Winds of Ruin

Born beneath cursed skies, a solitary boy raised within the ruins of a city once called home by many is cursed once more. A curse the boy considered insidious beyond belief. A curse that drowned the wealthy beneath piles of worthless gold and suffocated the poor beneath its merciless law. The curse of hope. A hope that would ignite the emptiness within him aflame with the vilest of dreams. A dream for a place to call home. But... At that time the boy had yet to bear witness to the countless cruelties that would soon befall him as a result of the curse. And the tragedies that would befall those who dared step into the world of the cursed child. If he had, then perhaps...
