Leslie and Calix didn't talk much during their ride home. Both of them were exhausted from spending more energy than usual playing with the children. Yet, one could say none of them regretted going to the orphanage.

Leslie took a quick nap on the flight while Calix was still wide awake. He kept recalling every moment he spent with Leslie and Calliope earlier.

Really, he didn't expect to receive anything from the little one.

Calix handed the box storing Calliope's precious pebbles to Logan for safekeeping. It was placed together with the gifts presented by Director Li.

'Perhaps we can do something with the stones.'

Calix was reminded of the beautiful pebbles and seashells crafts done by Lucille for Amelia. His sister-in-law usually used them to make planters, accented decors and small jewelry.

Calix intended to talk about turning Calliope's pebbles into something with Leslie before proceeding with anything.
