the trio of Aster, Koro, and Meroeoleona appear out of nowhere.
The demon was furious when he was interrupted time and again, but this time he was done holding back, "Blade of Swo..." The demon looked at the figure floating before him and the words that he was about to speak were stuck in his throat.
"You really have caused a huge mess... Let's deal with this creepy tentacle thing first... Ice Magic: Winter's Touch."
The creepy crawly things froze over in an instant and the next thing they saw was something they would never forget. Aster simply flicked the frozen creature and it broke apart into snowflakes and disappeared into thin air.
"Ryu, help Mimosa fix Raia and then anyone else that needs medical attention," Aster spoke and took out his compass from his spatial pocket.
He opened it and saw it point east, Aster looked up and sighed, "now for you... what should I do with you?"
The demon was borderline hysteric by now, he screamed at the top of its screeching voice, "what is something like you doing here? you... you are not even supposed to have a form, why? why? why? why?"
"Why is it that every time that I painstakingly build up everything, it all crumbles away at the final moment, at first, that damned price and that damned lass, I had to spend 500 years planning, preparing, and manipulating for this to happen and even now I am faced with hindrances, one after the other. Finally, when I have a physical form and a grimoire, when everything was supposed to be perfect, a damned being like you appears... AAARHHHHHHH!!!!!"
Licht and Lumiere <1st wizard king> were surprised as well, but it was a really positive boost, unlike the demon who was on the brink of despair himself. They knew that the one standing before them was an existence that was much higher than any of them, even the insurmountable existence of the demon seemed to be dwarfed when compared to him.
From the demon's hysteric cries, they were sure that the one before them was not a human and this was a bit of surprise for Asta, and Yami who knew Aster personally. The latter could still handle the shock with the explanation from the demon, 'huh~ the ice-brat was not a human after all... well, that explains the scary amount of love mana has towards him.'
"Wait, the ice-brat is not a human, does not resemble an elf either, from the purity of his magic, he can't be a demon as well... Damn it, hey ice-brat!! what on earth are you then?" asked the confused Yami.
"It's never too late for introductions, nice to meet you all, my name is Aster Frost, I am the Winter Spirit from a different world, but don't compare me with this foul being, I doubt the number of his brain cells exceeds the number of fingers I have on a single hand." Aster chuckled.
"What, you mean you are like the little spirit that follows Yuno or the Fire Salamander spirit?" Asta asked with a shock that his little figure could barely contain.
"Nah, I am what you can call an origin spirit, while little Bell over there is an elemental spirit." Aster chuckled.
"Let's leave all that for later and deal with this creepy guy over here." Aster waved his hand and thousands of ice spears formed behind him and launched toward the demon.
"Shatter!" the spears shattered but not all of them, Aster moved half of them with spatial magic that transported the spears a hair's breadth away from the demon and released them after the demon used his word magic.
The creepy guy was caught off-guard and the next thing he knew was that he turned into a porcupine with spears impaling every inch of him. The spears did not disintegrate as they slowly started spreading over the demon's body.
"Wait, this one is mine!!!" Madoka rushed in!! breaking through the wall!!
"About time, don't you think..." Aster.
"Yeah, I was really wondering where she was, away from the festivities..." Koro Sensei.
"We are doing this together... Madoka, seal him in a scroll, I will hold it in a separate space and Ryu will blast him with anti-matter." Let's go, Aster smiled while the other two nodded, though reluctantly.
The execution was meticulous, like a well-practiced set of movements with no break in rhythm. It was a swish, pop, and a bang. The demon was sealed and destroyed like it was no big deal and a notification popped up.

"I know it's a bit sudden, but we were here for a job and now that it's done, we will return back to where we came from." Aster smiled.
Aster was bout to open his Black Bull Robe, reluctance was clear in his eyes... "keep that, you will always be a member of the Black Bulls, no matter in which world you are, let that robe remind you of that. Goodbye, icy-brat.~"
"See you again captain, and by the time I am here again, please get married... You are too old to remain unmarried. And Asta, don't you dare give up, you have a dream to live up to...." Aster smiled.
"You know, my full name is Korogane Ryushi, we share the same homeland Yami-san" Koro.
Madoka walked up to Mereoleona and raised her hand, "let's meet on some quest again." the two women shared a laugh and a fist-bump.
"Don't worry about Julius or the capital, both are well. Now leave this place with victorious smiles, may our fates align and we meet again. But, before we leave, two parting gifts..."

Aster gave a sword each to Yami and Asta, who had yet to unsheathe them, they held the blades and smiled, "take care of yourselves, and don't you dare die before I return..."
Three beams of light fell on the other-worlders and they returned back to where they came from.
