6 Chapter 06
"It's done!" Ling said as he sat on the couch with a cat on his lap.
"Xian, take some rest." Ling said as he saw him moving towards his room.
"No, first I will take a bath. You should take a bath too."
"Yeah, after you." They only had one bathroom so they always had to take turns.

By the time Xian was bathing, Ling thought of watching the TV, he was very much engrossed in it that he didn't realize someone was standing behind him, until a few drops of water fell on his neck making him stand up in surprise.
"Ouch! My nose!!" Xian who just came out of the bathroom with a towel around his waist and naked torso, wet hair and now bloody nose said, Ling who was in daze until he saw the blood quickly made him sit on the sofa and ran for the first aid kit.

"So much blood…I am so sorry….really sorry…does it hurt? It's not broken is it? Should we go to a doctor? Or maybe I can call Bin Ge and—"
"Ling shut up..I am fine." Xian said as he covered Ling's lips with his hands.
"But…your nose.."
"My nose is fine, see it's not bleeding anymore." Xian said as he held Ling's hands that were treating his nose and gave out a small smile.
Seeing him smile suddenly, Ling got a weird sensation running all over his body, he gulped and pulled back his hand.
"You…why were you standing behind me like that in the first place?" He asked as he turned his red face to the other side.
"Oh that…I…just don't know but seeing those bikers racing I couldn't help but feel attracted towards them…makes me feel like riding one myself."
Hearing that Ling went silent and thought of what Bin Ge told him,
"How about we go biking then?"
"Huh? Do you have a bike?"
"No"
"Then do you know how to ride one?"
"No"
"Then why?"
"Because you want to."
"I Just felt so..what if I don't know how to ride too?"
"Let's just try it! And we will know." Ling said as he got excited and came close to Xian,
"...Ling, you…" His breath hitched words that seemed to be lost in his throat, "...Fine, let's try it but some other day." He said while pushing his face far from his.
"Really! That's a deal then!" Ling said as he jumped from the sofa and went to his room while Xian kept looking at him silently.
"He is just like a kid, isn't he?" Xian said as he looked at the cat beside him, "Meow?!"

"Aya, Ling, thank you so much for looking after my caicai."
"Here we bought you dumplings from the festival, eat them while they are still warm." The old couple said while handing Ling a basket full of dumplings.
"Uncle, aunty thank you so much and we really enjoyed taking care of caicai, she is really sweet." Ling said as he remembered how she licked Xian back and giggled.
"Really, then we will leave her in your care next time too."
"Sure!"

"Sure my foot." Xian who was sitting on the sofa said as he munched onto an apple.
"Why? Caicai seems to like you a lot though~" Ling said as he bought a plate of dumplings and placed them on the table, while Xian just stared at the tv.
"Now stop sulking and try this dumplings, they are the best~"
"Suit yourself" Xian said as he stood up,but Ling held him back.
"Stop sulking and open your mouth…hurry up, my hands are getting tired." Xian rolled his eyes and opened his mouth while Ling stuffed the dumplings inside.

Xian's neutral face suddenly turned red with his eyes getting enraged and he started coughing.
"What's wrong!!?? Here, drink some water."
Xian hurriedly drank the whole glass of water in one gulp but he was still breathing heavily. "Are you sure it's not the best way to kill people? It almost burned my mouth!" Xian said as he poured himself another glass of water.
Ling on the other hand started laughing,
"Just say that you can't handle spices~ and this is the best spicy dumplings of Chongqing. What else do you expect?"
"Just eat your spicy dumplings alone but spare me, I am going to my room."
"Wait! *runs to the kitchen* here it is sweet enough to remove the spiciness."
"Toffy? Am I a kid?"
"Do you want to or not?"
Xian doesn't utter a word and eats the candy, that was indeed sweet and within seconds it removed the spiciness.
"Sweet"
"Your welcome~" Ling said as he ate his dumplings, while Xian went to his room.

Meanwhile in Shanghai,
"Dr Bin, have you looked at the report of patient no. 13?"
"Yes sir, he is in stable condition."
"That's good and—-"
"Chief! Some people are looking for you." A ward slowly whispered into the chief ear.
"Who? Tell them to wait–"
"They can't sir they are from–"
"What! Why didn't you tell me about it before? Dr Bin, let's talk some time later." With that said the chief walked with the ward towards his cabin.
"So weird, just who on earth is so important for the chief to walk away in between work?"
As he was about to walk away he heard two nurses talk,
"Hey, have you heard people from VC are here?"
"Yes, I have seen their people looking for a chief."
"But why are they here?"
"I heard they are in search of someone."
"Are you talking about their young master? There are rumors saying he went missing."
"Yes, I think they are searching everywhere in China to look for him."
"Excuse me, sorry for intruding but can you tell me who that young master is?" Bin, not able to handle his curiosity, said as he smiled at the two nurses.
"What! You don't know him!"
"Umm, well I am new in Shanghai soo…"
"It's not about being in Shanghai, say have you heard of VC?"
"VC? Is that some kind of new word?"
"Nooo, my God, Dr Bin, have you been living under a rock all this time? VC means The Vasileios Corporation ! One of China's largest multinational companies! Even this hospital is one of their branches, the food we eat, the apartment we live in and the cars everything belongs to them."
"Wow! They are a big shot then~"
"Of course! And the person who we are talking about is the Ceo's eldest and only son, Wang YiFeng!"
"Wang YiFeng?? It's the first time I am hearing this name.."
"What! Doctor Bin you are really something! Wait let me show you his pictures, you will surely never forget him then!" The nurse said as she pulled her phone out, and was about to give it to her when a sudden bell rang,
"Bed no. 16 hurry up!" Bin said as he walked towards the ward along with the nurses.

"Xian! Xian open the door! Dinner is ready!" Ling said for the 5th time but still he didn't receive any reply,
"God! He must have slept again, just how many time have I told him not the lock the door! The food will get cold this way…."
For the past 1 week he has realized that Xian sleeps like a dead pig and this situation is now their everyday thing.

"I have no other choice then~" Ling murmured as he pulled out a key from his pocket and unlocked the door.
"I am not invading privacy, it's just for his good." He said as he smiled a little and entered the room where his eyes landed on the sleeping figure in the bed but the thing that surprised him was, Xian was sweating and shivering.
"Xian!" Ling ran towards him, sat by his side and tired to wake him up but it was all useless.

"Xian….*holds his hands* just what are you dreaming about…just what is the thing that makes you so uncomfortable…" Ling said as wiped his sweat with his sleeves and gently placed a kiss on his forhead.
And just when he did that, Xian was hit with a sudden jolt of embrasment making him realize what he did.

"Y—you are awake?" Ling said as he slowly backed his head up which was very close to Xian's.
But Xian held his neck and pulled him back to their original position,
"You just now what did you do?" His voice sounded very firm and his sharp eyes that looked so clearly at Ling's panicked eyes, that Ling could no longer look at him so he lowered his head and said,
"It–it– wasn't a k–iss! Just a peck! My dad always did that to me whenever I had a nightmare…so I did that hoping it will help…I know that wasn't right….if–if it hurts you t--thenI'm sorry…"

Xian, looked at the boy listening to his explanation very seriously, honestly he was surprised with a sudden warmth hit his forhead and the realxing smell of mint filled his head…he didn't dislike it but at the same time he didn't find it likable too…but after looking at Ling and listening to his words, he couldn't help but smile,
"Your dad told you that, it can help in nightmares?" He asked his voice a bit gentler this time.

"Yes and it really worked on me…So…I thought maybe it will work on you too…and looking at how you woke up just after a peck…proves it to be true, doesn't it?"
"In a sense you can say that, I was shocked and woke up…but Ling, don't try it on someone else, okay."
"Huh? why?" He asked but after getting the stern look from Xian he just agreed with him.
"I promise! I won't! So, do you forgive me?"
"Hah, do I have any other choice?"
"No~ Get up, food is getting cold, and let go my neck, will you?"
"Sure, here you go~" Xian said as he let go of his neck and stretched his arms.

"Freshen up, I will go and warm the food." Saying that Ling directly went to the kitchen and sat on the ground holding his face which was as red as a tomato.
"GOD! MY HEART ALMOST CAME OUT OF MY THROAT!!! AND DID I REALLY KI– NO GIVE HIM A PECK!!! JUST WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH ME!!!" Ling silently shouted while gripping onto his hair.

Meanwhile Xian, washed his face with water,
"…Cute.." He said as he touched his forehead, but his smile vanished as he remembered some bits of his dream and suddenly his head throabed, his eyes became red and within a few seconds everything became normal.
"..Is this a sign..of my memories returning to me?..." He thought as he looked at his reflection and wrote two character in the mirror which was V and C.
"VC…"
