1 An enemy 1

The warmth of the sun peeked through the leaves that covered miles of land, one large oak tree standing tall and proud no matter of its age as creatures big and small called this giant their home. Between the tall grass further to the north of the gigantic tree a young Chimeeko silently trotted getting closer to his target. For years Chimeeko's were known to be top of the food chain, When they came in small sizes there were known to be at a younger age unlike the larger and longer Chimeeko's, those that had different traits such as tail fins or wings came in brighter colors and were described as mortal gods because they were able to control magic at will. Though after thousands of years their population shrunk down to lower than ten and that had caused them to go in hiding yet one of them did the opposite and ran freely.

Getting closer to his destination he stopped, a slight jingle was made as he raised his head spooking the nearby birds, no matter how he tried to move quietly his head would jingle making it harder to sneak up on his target. For days now he had been walking, from jungle biomes to desert ones not eating anything in sight only focused on the task ahead. Clawing at the roots with his thin nails he began to scale the tree his bell jingling aggressively while other creatures cower in their homes or watch from bird's eye view, Though Chimeeko didn't mind after all he came for only one of them. Finding the nest his target left he climbed one branch above staring down waiting for his prey the Melcat to fly in.

Hours have passed since his wait and there was a strong urge to leave and give up though after those long grueling days of walking why give up now yet as he was about to jump down an arrow sliced through the air scraping the left side of his face, with a painful hiss he threw himself down and bolted to the tall grass unable to shake off the hunter. Knowing that he had to fight made him quiver but within the last second he spun around and struck the hunter, making a deep cut into their legs, A frightening scream filled the air as Chimeeko stood back watching the hunter drop to their knees, taking this advantage he pounced onto them, claws fixed on the hunter's throat "ok fine please....just please lift your paw off my throat".

He stood up and sat down looking like the creature got up rubbing their throat, shaking his head lightly he tried to communicate with the creature but there was no luck as the hunter tilted its head "what are you?" in response he shook his head again the only to confuse the hunter more "I don't understand you but I'll just explain to you" the creature said softly "I am a well-known hunter-wait why do I need to explain anything to you" the hunter said as they got up, Chimeeko took a step back as the hunter came closer to him however it was to late, feeling a sharp pain on the left side of his stomach, using up the little energy he had left he dashed into an opening getting further away from the oak tree before another arrow dug into his left leg making him collapse.

As he was greeted with a blurry vision he tried to pull himself up but plummeted back onto the floor, something wasn't right he felt like he was moving but he was not sure how, after all he knew very well that he wasn't standing or moving for that matter. Lifting his head to see, he stared down at the chains that clutched all for legs and shook his head, fear paralyzing him Chimeeko shook his head the jingle getting louder as he wasn't sure what to do next but make noise. Hearing footsteps fill the room Chimeeko stopped and carefully listened for where it was coming from, light shinned into the room as a door was swung open the hunter smirking devilishly as they made their way close to Chimeeko, still frightened he moved back as far as he could go his body shaking lightly. "don't worry little guy I won't hurt you yet that is" the hunter bent down in front of him holding a dagger in there left hand, Chimeeko bashed his head into the hunter's own sending them onto there back, the knife skidded into a corner. With only a few seconds to react Chimeeko tugged at the chains to get out, knowing it wouldn't work he used the little magic he could summon to break free and rushed to the door, pushing it open he took glimpses of his surroundings and hid under a nearby chair, he was on a train and he was unable to figure that out so he hid, "Little friend come out I won't hurt you" the hunter spoke in a high tone, from Chimeeko's view he could see the Hunter's faces was in blood although they kept on walking up and down the train cart. Chimeeko shook his head and found the footsteps get louder, taking this moment where he had left a deep cut he used his nails and sliced even deeper causing the hunter to cry out from the pain, he then hopped onto one of the chairs and tried to break the glass window, successfully doing so he jumped out of the moving train, tumbling onto the ground he shook with pain as his wounds were still open. Getting up slowly Chimeeko limped into a nearby forest looking around him not on his guard at all due to the intensifying pain in his leg and stomach, giving up for a bit, laying on his side breathing heavily, he was hungry and tired not sure at all where he was or how he would get back home.
