A BIG FUCK UP-2

Me and Eva stood in front of the outer walls, waiting in the dark of night, the walls weren't illuminating. I've always liked darkness. The rainy clouds blacking out the sky in the morning time, have been my one of the most favorite occasions of weather.

Tapping her feet, Eva was looking far ahead towards the mountains.

"It's time. She's going to be here any second now." I concurred. Eva gazed towards the dark clouds.

"The weather seems bad today, and I don't think it rains water here." Keyword-Water. Eva was distracted by a red thunderstorm forming far away, heading directly towards our direction.

"She's here!"

A streamlined aircraft, hovering by the clouds, slowly descended. It's huge size coming in clear view.

'Hah! What's with that size? That's a Clear act of boasting! But that won't work on me.', I paced towards her landing spot.

But some things are cliché as hell, even in the space world.

"Stop right there! Back off!" A what seemed like wannabe loyal bodyguard addressed me, pointing a gun straight at my head.... In full body armor, battle headgear with a laser weapon in hand?

[ Ion gun ]

'Ah yes, thanks for that.'

Thinking about how to teach common courtesy to this wannabe bodyguard, I glared at him, releasing some radiation. I still don't clearly understand how this radiation and emotions work yet.

But as expected the guy fell down on his knees holding his stomach, and vomiting some stuff, still inside his helmet of course.

"Oh, I wouldn't do that, we haven't even greeted each other. Hope you keep some restraint." A lady just below 6' in height spoke coming out of the high door, in clad white dress. A white cap crowned her head, with a white coat hanging on her shoulders.

Extending her right hand, she gave a professional smile.

"Captain Walesa, nice to meet you"

"Kurt Blaid, it's a pleasure meeting you, Captain." I shook her hand, with an elusive grip.

'How many people did she bring?' I glanced at the unconscious soldier being carried inside by other personnel.

[A total of Hundred people, with eighty armed men...]

'What!? That many?'

"My apologies, you see I'm not in a good mood today. Hope you understand.", I added smiling, loosening my hand out of her grip. The lady gave a flinch, but soon relaxed.

"Now, let's continue our chat inside, shall we?", I motioned her to follow me. She was going to follow up, but I interfered;

"And inform your men to go back, I don't want anybody near my territory" I said with a heavier tone. The lady scoffed at that.

'Did she just scoff at me?'

"But how am I supposed to go without any personal secu-!" The lady stumbled as she felt tremors beneath her feet.

[Constructing rail gun (MAX)....]

[Constructing complex weaponry sector....]

A big protrusion growled coming out of the ground, around it the rocky ground fell across miles.

Miles and miles of dry land shifted, several massive weaponries formed, all of them locking their sight of target towards the sky.

[Construction complete....]

[Charging modules...]

Beneath it, underground, a massive battery of metal formed, with blue energy flowing from and to other weapons around. The energy network charged weapons to full power in seconds, as all of them hinted to fire towards the sky any moment.

[Target on sight....waiting for confirmation....]

"Captain, believe me...I'm in no mood to play any games. Even though I can kill you, and shoot down that big spaceship of yours, I seriously would not prefer that."

The lady, at first shocked, immediately frowned at my face.

"Hah! That's not how it works sir, there are protocols we have to follow. Even if you threate-", I closed the distance between us with a single step, as I controlled myself from strangling her neck.

"Tell me, Miss Walesa, who was the one that attacked us out of nowhere. You!

And still after all that, I wanted to have a talk, a peaceful way to get out of this. And invited you for a negotiation." I snarled at her face.

"But did I agree to have a hundred men on my territory? I can somewhat understand bringing some escorts, but there was clearly no need to bring a whole legion of armed men for a meeting." I saw her gulping on dry air, when I mentioned the exact number of men she brought.

"Or were you planning on something else than negotiations?", I whispered in her ear.

Hearing that she instantly froze up.

'Hah! knew it. Obviously, it wasn't going to be peaceful. '

"No-No I wa-" The lady spluttered and bit her lip.

"Just send them back, I want to get over with it quickly", I huffed pinching the bridge of my nose. I was in a really bad mood.

"O-okay, give me a sec", she muttered going a little back, doing something on her watch.

'She pulls another shit like this, and I'm going on war!'.

I glanced at Eva. She was staring at me with a confused expression. Like she has never seen me before.

"What?!", I spat.

She jolted, and diverted her eyes down to her feet.

"N-nothing". Eva shivered. She seems scared and hurt.

She didn't need to be scared of me.

It pained me, looking at her. She was completely disheveled.

"Eva I'm sor-", I took a step closer to Eva,

"Um... I told them to get back on the mother ship, Now are we fine?", The woman interjected me, and I couldn't apologize to Eva.

I wanted to kill that captain and destroy that spaceship of hers, everything ends. But there were too many variables.

I needed to have a conversation right now, not a killing streak.

"Yeah, okay, follow me." I took long steps through the space formed in walls, not paying attention if she's following or not.

Reaching the main gate, I took a glance at Eva. It seems she is in work mode now, it's good. I'll have a talk with her after all of this ends.

The gates opened automatically when I placed my hands on the metal.

'Everything's ready'

We stared at each other while Eva served us Tea, with some sweet cookies and snacks.

The captain looked at the delicacies on table with awe, like she had seen them before, but never tasted one.

It certainly piqued my interest.

"Wow, where did you get these? Aren't they, like super expensive on market?" the lady asked.

'Market? that's something new'

"We made them here", I said, picking up the tea cup, taking a sip.

Her face showed that she didn't believe that.

"it's not a lie." I smiled at her. Well at least it's not a complete lie.

"But how did you get the recipe? Even the union hasn't been able to get it. Did you come here from sector 12?". She asked, of which I didn't understand a word, anyhow I joined some threads and played ignorant, which I truly was.

"Um, I don't know what you're talking about? I am from this planet, I told you before." I decided to go with that. I also have the blue family recovering, I can always get them to testify of my origins.

If it doesn't work, I can always say I was just joking.

"I'm sorry, what?" The lady looked at me like I was not making any sense.

"I said, I live here. I am a resident of this place" I repeated with clear seriousness on my face, taking another sip of the tea.

"Sir, I-I know you are trying to escape the situation, but this is ridiculous. Just surrender already." She spoke. I had to give it to her, even knowing what I'm capable of, she's still speaking high and mighty. I wonder why she has such confidence?

I glared at her, sending chills down her body.

"Ev-even if you are capable of killing me and destroying the ship. You won't be able to escape Union. You know that right?" Lady smirked, crossing her leg on another, trying to look confident. But I clearly caught the fear in her squirm.

Staying silent, I went for a snack, munching on it and enjoying the familiar taste.

'If I had known food wasn't a problem with C.P, I would have become a glutton by now.'

Getting out of my gratifying thoughts, I examined how her hand went for the biggest pastry.

I'm sure, if I wasn't here right now, she would not have taken a single minute to clear the table.

I glanced at her biting on the creamy part, as her eyes closed at the heavenly taste of it.

'So that union gives her the confidence to talk like that even in this situation. It must be something big, discerning how she's acting tough.

Sigh, Now I know for certain that not going on offence was a good Idea on my part.'

I looked at her, enjoying the sweets. Her expression saying, she would be gaining more in this negotiation anyway. But little she knows.

"Um...I don't know anything about Union and stuff, but I think you've no idea who I am." I ridiculed.

"I live here, and it's been like that for years, I don't know who you are or what the Union is, But one thing is certain... you are the one wrong here." I snarled.

"Hah! It's clear who's the wrong one here." She hissed through the cup.

"Yes, it's you" I snickered, as she placed her empty cup down with a thud.

"We have proof that this planet was destroyed years ago, and nobody lived through the impact. And here you are, lying shamefully in my face! I know you're a pirate but at least Have some self-respect." The lady chided, giving me quite a major piece of info.

'As expected, they knew of the planet. But the loophole is in their proof. OfCourse I'm not from here but what about the blue ones? If they are, I am too.' I snickered at my own perfect planning.

"What? have something to bicker about?" Captain hissed probing my smug face.

"Ah yes, you are right about the impact part, but not the whole." I replied, as her dull eyes provoked me to continue with my bullshit.

"You know, that impact surely was going to clear everything off, and yeah it successfully did. But some exceptions were there"

I folded my arms at the table, coming closer towards her, I whispered;

"Some people survived". No response, maybe she didn't hear me.

"Some people survived", I restated, to which I received a hearty laugh.

"Haha… Now that's some level of bullshit I've heard after a long time." Captain bantered. I rolled my eyes; she laughs quite loud for a lady.

'(Sigh) I knew she wouldn't believe me with just that.'

"Captain, do you know which species lived on the planet before the impact happened?" I quizzed, hoping to receive the answer I know of… or what I get to know of.

"Oh yes… Xenons and Zalkans was it? I have a picture here with me if you want to see" The lady offered me a broad panel. On it I saw the exact copy of blue aliens I have, recovering in my medical facility.

'Huhu… I'm so saved.'

"And yeah, we weren't able to get anything on xenons, 'cause you know they weren't exactly 'friendly'. But we do know, they were able to change their shape, so having a picture of them wouldn't really make sense, right?" she chortled, munching on a Choco-chip cookie.

'Wow, is it luck? Or some plot armor?' For a second, I doubted my existence. Everything she has, is in my favor. What is this, some kind of cliche story?

"Hmm, so have you met any of them in real life?" I inquired repositioning myself on the chair as I received a message from the system. I noticed Eva's glance and nodded, as she hurried outside leaving us two alone.

"Ah, no. Nobody has. There was only a little data on them, since the Union wasn't exactly that influential back then. Most of the info is from space probes." She explained.

Noticing there wasn't much left on the table for the captain to munch on,

I placed a small brown case in the center of the table, and offered it to her.

"What?" She hesitated. "What is it??"

"Open it and see for yourself", I smirked.

Sliding the box over to her side, she clicked the side buttons. The upper case opened.

The captain gawked at the article the case carried for a good minute.

She looked at me, then pointed at herself, "Is-is it for me?". I nodded.

"I-I can't take it, it's too much…"

"Oh well, I'm not a smoker, so..." I hinted, trying to come as a little approachable.

"B-but it's, how did you get it?" The lady seemed flabbergasted, literally.

"You won't believe me, even if I told you." I grinned. It's from System, and I bet it's worth the fortune on the market she speaks of.

The lady's eyes went back to the roll, as she gulped the residual stuff her mouth might have held.

Her eyes sparkled, trying to take in everything before it vanished. Her fingers carefully dug the cigar out, as she placed the thicc *wink* brown cigar between her fingers. I passed her the lighter, but she held the other hand out in refusal. I furrowed to ask, when suddenly the cigar started burning on its own.

And in that instance, I knew, whatever she just now did, wasn't as simple.

[ Use of mental power for generation of extensive vibrations in molecules detected…]

'In short, she can control fire?'

[ Affirmative ]

'Hmm, that's another piece of useful info. It seems things in space world aren't as easy as it seemed.'

Walesa was smoking with an expression like she had reached heaven.

"So, you can do fire and stuff?" I tried asking as calmly as I can. She eyed me, narrowing her sight to my face. It seemed like she was deciphering something, before she answered with a plain remark;

"Yes. You seem surprised" she said narrowing her eyes.

"Oh, yea. Haven't seen anybody with a fire ability". I replied ignorantly, as I am. Which seemed to annoy her… very much.

"You know what? Just surrender already, stop playing games with me! I know you're cooking something in that brain of yours, you're way too calm." Captain said, somewhat exasperated, putting down the smoldering cigar.

She's sharp!

Seeing her this aggravated, I wanted to do more. I realized there's a little sadistic side to me.

[… "We are ready"…]

Eva contacted through the system. It was time to turn the tables.

"Tell me captain, would you like to meet them?" I pointed towards the picture on her panel placed on the side of the table. She gives me a grimaced look.

The main gate again opens as Eva enters through.

The captain's eyes once looked by the gate, remained there. Her eyes widened staring; it seemed her brain had stopped working.

"My questions seem to have fallen on empty ears?" I chuckled. Well, it was to be expected, seeing the exact figures you thought didn't exist, breathing in front of your eyes. It would be quite a surprise.

"Now wouldn't it be?" I laughed softly, as Eva came around, with familiar blue figures following behind.

"Huh? Wha-How? " Her words fell down her throat. Extremely confused, she pleaded me with her eyes, for answers.

"Haha… you believe me now? Told ya." Snickering, I looked at her doubtful face.

'Still refusing to believe, such stupid woman.'

"And I thought you were smart (sigh), let me explain. Again."
