Your only a child once
It's been ruff having to think and act like a child though it has all been worth it. I've finally copied the gaurdians attributes and it was all pretty good from Dune I got a poison singer but the system made it like a retractable bee stinger so no one would notice that I grew a sand wind body part. Kestrel gave me a upgraded dragon battle prodigy which turned it from green to blue which let me tell you is a big win since for our journey we can't rely on Clay and Tsunami to protect the group since now that I'm here the other queens may take the prophecy more seriously since all the dragonetts are here this time.
Kestrel recently says that since we are now a little over a year old and are talking to much and starting to annoy her all the time. Though when she says training it's more like her smacking us into a wall and yelling at us to get up and that we should be stronger than that in order to stop the war. Not to brag but I can still get up even after getting slapped into the wall thanks to my purple herculean body.
Whenever I find Kestrel berating and needlessly "training" Glory made me run snd headbutt into her left side and bite down on her tail with all the strength I can muster. That's where I realized where I fucked up because she suddenly used her tail like a whip and repeatedly slammed me into the floor for the next minute although she didn't use her full strength and she made sure I knew that ehen she hollered "IF YOU EVEN THINK YOU CAN PROTECT ANYONE YOU GOTTA BE STRONG ENOUGH TO FOLLOW THROUGH" and those were the last words I heard before I passed out from the pain and quite possibly multiple cracked bones.
When I woke up it felt like all my bones were aching and I felt a weird weight on my chest snoring. Wondering what it was I opened my eyes only to see Glory laying her head on top of me seemingly trying to see if I was alive. That wasn't even the weirdest thing the weirdest thing was that she was not even in her usual colors instead she looked a little darker like she was sad and worried. Lifting my head up she seemed to notice my movement and emediantly jumped on me and asked if I was alright (Remember all the DOD are a little over one so they won't have the same personalitys until later in in the story.)
Whenever she jumped on me I let out a loud groan of pain because she was standing on my injured chest which Kestrel had been nice enough to give me. Glory seemingly realizing this jumped off like and asked me again if I was alright and, as the gentle man I am I pushed through the borderline agony that is moving around the sleeping area of the cave. After reassuring Glory that I was alright and she didn't need to worry about it I decided to go on a small stroll to the library only to see Clay, Tsunami, Starflight, and Sunny playing around and reenacting the story of how the great war started. Its always hilarious knowing that a queen could be killed by a scavenger but I guess in the right conditions anything could kill anyone.
Whenever they do this stupid play the roles never change since I like to be the narrator since I can actually do the deep narrator voice that you see in movies. Personally I see this whole war as stupid since the three princesses could have just fought and the last one standing will claim the throne. Though I doubt Blister being the cunning dragon she is would let that happen. When topics like this are brought up I usually give Sunny the most innocent of us all the most basic excuse of the three princesses don't want to see each other so they started a war to settle the score. I wanted to keep her innocent since she goes through a lot of bad moments like when she was going to be stuffed as decoration for Burn.
Though after thinking about it Tsunami will have to kill her dad so how do I prevent that from happening since he should have been strong as king of the sea wings. Maybe if I ask Webs to tell us more about the sea wings royalty he might even reveal that she's the sea wing princess. Although he probably won't because she'd try to run away if he did that.
Maybe Dune could tell us but really other than knowing the Sand wing royalty. I doubt he would know the sea wing king although I'm sure everyone know who the queen is since she writes so many books. Ok it's decided I'm going to see if I can convince Webs to tell us who the sea wing king is. When our history class of sorts started we all sat down in a circle like manner as Webs and sometimes Dune who chimmed in occasionally would talk about the war and who was winning, why they were winning, and even how they lost that advantage.
When Webs was talking about how the sea wings attacked a patrolling group of mud wings who wanted to find any weak spots in the sea wing defenses. When he mentioned that the sea wing king led the small platoon of soldiers to drive away the mud wings and I raised my talons asking who exactly was the sea wing king. Webs seemed proud that we took an interest in his king as he declared "that the king of the sand wings is Gill who is a fierce fighter and excellent general but unfortunately he was caught and put in the skywing arena." Dune hissing at him seemed to be saying that he said to much all through the glare he gave Webs and the low snarl that rang out. Well thats all I can do for now hopefully later things in the arena can end differently now that Tsunami knows his name. Having enough of the day I decided to go to sleep after doing my three laps around the cave and having dinner.
