I had been going into random dungeons as much as I could to gain some fighting experience, while I knew how to throw a punch and probably have fought in my old world…
Fighting dragons wasn't one of them. I may have the raw power, but I have no clue how to fight giant lizards that can fly.
Ddraig, the boosted gear isn't nerfed like in the book, right?

In the light novel, the [Boosted Gear] didn't exactly do as intended, instead of times 2 boost, the wielder's strength only increased gradually… That's why Issei had to boost multiple times, instead of only a few…
If the Sacred Gear worked as intended, he only needed to boost a few times to reach the top of the world's strongest— Not including his body's limit, which realistically would reach its limit at the very least one or two boosts.

One Ddraig announced that I launched himself towards the dragons. I cocked my fist back and threw it towards one, unfortunately for the dragon it didn't react in time and it exploded into several hundred pieces. The only thing that was left was gold on the ground.
The other dragons that saw this were shocked, but regained their composure and started blasting me with fire-breathing attacks.

The stored power from the Boosted Gear was lost, and I was back to my 150k stats, but that was still good enough.
That didn't last too long…

It bellowed out frustrated, it charged up another breath attack, longer this time… Then shot it towards me.
"Crap, that's big…"
Concentrating on putting more energy on my feet, I launched myself to the side with greater force, as I dodged the giant breathe attack.
Phew…
I saw the destruction the attack left and was glad I wasn't hit by it.

Alright, enough, do it!

By releasing the energy, my stats shot up to 600k, and with the new power I blitzed over the dragons and crushed their skulls with one motion. I turned to the others and did the same thing, tearing off some wings, and shoving another dragon's bones up another dragon's ass.

I slumped down on the ground. I won't get used to fighting… Maybe…

I know! I avoided all attacks that were sent my way. Let's do that then! I increased my speed and made contact with all the Serpent Gods. Once I did, I flew away leaving the Serpents confused. I put a hand out and—

[Divide] was used by Albion four times on the serpents, and after that they all fell to the ground weakened.
"Finally…"
I gathered an enormous amount of mana above me. It's like… The Spirit Bomb. Once I was satisfied with the amount I gathered, I threw it down on all the Serpents, and the hisses of pain and agony faded quickly. Once the attack was done, an enormous crater was left along with gold that the monsters dropped.
"I think I'm getting the hang of this…"

I already have this planned. I'll go to the shrine, find Akeno, and ask her if I can just look around and ask her for directions on where to buy food.

It didn't take me long to find the shrine, I climbed up the stairs… Low and behold I saw one of the characters I was fond of… Akeno Himejima.
She had a happy smile on her face as she swept the leaves around her home, she was humming an upbeat tune, having not noticed me yet.
"Excuse me?"
This catches her attention, and she looks at me, her face switching from smiling to frowning.
"I'm sorry, I won't go out with you."
She replies bluntly while keeping eye contact.
I was stunned into silence; I didn't expect her to react or reply like that… I won't lie that hurt a bit. Ugh…
"Huh? No, I was hoping to ask you if it's okay if I look around the area a bit. I moved into town a week ago and haven't really had time to explore the place."
I give her a wry smile and scratch the back of my head. I didn't look that suspicious, right?
She looks at me a bit shocked and bows.
"I'm sorry, I'm usually asked out by men the second they start speaking to me, and to answer your question. Yes, feel free to look around."
I smile at her.
"Thank you, also do you know which way the supermarket is? That was my original destination but got side-tracked because of the shrine haha…"
It was her turn to smile this time as she made a small gesture to her right.
"Yes, when you get back down the stairs turn right and follow the street until you see a store that says 'INTERSTATE' and turn left and follow that, you'll see a fairly large building, that's the local supermarket."
"I see, thank you for the help."
I walk past her and look around the place. Surprisingly, it's largely the same as the anime. However, there's another detail that they didn't show because, well, it's on a time crunch haha. After a few minutes of just looking around and making eye contact with Akeno a few times, I finally finished my mini-tour. I make my way back towards the stairs.

Akeno asks me.

I exclaim. I don't think I've been here in my past life…. But whatever, that can be looked at in the future, I have time…

"Yes ma'am! I'm originally from Ireland. I moved here after my parents both died in an accident, so I just wanted to move someplace else, and here I am. Oh, I'm Jin Skyward, by the way, 17 years old!"
I put my hand out for a handshake and smile. However, saying 'Jin Skyward' still felt weird even after a week... Whatever, I'll get used to it sooner or later.
She wears a sad expression and shakes my hand.
"Where are my manners? My name is Akeno Himejima. I'm Japanese and 17 years old. Nice to meet you… Handsome~"
She smiles seductively. Yep, there it is. The Akeno that's into S&M and really flirty.
"Nice to meet you too. I'm guessing you belong to school here? I'll be transferring to Kuoh Academy in a few weeks so at the start of the school year."

She says while looking forward with a smile. She didn't look too uncomfortable carrying those… No, she's a Devil so she has enchanted strength… So, it makes sense.
Yep, that smile is to die for. I want to protect it and have it directed at me.
"I can cook for you tonight if you want? As a thank you."
With a chuckle, I offered it to her, and there was a brief humming to indicate her acceptance.
"Sure! A free dinner is always welcomed."
She cheerfully replies, with that our pace quickened with me leading her to where my humble abode is. She's probably going to take this chance to see if I'm part of the supernatural or not, be my guest… I didn't even spend the week in my own home but in a [Dungeon]…
"Woah…"
Were the words that escaped Akeno's mouth after seeing my house. She looked a bit taken aback.
"Haha… Yeah, I kinda, bought a relatively big house just to future proof you know?"
This was true, for my future harem, I want to create a kind of pocket dimension with an Aincrad-like home, 100 floors and each floor is customizable. Maybe I'm being too optimistic?
"Future proof?"
She tilts her head not understanding what I meant.
I chuckle nervously and nod.
"Well… When I get a family for myself you know? For my future wife and kids."
I turn to her and smile. She stares back at me and blushes a bit…. Why? is the talk of kids and family that embarrassing for teenagers?

She breaks eye contact and turns away.
"Anyway, come in."
I take out my keys and open the door. I gesture for her to come in, she does, and I lead her to one of the kitchens.
"It's even bigger inside."
I smirk at her comment and she doesn't see that… Safe.
"Well, just put the bags here and relax, I'll get you a drink, coffee, or tea?"
"Oh… Umm tea please."
I give her a thumbs up and get to work. Akeno takes a seat on one of the chairs and just looks around. In the meantime, I make tea and while the water is boiling, I get to work on dinner. It's only around 6 p.m.
"Hey Akeno?"
"Yeah?"
She responds while still looking around the room.
"Do you have a set time you want to go home? And if you're that curious go ahead and explore but try not to get lost!"
I tell her and laugh at my last statement.
"No... I can go home whenever. Also, thank you I'll just do that."

After making dinner
Akeno finally came back to the kitchen/dining room after I called her.
"Smells wonderful."
"Yeah, one of many foods I ate a lot in Ireland. It's called Irish Beef Stew. Give it a shot."
I gesture to the food in front of her. She smiles and takes the fork and spoon and takes a bite of the beef and a sip of the stew.
Her eyes widen and she begins to eat even more like her life depended on it. I chuckle at the sight.
"I take it you like it?"
She only nods in approval without stopping.
"It's nothing special, just a regular recipe, my family does have a 'Skyward specialty'."
I grin and start eating my food too, we enjoy our meal in brief silence until—
Akeno finally stops and looks up.
"A specialty?"
She asks confused.
"Yeah, like our own version of the stew? Change some ingredients and a few other bits. It tastes very different but in a good way."
After that, we ate and made idle chatter about the upcoming school year and learned more about each other.
"Anything I need to know about the school? Or the people?"
She hums for a bit before answering.
"There are two boys that are called throughout the school as the 'Perverted Duo', the title is self-explanatory."
She lets out a chuckle, I nod in understanding… It's probably those two no doubt.
"Avoid and beat up gotcha. Anything else? Like clubs? What about the student council? Or any committees?"
She kind of froze when I specifically asked that, she might get suspicious. But hopefully, she'll just see it as me being curious about the new school.
"Oh yeah! I'm in a club called the 'Occult Research Club.' It's led by my childhood friend and best friend Rias Gremory, our club is also friends with the student council and its members, especially the President and Vice-President. Their names are Souna Shitori and Tsubaki Shinra, Rias and Sona are also childhood friends."
"The occult huh? I believe it's real, haven't seen proof though, haha. Maybe I should apply for the club? If I do, I look forward to meeting the club members."
Akeno's eyes widen but goes back to normal just as quickly.
"I-I'll talk about it to Rias and see what she thinks. But I'm sure she'll be happy about it."
She says with a forced smile. That made her a bit uncomfortable… Just gotta try see where my boundaries stand right now.
"Well, if your club has specifics on who can join then I won't push for it. So, don't try too hard haha."
I get up finally finishing my food, I take both our plates and begin to wash them. Akeno doesn't answer back though, I can feel her thinking about it.
"Thank you for the food, Jin, but I should get going…"
"Oh, okay."
I answer back, I turn around to see her getting up and making her way to the hallway.
"Wait!"
I get a lunchbox and put some rice and the stew into it along with some other bits of food.
"Here, something for tomorrow?"
I give the lunch back to her in a plastic bag.
"Oh also."
I take out a piece of paper and write down my phone number.
"My number."
She takes the plastic bag from me and the piece of paper, she smiles and blushes.
"Thank you, Jin… And good night."
"Good night, Akeno! No— Hime! (Princess)"
I shout out with a grin as she walks away from my house. Her head snaps around and looks at me surprised with an even bigger blush. I just chuckle at her reaction and wave her off, she does the same and finally leaves my line of sight.

He called me a princess… I couldn't help but have a big smile on my face, eh? Why? I don't understand my feelings right now, he's a friend for now. I shake my head of these thoughts. I turn into an alley and make sure no one is around and make a teleportation circle and teleport to where Rias and everyone were at.
"President."
I call out to my best friend and [King].
"Ah, Akeno, glad you could make it. Everyone is here now. How about you explain your day to us?"
"What do you mean President?"
A blonde boy asks Rias.
"Akeno met a new individual that has come to devil territory and she said she felt some sort of power within him."
She explained to our lone [Knight] piece Kiba Yuuto. Kiba-kun nodded at what Rias said.
"Some kind of power?"
A small and petite white-haired girl asked in a monotone voice. She was chewing on something… Probably candy she bought herself.
"Yes, Koneko, it may be magic or a sacred gear."
The girl nodded, she's our lone [Rook] piece, her name is Koneko Toujou.
"Yes, I met him around the afternoon. He claimed that he moved here after his parents died from an accident. He's originally from Ireland, his name is Jin Skyward, 17 years of age."
I pause and look at everyone, they were listening so I continued.
"I felt some sort of power radiating from him after he introduced himself to me and why he was at the shrine. He was new to the area and wanted to look around and was out to go grocery shopping."
"Yes, what happened after that?"
Rias asked me to continue and I did.
"Well, I offered to help him with shopping, and I also learned more things about him, and he offered to cook dinner for me. I just came back from that, as you can see."
As I hold up the plastic bag I had. They all looked a bit surprised…. Eh? Why? Did I say something strange?
"So, you went on a date?"
Rias asks with a deadpan. Which made me blush… My face was heating up again, please don't say it like that.
"I, uh, well… A-Anyway, how about we try some of it out?"
I tried to move the conversation along. The rest of her peerage nodded as they took some forks and spoons. Koneko scooped some of the stew up and ate it, she briefly stops before she starts to shove more and more into her mouth. Kiba chuckled at the sight and joined in.
When he took a bite, his eyes lit up
"This is good!"
Koneko nodded approvingly and quickly started to eat more of it… She's really a glutton, isn't she?
"Good... Good..."
I smiled at my fellow peerage members enjoying the food provided by Jin. But I see our [King] with a perplexed look on her, I was worried that she didn't like it.
"Rias? Is something wrong?"
I frown at her with concern. But she doesn't answer.
"Rias?"
"Is he single?"
She finally speaks up. Everyone just stops what they're doing and just stares at our king. Finally breaking out of the trance I manage to speak up
"W-What do you mean?"
"Is he single? If I marry him, or even date him he might cook delicious food for me!"
Our king happily cheers. She just said something very outrageous… Though we all should be used to it by now…
Everyone had varied reactions. Koneko nodded approvingly and Kiba had a wry smile on his face.
"I'm not sure, but I think he is single. He did mention about wanting to join the club—"
"YES, HE'S APPROVED BRING HIM HERE WHEN THE SCHOOL YEAR STARTS!"
Rias says in a very excited tone. We awkwardly look at our [King].
"Right… Anyway, about the stray we were informed about…"
I moved the conversation along; I felt a bit conflicted by all of that… I wonder when I'll meet Jin again?

Akeno Himejima
Safe to say Jin and I have gotten a lot closer within a week's time span. We've hung out nearly every day and talked about anything that comes into our minds. I've also been thinking of revealing that the supernatural was real to him. If he plans on joining the club, Rias might reveal it to him and take him for herself. I don't want that!
"Akeno? Are you okay?"
I hear Jin's voice and look back at him. I give him a half-hearted smile.
"Yeah, I'm okay."
I replied, but he looked unconvinced and looked at me with concern.
I see… It may have been a bit quick, but I may have fallen for him. Thinking about it, my cheeks heat up and I get a bit lightheaded. But when I think about revealing what I am to him and being rejected, I get scared. What am I supposed to do?!
Even with what happened to me last year… Chase-kun, the stalker and my own history— I should realistically hate men, but… I look at Jin and something just felt… Weird.

Well… It only took a week of random chance meet-ups between Akeno and I to get this far. We also hung out on impromptu dates when we accidentally came across each other. I wasn't intentionally finding her and coming across her…
I feel like the world was fucking with me when those times happened… Well, it didn't happen all the time, but still.
I didn't work on getting more levels, but I did go into empty I. D's and worked on getting better control of my own powers and as well as both of my Sacred Gears, it feels like both Heavenly Dragons and I's relationship became a lot better.
We're like… Roommates or brothers in a way, they give me advice, we banter and such, it was great… I didn't feel alone during those times since these two would sometimes break into arguments which was a good laugh every now and then.
I also went to meet the Three Factions. Devils, Angels, and Fallen Angels… Right now— The Red Dragon Emperor is only known by a few. I became the 'Middleman' of sorts. I want peace—
Though in reality, I'm a glorified mercenary and I'm only doing this to have an easier time meeting women in all factions and pantheons.
I inwardly sigh, we were currently outside the shrine where we first met up and we had fallen into silence. Fast romance… It's DxD but still… Hopefully I won't go this fast with everyone else…
"Hey, Akeno. I was wondering…"
I trail off and look at her. She stares back at me with curiosity and hope(?)
"Yes?"
She answers quickly and nervously.
"Would you b—"
I was cut off by a voice behind me.
"Well, well, well. Look at this, a devil hanging out with a human."
The voice says. I turn around and see Fallen angels there. They might also be rogues... Just random mobs, they all look so alike.
"No!"
I hear Akeno scream behind me, I turn around and see a horrified expression on her face.
"KILL THEM!"
The one in the middle says, two more fallen angels appear out of nowhere and launch Light spears at us.
"Nooooo!!!!"
I hear Akeno scream again as she started to sprint towards me. But she doesn't react or reach me in time.
The spears hit me and a small explosion hits the area around me. Akeno is thrown back and stares at the spot in disbelief. A small dust cloud covers the area so nothing could be seen.
"Jin! Jin!"
Akeno screams out in dismay….

"AHAHAHAHA, HUMANS ARE ALWAYS WEAK!"
One of the Fallen angels says while cackling in laughter.
Akeno was still sitting there tears streaming down her face as she looked at the dust cloud that was about to settle.
When it finally does, all that was present were shocked at the sight. I stood there unharmed— A human holding all three light spears with a smirk on his face.
"WHAT?!"
All three Fallen scream in disbelief as they see their attack had done nothing…
"I didn't expect to be attacked like this… Haah, how bothersome. Don't you rogue fallen have anything better to do?"
I tell them as I crush the light spears out of existence. That action seemed to piss them off as they charged at me. I swiftly dodged them and with a gentle tap I pushed them all away. They all landed on the ground with loud thuds. One of them was missing an arm.
Err— How weak is he? I really held back there…
[Your 'holding back' is different from the rest of us, Partner...]
{A T-Rex versus an Ant, and they hold back, yeah… That'll end well…}
"HOW ARE YOU SO POWERFUL?! HUMANS ARE AT THE BOTTOM OF THE FOOD CHAIN!!"

The fallen shrieked. I gave the rogue the middle finger, further pissing them off. I decided to summon the [Boosted Gear]. All their eyes widen
"T-That's!"
One of them exclaims.
"Just once would be fine. Interrupting my time with Akeno, and trying to kill us? I think that's punishable by death… Or something like that."
[Boost!]
Gathering Draconic energy in front of me at a rapid pace, I unleashed it.
"Dragon Shot."
Boom!!!!!
"Dammit it all!!!!!!!"
The three fallen screamed as they were erased from existence.
Phew… Thankfully I held back the range on the thing and it didn't go past further than the small wooded area near the place… If I didn't that would have alerted both heiresses, assuming they were here in Kuoh at the moment.
I finally turn around. Akeno still sitting there in utter disbelief.
"I guess I have some explaining to do, haha…"
She could only nod at what I said. I dismiss my balance breaker and go towards Akeno.
I take her hand first and look into her eyes, I'm quite embarrassed to do this, as this romance came out quickly, but… I don't regret it.
"First things first."
She looked at me confused as I step back.
"I like you, please go out with me."
"…Yes…YES! OF COURSE, I'LL GO OUT WITH YOU! IDIOT!"
The silence was deafening. she says almost in a whisper. I finally look up and tears were still streaming down her face, but this time she had a look of happiness instead. She launches herself at me and bear hugs me. I hug her back and stroke her hair.

We make our way into the shrine and I take a seat.
"I'll make some tea."
Akeno gets up and goes into the kitchen to make some tea. It's not the first time I've been in here, but I can't help but look around the place. It seems surreal honestly, being in a shrine and all.
Akeno eventually comes back with two cups one for me and herself. She sets mine in front of me and hers beside mine, she takes residency on my lap which makes me smirk.
"I don't mind the gesture, but you sure are quick."
She blushes and lightly smacks my arm.
"I thought I lost you today, can you blame me?"
"Cute, but I won't be defeated that easily, Akeno."
She nods and hesitantly asks me—
"So… How long have you known about the supernatural?"
"From the age of 7, I awakened two of my Sacred Gears."
"TWO!?"
She seemed shocked by that…Yeah, I'm not exactly from this world, and whoever reincarnated me…
"Yeah, since you're my girlfriend, I'll tell you what they are. Is it possible not to tell Rias Gremory yet? I would like to keep it a secret."
She only nods again. I sigh and get up. Why? I don't know— I have no real reason; I don't hate Rias… Maybe I just want an overdramatic reveal? Probably when I rescue her from Riser or something… As cliché as that sounds…
"We'll need space let's go back outside, but behind the house instead."
We make our way toward the back of the shrine and I stand a bit away from her.
"As you know I am this generation's Red Dragon Emperor. But I am also…"
I don't finish my sentence and release the wings from behind me. Revealing [Divine Dividing] to her.
Akeno's eyes widen in shock again.
"I am also the White Dragon Emperor. But it's a lot more complicated than that. Because there's also another White Dragon Emperor and his name is Vali, he's in alliance with Grigori."
"Huh?! How?! Two White Dragon Emperors?!"
She was confused, I can't blame her… This doesn't exactly make any sense…
"Akeno, I can't reveal much about myself for now, but I will tell you everything in the future. Everything I told you about myself is true, but it's more complicated than that."
Akeno nods again and seemed to brace herself—
"Well… I should tell you who I am?"
"I already know… Everything…"
I shake my head as she furrows her brows and looks at me confused.
"Akeno Himejima, Age 17, Priestess of thunder, S&M Queen, Queen of Gremory peerage."
Her eyes widen but I continue.
"Half Reincarnated Devil and Half Fallen Angel…"
She looked horrified at me.
"Daughter of—"
"NO!"
She shouts at me. I look at her with concern.
"Please don't say that name…"
She pleaded… Yeah that was my bad, she hasn't exactly worked through that trauma yet. She still hates him after all…

"Who really are you?"
"I've already told you who I am Akeno, I didn't lie about anything, but I didn't tell you the full truth."
"Then can you tell me a bit more? We did just start dating…"
She smiles weakly…. I nod, I see no problems with that… I have too at least be truthful— Even if partially to someone…
"Alright, sure, I'm Half Human and Half-Dragon God."
After revealing this her mouth just falls open and looks at me with surprise.
"D-Dragon God?!"
I only nod at her question. I then reveal my dragon wings as she looks at them.
"This proof enough?"
She nods again while staring at my wings— They were black and red in color… I was a black dragon then? Weird…
"Alright, anything else?"
"Do you know everyone's real identities at school?"
"Yes, I do. Two Clan Heiresses are governing over Kuoh."
After a long silence, Akeno finally speaks up again.
"Which faction are you a part of?"
"None, I have been taking requests and missions from all three factions. To better relations with them. You could call me the middleman? I want Peace Akeno."
"I've met with the four Seraphs of Heaven and the Four Satans. As well as the leaders of the Fallen Angels."
I pause to look at her, she's just standing there taking all the information being revealed to her. I want to meet with others in the future too… The threat of ExE is all real… Also, I can assume the multiverse— No, the omniverse is real… Who reincarnated me?
Some random R.O.B? Doubt it, it's too cliché… Then who? There are a lot of questions, but there are few answers... But it's all about the journey, not the end goal... So take it or leave it.
"Thank you, that's all for now…"
She turns around and starts to walk away.
"Akeno wait"
She turns around and looks at me.
"How about a date this Sunday? I'll pick you up here at 12 noon."
She smiles at me and nods. Still not sure how she's feeling, and I refuse to use that skill, I flash step towards her and hug her from behind and kiss the back of her head.
"I promise to reveal more things to you soon. I don't want to overload you with any more for now. But you can ask them anytime, alright?"
I hear her squeak out an 'Okay' before letting her go.

I look at my right hand. Time to resurrect Shuri Himejima… I wonder if the reunion will be smooth…?

I teleport to a bunch of cemeteries and look for her grave. I eventually find it after the 3rd cemetery I get to.
"Damn, just a random cemetery, how fucked up can that clan get?"
It's still nighttime, so I get to digging her out. I activate the skill [True Resurrection] and the skeletal remains of Shuri glow for a few seconds. It eventually dies down and a woman that looks identical to Akeno stood before me.
"W-Where am I?"
She asks looking around and then finally at me. She seems to be in a bit of a daze…
"Hello, ma'am. My name is Jin Skyward, I just resurrected you. It's been around 6 to 7 years after your death."

"Shuri, I know I just started dating Akeno, but I know a lot more about her than she thinks. I also want to help repair a broken family."
"Thank you."
She nods and I grab her shoulder and teleport us back to my house.

She asks surprised by the quick change of surroundings.
"My home, there are quite a few beds so just pick any. I'll contact Azazel. We'll go to Grigori to meet Baraqiel."
Hearing this, Shuri quickly nods her head.
"I would be forever thankful for this… Thank you, Jin-kun."

Shuri and I finished having breakfast and finished getting ready to make our trip to Grigori.
"Shuri, I'll be putting an invisibility spell on you."

I greet the governor; he was just there fiddling with documents of paper.
"WHAT THE HELL?!"
He screams in surprise and falls over. Was it that surprising? You should be more prepared dude…
"I'm here for a favor."
"Ugh... So, what do you want?"
Azazel replies rubbing his backside while getting up. He looked slightly irritated.
"Can you get Baraqiel to come here?"
He tilts his head in confusion and nods his head. He creates a communication circle and tells Baraqiel to go to his office.
"So, why do you want Baraqiel?"
She asks, but before I could answer a teleportation circle appears beside Azazel and Baraqiel appears. I briefly look at Shuri and she has a nostalgic look on her face.
"Ah, Jin, how can I help you today?"
Baraqiel asks me. Of the times I've come to Grigori and taken requests, two have been from Baraqiel.
"So, I have a few things to say and reveal. 1. I started dating your daughter yesterday."
This reveal makes his eyes widen while Azazel grins like a madman.
"O-Okay…?"
Baraqiel stutters out shocked and confused. This reaction caused Shuri to giggle beside me.
"2. We're going on a date on Sunday. But that's changed because of a certain someone."
"What? By who?"
Both fallen ask utterly confused now.
"Cancel Invisibility"
I cancel the skill and a woman is revealed to be standing beside me.
"Gentlemen, I present to you the newly resurrected Shuri Himejima."
Both their eyes widen in surprise and disbelief. Shuri immediately runs towards Baraqiel and hugs him. He, on reflex, hugs her back in return.
"Sh-Shuri…?!"
Baraqiel asks in surprise as tears begin to form.
"It really is me, dear!"
Shuri exclaims as she begins crying and burying herself into her husband's chest.
Why is this going smoothly? I read the Light novels… And I put a memory in her— It was a fake one, but real at the same time. It was Azazel and I 'talking' and he said that he blames himself for making Baraqiel come back to Grigori that day.
Azazel had given Baraqiel a mission that day— So that's why he couldn't protect them, the Himejima clan was responsible… Maybe more? What if they collaborated with Rogue Fallen? I can assume this is an alternate universe…
Azazel just stares at the newly reunited couple in disbelief until he stares at me in shock and concern.
"How?"
"I can resurrect the dead with no consequences. I brought her back to life last night. In short, I want to repair a broken family."
"I'll be damned Jin, holy shit… Wait, then can you…?"
"Bring back the old dead guy? Most likely, but I won't. It'll shake the balance. I can also talk to souls and I doubt he'd want to come back."
I answer him, to which he only nodded in understanding. But it looked like he was still in deep thought.
Baraqiel eventually breaks his hug with Shuri and walks over to me. He suddenly bear hugs me.
"Thank you! ...Thank you…."
I pat his back and hug him back lightly
"Don't worry about it. I just want Akeno and all of you to be happy. This comes into the 3rd thing. The date for Akeno and I will be replaced with a family outing. All three of you will spend the day. I'll be nearby."
I break the hug and explain my plan to them.
"I'll be meeting up with Akeno on Sunday and 12 noon. I'll use the same invisibility spell on you two, speak to her and then undo the spell. It'll be up to you guys after that."
I take out a piece of paper and hand it to Baraqiel
"This is my phone number, contact me when all is done, and I'll join you guys."
"Okay, thank you again, Jin. But where's Shuri staying?"
"She was staying in my house, there's a lot of room so she was in her own bedroom. She can stay in Grigori with you from now on if you want. If not then she can stay at my house for the time being."
He nods and turns to Shuri… She was still hugging him, I guess they missed each other that much, huh? it was an… Untimely death after all.
"What do you want to do honey? I have enough space in my room, but it'll be a tight fit."
Shuri goes into thinking for a few moments but then speaks up,
"I'll stay at Jin's place for now. I want to get re-acquainted with the modern world for the time being."
Baraqiel nods to her answer.
I take out another piece of paper and write my address and hand it to him.
"My address, also the place has some magic barriers placed on it, so you can teleport directly to Shuri's bedroom."
He gives me another hug.
"Thank you again, Jin. I don't think we'll ever be able to repay you."
He says with a genuine smile.
"Like I said, no worries."
I genuinely did this because I want to see Akeno genuinely happy, and not put her through all that emotional turmoil.
"There is one-way dear."
Shuri chimes in making us all look at her questioningly
"To give him our blessings."
She says with a huge smile. Azazel looks back at me with a massive shit-eating grin.
"I, THE GOVERNOR OF GRIGORI, AS WELL, OFFER YOU, MY BLESSINGS!"
The Governor-General exclaims. Azazel… Do you even have any authority over that…?
"…I… Yes, that would be fair. You have my blessings, Jin. If you eventually marry our daughter, then you have our approval."
I just stare at them in shock this time, what the hell do I even say in this situation…?
"I-Uh-I…. Okay…. Thank you…?"
They laugh at my reaction; I just cough into my fist.
"We should go then Shuri-san, we can buy you some things, a phone, clothing, and other essentials."
She nods and gives her husband a quick kiss and hug and stands beside me.
"Ash Crow, keep this a secret for the time being alright? I want the peace conference in the future to go smoothly."
Azazel just nods and we both teleport out of there.

We arrive back at my home and I turn to her.
"Now then, let's get you more acquainted?"
I smile at her and gestured towards the door.
"But first, I need to use some transformation magic on you, so if we come across Akeno today or anyone else, they won't recognize you."

She cheerfully exclaims. We eventually get back to my home without incident, thankfully we didn't come across Akeno, or I would have been in an awkward situation.
It was around 5 p.m. in the day now, I help Shuri with some organization with her room. With that, an hour quickly passed.
"Jin, let me make dinner tonight."
She said with a tone suggesting I couldn't refuse, I chuckle at her and just agreed.
"Sure, thing Shuri. I'm sure I stocked up enough ingredients for you to experiment with."
Shuri just smiled and pulled her sleeves up with a determined and happy expression. She quickly made her way into the kitchen while I tidied up loose ends. After doing so I made my way to the dining room and watched her do her thing.
She certainly has a happy and light step to her. I wonder if Akeno is like that? I thought to myself.

I could hear Ddraig chuckle to himself.
{Just, don't.}
Shuri notices me intently watching her and smiles.
"Is something the matter, Jin?"
She asks playfully. Yeah, definitely not a good idea. I chuckle again.
"No, not really, I was just wondering if Akeno would act the same way while cooking something, that's all."
I gave her an honest reply, I can't go around wanting to bang my own girlfriend's mother… Right? Also, I'm in pretty good standing with the father, so might not wanna ruin that.
Shuri pauses for a moment and puts a finger on her chin.
"Hmmm, I did try teaching Akeno on how to cook when she was young, and she did trot around like a happy puppy."
After saying the last part Shuri chuckles to herself and carries on cooking. I just smile at the new info I was given.
"Alright then, I have a lot to look forward to."
I reply back and pull out my phone. A small bout of silence takes over the room as I look up random info on the web, but the silence was broken when Shuri started humming to herself.
The rest of the night was filled with the both of us eating dinner and talking about mundane things, as well as informing Shuri about the current state of the world, both normal and supernatural.
Around two hours before we hit the hay, I decided to try to teach Shuri more about the new modern Smartphone. Which… Was a challenge in of itself, but was also enjoyed myself since her reactions were cute and amusing.
